I just love the idea of all the fics being connected to each other

Yes, I like to think all my fics are connected (except for the one fic where the reader gets amnesia and forgets the boys 😂)

To be honest, they are connected to eachother in my mind, if you squint, you can find few subtle references from my older fics in newer fics 😌

few references and examples of how my fics are connected:

- Marc's grumpy eagle expression is constantly referenced my reader in my prank fics

- The unicorn plushie imagine happens after this fic where reader sends them a unicorn sticker

- The fic where reader tugs Marc's cape happens after the boys return home after that. (There are gonna be another reference to this in the upcoming fics 😋)

And I'm planning to reference more in my future fics as a continuation 😌

Since I'm meant to be a guide for LQ, I would try to be as encouraging and patient as I can. I would still try to motivate LQ to slay the Princess like they're supposed to, but I would try not to be snarky about it, even if they don't always do what I say.

🌟 A headcanon about their desires/wishes

If there's anything the Opportunist desires, it's the attention. He wants everyone to love him and have all their eyes on him. But his only way to achieve such attention is through lies and deception. He knows it'll be temporary once he decides that he doesn't need it anymore, so he might as well take it while he still can. Even so, he also wishes it could last a little longer.

🫂 A friendship headcanon

It's no secret that the Opportunist is disliked by the other voices, but I think the only ones who genuinely want to be his friend would be Smitten and Skeptic. Of course, Smitten loves everyone unconditionally (except for Cold lol) and he's always happy to give Oppy a chance. As for Skeptic, he can easily see through Opportunist's facade and wants to get to know their true self. So he tries to get Oppy to drop the mask little by little while they spend time together.

That's a good question, what about James?

I'd say he's doing alright! He may have faced a lot of ups and downs, but he's strong enough pull through them. After all, someone still needs to run that beautiful ✨splendid✨ red engine on the railway.

Even when the Steam Team had to go through some rearrangements, James stayed and is ready to set himself as an example for the newcomers. Gordon even gave him a new coat as a sign of recognition. It's going to be tough work, but it's nothing he can't handle.

Behold, Princess Wysteria!

If I was a princess, I would probably be someone like the soft princess in Chapter 1. I seem soft and loving at first glance and would offer to have a tea party to anyone who comes down the basement (It's got sweet treats and everything!) But if someone keeps pressing my buttons then that's when my annoyance starts to show (And it'd be best not to escalate that...) As a princess, all I want is to have an enjoyable time with you, and it's especially good if you set me free! As long as you don't have any thoughts about slaying me or being mean to me, everything will be fine.

Oh yes I agree! I love how this game is a blend of horror, romance, and comedy at the same time. And there’s so many good lines that come from it! I think these 4 in particular are my personal favorites:

Stubborn: Well? Are you going to listen to him, or are you going to listen to me? Get. Up. (THIS LINE GOES SO HARD AAAAAAAAA)

Hero: And? Does it hurt? Cold: No. (Cold’s delivery on this line. Like damn…he’s got a very hot voice 😳)

Paranoid: Oh that’s right! Yeah, fuck this guy. Don’t trust him. (LMAO the absolute shade)

Smitten: Your nightmare is our dream. Whatever world would condemn star-crossed lovers like us to a cycle of violence and despair isn’t a world worth saving. (This has got to be the most heartfelt and genuine line from Smitten. He is so right for this. 💖)

😶 A random headcanon!

Cold doesn’t enjoy movies but he does find some sort of entertainment in them no matter what genre or how good or bad they are. The other voices assume that he’d be into horror movies but he doesn’t have a strong preference. Though there has been an instance when he and Hero were watching a comedy movie about ghosts. Towards a very emotional ending, Hero swore he could have seen Cold shed a tear…

That is so sweet of Henry! I think that just shows how much Thomas grew on him at this point. They may have been snippy towards each other in the early days but now they're close enough to support each other.

Based on a post about Percy and Harold:

If Percy is older than Edward but looks younger than he is, what was Edward’s reaction to finding out that Percy is older than him if he did or ever found out?

How would the others react if they ever found out? Or would they not believe Percy is older than Edward? Because then that would make Gordon the youngest.

(Gresley a1 Pacifics were made in 1922. Furness K2 “Larger seagull made in 1896. E2 tank engines made from 1913-1916. And L and YR class 28s made from 1909-1912. And for the heck of it: Sterling singles made from 1870-1895. Also Toby: J70 tram engines made from 1903-1921)

I feel like if the others ever found out about Percy’s age they’d lose their minds since Percy doesn’t act that old.

Ok so I found out that the Avonside 0-4-0 saddletank engine was built sometime in 1897-1900, so Percy is technically younger than Edward. But it’s a one year difference at most, so that still means he’s REALLY old. Sorry if I was wrong about that fact!

That being said! I think Edward would be the first engine to know about Percy’s real age. One day, he was feeling upset about being called “old” by the others. Percy tries to cheer him up by telling him that he can’t be that old since Percy claims to be ‘even older’. Edward doesn’t know what he means by that, so Percy tells him his actual age.

The blue engine is surprised to hear about this. He never would have guessed that a small and energetic tank engine like Percy would be just as old as him. Edward laughs and tells him that he’s still a year older than Percy, but he appreciates the support. He then asks why Percy never told anyone about this and the green tank engine replies that no one would believe him if he did. Edward understands since Percy does get teased a lot for being little, so he promises to keep it a secret.

A few years later, Percy’s crew wanted to celebrate Percy's build date (they have an estimated guess) so they surprise him with a birthday cake. That is when all the other engines learn about Percy’s real age. Needless to say, they were all in shock. (Except Edward because he already knew.)

Emily and Toby are confused about why Percy never acted his age but they don't mind that much. He’s still the same cheerful and hardworking little saddletank they know and love. Thomas bombards Percy with a million questions while Henry starts to feel bad about being rude to him in the past and apologizes by saying that “he didn’t know”. Percy happily forgives him since he's nice to him now. He also teases Thomas to "respect his elders" from now on, but Thomas teases him back saying that an elder can be his best friend too.

Gordon and James are freaking out and refuse to accept that Percy is older than them. This hits harder for Gordon since he is technically the youngest of the Steam Team.
