I love how much of a different story rinascita feels like compared to jinzhou idk how exactly to describe it but it goes from being like

"oh man where am I and why is this peoples god being attacked by some weirdos in cute almost team rocket like uniform uniformity"

To

"man I really don't trust this religious order sending literal children away to the sea and the god supposedly is talking to the high priest but man I could sure go for some theatrics right now"

It feels fresh and new compared to the previous story yet still the same game

I'm not really very outspoken or good at sharing OCs for a new fandom, but the rinascita storyline got into my brain and gave me worms, so I kinda made a wuwa oc? I heard Tumblr is more nice for those and I am very anxious about this. I think this got too long so I'm putting in a read more so I don't clog any tags

This is Chiara or Cecilia, I haven't picked yet but my first list of potential names was way longer so between two is an improvement.

She's a member of the fisalia family, unfortunately her closest relatives are the ones deep in the bad reputation of the fisalia family, Including the story stuff revealed at the end of the rinascita storyline so far, unfortunately for her she does not agree, fortunately for her carnevale went off without a hitch for the first time in a decade and that piece of freedom she experienced was everything to her, she went from reflecting what her family wanted her to stand for to reflecting her own desires and wishes

I couldn't find a picrew that let you make a mask that actually fit carnevale or my ideas for her mask, so just pretend she has one, she is a resonator and her forte is mirror based! I'm still learning the lingo I hope that's the right word? The butterfly wings are supposed to look like shattered glass, she can create copies of herself that act as reflections and shatter once they are damaged/touched or when she calls for them to break, the frequency she resonates with is mirrors basically, I have a lot of thoughts about how she attacks and her different looks (fisalia family wear and how she truly wants to dress) but I don't wanna ramble too much, I have a problem with that where I just end up going on and on with no end in sight, so uh I hope if you read this far that you like her concept? things i firmly believe brant from wuthering waves would do with/to his potential S/O. writing this because there are next to none fanfics of him S/O is technically the reader and will be gender neutral

Brant who would always be a gentleman to his S/O

Brant who would cover his S/O's eyes with his hand anytime any sort of gruesome or bloody event happens to make sure they wouldn't see it.

brant who would use the excuse that they don't have heating on that ship of his so that he could get his S/O to sleep on his chest, something about 'sharing body heat'

brant who would princess carry his S/O whenever they're slightly hurt or tired.

brant who wouldn't let his S/O downplay or hide an injury, making sure they get the proper medical care and attention

brant who when drunk would lift his S/O up by there armpits like in the lion king and proudly announce to anyone and everyone that this is the love of is life.

brant who wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice himself for his S/O

Roccia is just so pretty??? Like really adorable, I love the cloud like thingy on her skirt and just her overall design is so cute (if anyone cares roccia just means rock in italian, nothing too special lol)

My man Brant. That's a pirate. And a pirate is automatically a slut in my eyes. In the best way possible. But ngl it'd be fun to see him as a more serious character. (also he's the one who was leaked as Bulante... I have a whole separate linguistic ramble about his name and how the two are basically the same name lol)

And finally my girl Phoebe. I have nothing to say other than SHE'S SO PRETTY??? Like if I'm in love with Carlotta I won't deny a crush on this girl really how is she so pretty???

Finally finally (I think unless I think about some other ramble) it looks from the small bits of Rinascita we saw from the trailer that there are some TDs that people live alongside?? Like those birds like thingy looked like they had tacet marks on them and no one seemed worried about them, like idk seagulls (I don't like seagulls when I was 3 visiting Venice with my parents a seagull stole half my sandwich) but yeah it'd be interesting to see some kind of non aggressive TDs, it would open up some research path or something

Waaaah can't wait for more lore why do we have to wait so long???
