my pet peeve is ofmd-wwdits crossover fics where ed and stede are past lives of viago and anton bc viago wouldve been alive at the time- he was turned in the 17th century and ed and stede lived in the 18th

so i came up with two better crossover fic ideas and also hcs to put my mind at ease:

- in the WWDITS series it's revealed that when vampires die they can in fact become ghosts too; what if viago's ghost moved on or never became for some reason or other and reincarnated into blackbeard? additionally, would be funny if they ran into each other and they were like "😦what" and stede was just pleasantly surprised bc "oh theres two of you and one has a sense of style!" and also soulmate-ism, anton reincarnates later, viago sees him, heart eyes, holy shit! its his stede!

- pissing it all down the drain with alternate universes instead, its confusing, its great, a witch makes them meet one another, they gasp, they awe, stede and viago r bffs and cry about modern fashion (but viagos denim jacket is phenomenal), anton and ed have an alpha male off, they arm wrestle, anton wins bc werewolf awesomeness and breaks his arm, ed goes ballistic but in a WHIPPIES way and anton just 😦😦😦

probably got carried away but VIAGO WAS BORN 1632 it was hardly even 1700 when he got turned most likely, ed and stede existed in 1717, u make my head go boom .

And, if I'm remembering right, in the 2014 version, they had to basically beg a guy to do it. Because he felt bad about it! They had to explain it was for a movie and it would just be acting and they knew he wasn't really meaning to say those things to them.

thinking about how in the original What We Do In The Shadows short film in 2005 they didn’t even have to script people calling them fags on the street they just went out and got real life gay bashed for the bit

i think the what we do in the shadows movie crew having watched the lost boys is the funniest thing ever

because i can just imagine them being like "this film has vampires in it, want to see how accurate it is?" and then losing their fucking minds over the special effects used for their vampire forms

and possibly even crying every time a vampire dies in a horrific way

I hope the final scene is laszlo and nadja attacking the filming crew, while nandor and guillermo beat the shit out of each other in the background (for everything they will put each other thru this season, equally deserved tbh)

i would be absolutely shocked if nandermo actually did happen. i dont think it will, i dont think they will ever kiss or make a move. i think theyll leave it in limbo forever. i think the show will end with guillermo finally leaving for good. nandor will try to make him stay but it wont work, he’s already making plans to move somewhere else and packing his things and in the foyer of the house, a slight acknowledgment from them both. nandor asking quietly, “it was real, wasnt it?” and guillermo will smile and say yes. it was real. but guillermo will go and life will move on and maybe even at the very end we will meet nandors new familiar who moves into the space under the stairs and makes a comment about how shitty the space is and nandor will say yea. it’ll grow on you though.
