Coordinating Committee for International SCA Standards (CC SCA)
Forum membership recently approved the SCA 4.1 errata produced by the CC SCA. That document can be found here: http://www.wirelessinnovation.org/assets/work_products/Recommendations/winnf-17-r-0021-v1.0.0%20sca%204.1%20errata%20-%20attachment.pdf.
The group also produced a document providing answers to the questions raised in the AFLACMC Open Radio Communication Architecture (ORCA) RFI, which was approved by membership. Spectrum Sharing Committee (SSC)
The SSC is excited to announce a webinar: CBRS Release 1: SAS-SAS and SAS-CBSD Protocols on 23 February 2017, 7am PDT. The webinar will review the SSC’s new protocol specifications for the CBRS band. In January, the SSC announced a WInnForum workshop at IWCE: Building an Ecosystem for the CBRS Band, Thursday, March 30, 2017. The event program has been announced and a video presentation that is not to be missed has been added.

 WInnComm Europe 2017
The call for presentation proposals has closed and the program and registration will be announced shortly. Are you in advanced wireless technologies, as a researcher, product developer or marketer? Join us at WInnComm Europe 2017 with a demonstration of your product. Demonstrations are planned for both days of the conference. The focus topics for the conference and demonstrations are:
SDR Standards and the SCA
Waveform Standards and Interoperability
Spectrum Sharing for DSA and Defense Communications
Electronic Warfare
Demonstrations will be featured throughout the two days of the conference in the plenary room. The earlier you reserve your spot, the earlier we can start promoting your demo! Email your demo abstract no longer than 500 words to [email protected].  Include names of authors and affiliations with country please.

Dates and locations have just been announced for WInnComm 2017! The premier event to connect with technical, business and regulatory leaders and define the future of radio communications will be held 14-16 November 2017 in San Diego, California. More details and a call for contributions will be out shortly.

Spectrum Sharing Committee (SSC)
The SSC has revised their Roadmap (http://www.wirelessinnovation.org/ssc) projecting the publication of the much anticipated Release 1 of the Test and Certification and Specification. Current specifications released can be found here: http://www.wirelessinnovation.org/ssc-public-files.   
In December the FCC granted conditional approval to the seven SAS supplier applicants, all of whom are Forum members. The next step is release of the specification and demonstration of compliance by the organizations granted conditional approval: Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX), Comsearch, a CommScope Company (NASDAQ: COMM), CTIA, Federated Wireless, Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL), Keybridge and Sony (NYSE: SNE). Comsearch, CTIA, Federated Wireless, Google, Keybridge and iPosi also filed to serve as ESC Operators (approval pending). The FCC announced the approval here: https://www.fcc.gov/document/35-ghz-sas-conditional-approval-public-notice. Congratulations to all Forum members involved in this endeavor!
