Summary:

Wolfwood had a feeling that Vash would be the death of him. He just never thought it would be like that. He stares at the single red petal in his hand. It blends in so well with the blood on his hands that it could easily be overlooked. It makes him wonder briefly if it is the first one or just the first one he noticed so far. Wolfwood grapples with the realization that after everything, he can still love deeply and unconditionally but the prize for it is his life.

Which i wrote for vashwood week earlier this year but really became far more Wolfwood whump than vashwood. It would fit day 4, hidden wounds

The drink was spiked. With what, he wasn’t sure. Even with Vash clearly not being human (no one human could keep up with him in a fight after all - that was half the point), there was no telling what drugs or poison would do to him. He couldn’t let Vash die. More painfully: he didn’t want Vash to die. Or get hurt. --- In which Wolfwood drinks some poison and experiences feelings, and he'd rather have only the former and not the latter.

To burn out the adrenaline like a wyrm in a sewer pipe. He still hears the gunshots. They won’t leave him alone. --- In which Wolfwood has a trauma episode.
