Just me thinking about how wyat was probably the man who murdered Jessica (👆 strangulation is a crime of passion) in the timeline before time travel began...

Jealousy... anger... domestic violence...

That pretty much defines wyat and Jessica's marriage. I feel so bad for Jessica. She deserved so much better than to be stuck in a shitty marriage with wyat.

Even more gross that if wyat killed her in a crime of passion, in the Shitmas episodes, he wanted to escalate it to premeditated murder when he said he'd go back to take care of her himself. *

If we accept Shitmas as part of canon (I don't) then I really hope Lucy has an escape plan to get out of her marriage to him, and to get her twin daughters safely away from him, too. Even in the OG26 series, wyat was displaying some serious red flags. Especially during season 2. And especially in the way he treated Lucy.

* note: I only watched the Shitmas episodes once, and I'm going by my memory of what happened. I could be remembering incorrectly that wyat said he'd take care of Jessica by going into the past to un-alive her again.

The autopsy report also says he was found on Eastward Beach... which is 200 miles from San Diego where Garcia arrived to kill Jessica (you know... murder her for wyat since after everything wyat wanted his wife murdered AGAIN instead of trying to help her/save her from Rittenhouse, and lart fanfic Garcia Flynn is an apparent moron).

Anyway... Garcia in that Shitmas episode spent many hours inside his own timeline. And he isn't stupid, so he understood that he was going to die. And I hate Lauren and arika so much for gifting fans a Garcia Flynn suicide as their "love lettre" (that's what they were calling the Shitmas episodes back then) to us for Xmas that year. Those two can fall off 🖕

Interesting though that the Flynn family lived nowhere near the main present day location of the Timeless series, nor close to where wyat logan initially murdered his wife (bc who the hell else would've done it given what we were shown in Shitmas where a Rittenhouse agent texted Jessica to get her out of her husband's car so she wouldn't get murdered).
