DSTV Nigeria Payment – Since the advent of digital and satellite television, DSTV which is known as Digital Satellite Television has been at the forefront of serving millions of customers in Africa with an array of packages and interesting channels. It is the most popular and has also been seen as the cheapest especially with the various options for different income earners in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.

The installation of the DSTV is largely done free especially if you have bought a particular package that will always involve decoder and satellite dish installation. DSTV Box Office: access to the latest blockbuster movies. You can rent and download any of the movies you want and keep them for 48 hours. The price of the decoder is at N65, 000 even though some online stores can offer you at cheaper rates.

HD PVR Decoders

This is another type of decoder that offers you other interesting features. HD simply means High-Definition and this comes with clearer pictures and images, quality sounds and more details about what programs you are seeing on your TV. The HD PVR decoders also has the feature of being able to pause live TV, record two programs while you see another one. They are more expensive than other decoder types but you get value for your money at the end of the day.

The Family package costs N3,600 and is regarded as the most popular package seeing that it offers reasonable amount of channels. It has a total of 55 Digital TV Channels. It also has audio channels like BBC, VOA and some other indigenous radio stations. The Installation cost is N17,900 and it does have HD Channels.

The Compact option cost N6,000 with 60 Channels  and all the 24 audio channels. HD Channels are not available.

DSTV Compact Plus cost about N9,420 monthly. It has all the Compact Channels with an addition of two sports channels; SuperSport 7 and 10. It offers sports lover 90 percent of all sport channels.

DSTV Premium package is valued at N13,980. This has all the channels provided and the different features of HD Channels and audio channels. It has 85 exciting channels on it.

Serie A: Italian Serie A rejoins the MultiChoice Family: First Time Ever On GOtv in August!

SuperSport and Serie A have reached an agreement that will see top tier Italian league football return to the World of Champions from the start of the upcoming 2018-19 season, beginning Sunday 19 August 2018.

Speaking after agreeing the deal, Gideon Khobane, SuperSport Chief Executive, said: “We’ve always prided ourselves on offering viewers the best football from around the world and the return of Serie A to our screens fulfils our promise of an unrivalled football offering.”

Gaetano Miccichè, president of Serie A, was similarly enthused: “We are very happy with this agreement as it will allow the SuperSport audience to follow all 380 matches of our league. We are certain that the passionate supporters from Sub-Saharan Africa will appreciate all the stars from Serie A.”

Founded in 1898, and contested by 20 teams, the league is regarded as one of the best football leagues in the world and it is often clouted as the most tactical national league. “MultiChoice Ghana is excited to continue bring customers the best international football. La Liga: Preview of matchday 34 games

“We will give Atletico respect... but not too much respect,” said Nico Williams, who scored the winning goal in the Super Cup. “We will try to win at home and claim three points. Atletico were champions for a reason, but we know we can defeat them.”

Real Madrid, meanwhile, will welcome Espanyol to Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and target another victory in their successful La Liga campaign – though goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has warned his team not to take anything for granted. “To win is very important,” Courtois explained. “We have lacked intensity at times and must make sure we correct this.”

Barcelona will welcome Mallorca to Camp Nou and look to continue the fine form they have shown under manager Xavi, who is urging his charges to keep pushing right until the end of the season. “We won and we enjoyed ourselves,” said the Blaugrana club legend. “The atmosphere was extraordinary. And we’ll keep fighting. We’re going to try. We’re going to try to win all the games.”

Another key clash sees Sevilla host Cadiz at Estadio Ram Sanchez Pizjuan for an Andalusian derby. Los Nervionenses are chasing a top-four finish and have been an excellent team under manager Julen Lopetegui, who recently dismissed links with the Manchester United managerial post for next season.

The pick of Premier League matches for this round sees West Ham United welcome Arsenal to the London Stadium on the evening of Sunday 1 May, as the Hammers look to put a dent in the Gunners’ hopes of finishing in the top four.

One of the driving forces behind West Ham’s fine season has been midfielder Declan Rice, with manager David Moyes emphasising that the England international is not for sale once the season wraps up.

“But the best thing to say is that 'no we've not' [had contact over Rice], and let me tell you, he's not for sale. So, that may shut down any questions about Declan, but we do expect questions on him because he's doing so well,” said Moyes. "Is he irreplaceable? Well, I had to sell Wayne Rooney early when I was at Everton. I thought Wayne was irreplaceable but what happens in football is you move on. That is what happens in football.”

The round opens with a potential thriller between Newcastle United and Liverpool at St. James Park early on Saturday afternoon, while the Reds’ title rivals Manchester City will have to wait until the late kick-off for their clash at Elland Road against Leeds United.

Sunday, aside from the West Ham v Arsenal derby, will also feature Everton hosting Chelsea at Goodison Park. The Toffees manager Frank Lampard will come up against his former team and be desperate for points to keep the Merseyside club away from relegation.

“Everton has a huge history and fan base. At the moment we are working to get through this moment. Myself and the players are giving everything. The fans can know if we keep doing that, we will be okay,” said Lampard.

The round wraps up on the evening of Monday 2 May with Manchester United hosting Brentford at Old Trafford. The Bees will hope rejuvenated midfielder Christian Eriksen continues his wonderful form since returning to top-flight football.

“I never knew how quick it would be to get to this level, but it’s impressive and we’re just pleased and so proud,” said Brentford boss Thomas Frank of his fellow Dane. “You can always give it to Christian and he will find a solution.”

2022 FIFA World Cup: How does the World Cup affect next season’s Premier League schedule?

Qatar 2022 will not only be the first-ever World Cup played in the Middle East, but also the first to be played in the Northern Hemisphere’s winter months of November and December (the tournament has always been held in the summer months of June and July in the past).

SuperSport viewers on DStv and GOtv will be counting down the days to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with the tournament set to run from 21 November to 18 December and provide the most thrilling distillation of ‘The Beautiful Game’.

This means that major European leagues, such as the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A will have to be suspended while the 2022 FIFA World Cup is ongoing, bringing on major changes in their schedule for the 2022-23 season.

The 2022 World Cup begins on November 21st, with the Premier League set to be suspended roughly a week before. Matchday 16 will be the final round of fixtures before the break, with those games falling on the weekend of November 12th and 13th. Then, the call-up period will begin on Monday 14th November, where international managers select their squads.

The season will be adjusted slightly to accommodate the tournament, with the opening day now set to take place on the earlier date of August 6th.

The 2022 World Cup final will take place on Sunday 18th December 2022, and there won’t be much time for Premier League players to recover, as Boxing Day, December 26th, marks the resumption of the 2022-23 season.

Due to the aforementioned adjustment, the Premier League campaign will end later than usual on May 28th. Other leagues which run from August to May are expected to follow a similar schedule to the Premier League’s.

The UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League will also have adjusted schedules to accommodate the World Cup. The Champions League, for example, will  complete its qualifying rounds by the end of August, while the group stage will be crammed into the time from 6-7 September until 1-2 November.

The knockout phase of the competition will resume as usual in February 2023 after the World Cup has come and gone, but the final will only be held on 10 June 2023 (with the Conference League’s final on 7 June and the Europa League’s final on 31 May).

The semifinals get underway on Tuesday evening with Manchester City hosting Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium. City have already come through one bruising encounter with a team from the Spanish capital, seeing off Atletico Madrid 1-0 in the quarterfinals, while Real edged Chelsea – ending their reign as European champions – 5-4 on aggregate thanks mainly to the brilliance of Karim Benzema.

Citizens manager Pep Guardiola is looking forward to the challenge. “If we play like we did in the second half [of the second leg against Atletico], we have no chance. If we play like the first leg and in parts of the first half [of the second leg], we can compete... and we’ll have moments to suffer,” said the City boss.

“We didn't give up and we kept believing. We showed huge character [to defeat Chelsea],” said Real’s key midfielder Luka Modric. “This stadium [Santiago Bernabeu] and these fans were very helpful. When we were losing 3-0, they kept supporting us and that gave us another boost to continue believing we could turn this around.”

The second semifinal opens on Wednesday evening at Anfield, as Liverpool – who outgunned Benfica 6-4 on aggregate in a hugely entertaining quarterfinal – come up against ‘giant killers’ Villarreal. The Yellow Submarine took down Bayern Munich 2-1 on aggregate in the quarterfinals, having also ousted Juventus in the previous round, Can they add the Reds to their list of impressive scalps?

“To achieve something, you have to do important things and beat the favourites. That [round of 16] game against Juventus gave us a lot of confidence. In the semifinals, we will try to create circumstances so that we have our chances. Liverpool are a great team. It will be a great semifinal to enjoy,” said Villarreal manager Unai Emery.

“I never take something like this for granted. I’m really, really happy. It’s going to be really, really difficult against Villarreal, but it’s the semifinal of the Champions League – if it wasn’t difficult there would be something wrong,” said Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
