Raw 3/27/17 Results and Reviews

Undertakers images are mash up into the Raw intro.

Bayley starts the show off. The belt is too big on her, just another example of why she shouldn't be champion. She continuously puts over Wrestlemania. Here comes Queen Charlotte, this is what a real champion looks like. She lets Bayley know that Sasha does not have any respect for their friendship as the CM Punk chants begin. He comes the Bo$$ and declares her friendship is friendship and business is business. Here comes Nia Jax and says their high school drama is pathetic and she will be new champion on Sunday.  And all four women try to tear each other's heads off.

Bayley & Sasha vs Charlotte & Nia

This was an incredible match, Bayley got the hot tag and hit the Bayley to belly suplex on Charlotte for the 123. But it was Nia Jax that looked the best and I could see her wearing gold after Sunday.

Austin Aries vs. Noam Dar w/ Alicia Fox - Another great contest from the Cruiserweight division and I could see Aries and Neville having the show stealing match on Sunday. Foxxy tries to garner the attention of Aries but he’s too much of a veteran for that. Neville also tries to distract Aries but he stares at Neville before applying the Last Chancery for the submission.

Contract signing - Triple H vs. Seth Rollins - Ya these things always go as planned. Triple H is making a ton of demands as the CM Punk chants reprise. And after some boring monologue by Triple H the fun begins. The man who married into the business kicks the table into Rollins bad knee and they booth miss pedigree opportunities then Rollins hits him with the crutch and he retreats.

Over the top rope challenge

Big Show eliminates Jinder Mahal, Bo Dallas and The Shinning Stars then Goldust, R Truth and Curtis Axel try to even the score. Braun Strowman comes out stares at The Andre The Giant Battle Royal Trophy and badgers Big Show from the stage.  

Gallows & Anderson attack Shaemue & Cesaro with a ladder backstage.

Jack Gallagher vs. Neville (Cruiserweight Champ) - Neville declines the prematch handshake and uses his strength to overpower him. Gallagher does work in his Mary Poppins umbrella dive but the Champ lands a superkick and a superplex for the win. 

Roman Reigns is booed terribly on his way down to the ring, you almost have to feel bad for him. If they make him a heel for a year or two he will come back as huge face. Not sure why they continue to for a square peg in a round hole. And here comes The Undertaker, the building was shaking. When this man makes an appearance its a sight to see. Undertaker holds up a microphone and says, “As I was saying, at WrestleMania, you will Rest… In… Peace!” It’s so simple and so over. 

Enzo & Big Cass vs. Gallows & Anderson - Im so sick of Enzo & Cass and I know that will upset some of you but don’t worry, you and the rest of the WWE Universe will be going crazy on Sunday when they win the Tag Team Titles. 

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn - This is a fight from the get go. It doesn't take long for the action to make it outside the ring in this No DQ match. The crowd starts to chant “Trust the process” referencing their hometown 76ers. Then the crowd is chanting for tables but they Zayn delivering DDT on the steel steps instead. After a string of offense Owens goes for the pop up Power Bomb but Zayn gets out and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Here comes Samoa Joe and  then Jericho to even things out. Owens punches Jericho from the apron and gets in the ring. Zayn rolls him up for the win and he’s going to Wrestlemania. 

Former WWE World Champ and UFC Champ Brock Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman make their way into the Wells Fargo Center. The hardcore Philly fans erupt in an “ECW” in honor of the founder in the ring. Heyman goes onto to say that Goldberg will be going to Suplex City on Sunday. Here comes Goldberg and he spears Lesnar off the apron. The crowd goes wild and we will see you on Sunday at Wrestlemania.

*mushy post incoming* I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am to @niajaxwwe for Monday. Her words will stay with me forever. Dealing with a binge eating disorder and anxiety/depression and self esteem issues is something I face daily and something that gets in the way of my dream of becoming a pro wrestler. I told her about all of that on Monday and she was so accepting and really cared about what I was saying and was reassuring me of my beauty and was supportive of my dream. I honestly can’t thank her enough. She’s such a beautiful person inside and out and she’s such a motivation to me. So thank you Nia. I will be getting back in the ring soon and I will try to learn to be more accepting of myself and I’ll make sure to make you damn proud! 💖 #niajax #wwe #wrestling #wwephilly
