Mass Effect ending thoughts below (I'm not putting under read all for spoilers as the game ended 11 years ago :V)

As soon as the sequence started it felt to me at least obvious what was going on...

The Citadel resembled, in my opinion, the pulsating Geth ship, mixed with the insides of the dead Reaper from ME2, a design element that points at histories of indoctrination :V To me it hinted that what we were about to experience would not be reliable.

Even if I am wrong, the design of the Citadel did feel dreamlike and not like the Citadel at all. I legit thought we were going to have an Interstellar kind of ending LOL

Anderson and TIM being in the Citadel made nooooo sense at all.

Indoctrination in general was a prevalent theme throughout ME, and Reapers were interested at controlling strong willed individuals with great influence. Saren and TIM were both very strong personalities, so saying that Shepard is immune to this is in my opinion very wrong...

The choice of the Catalyst taking the appearance of the child is obviously a manipulative tactic, so Shepard would take its biased opinions towards the three choices more seriously.

Shep died in ME2 by following real life rules of nature being exposed to space and having a fracture in her oxygen supply. There's no way she would have survived a Citadel explosion + Earth landing 😭

FINALLY: The entire point of the trilogy is to Destroy the Reapers, no matter the cost. The fact that the point changes merely in the final sequence is a hint that Shepard is being manipulated, as any other choice seems to serve none other than Synthetic life, admitting itself as a parasitic entity...

I have a lot of opinions about this but I enjoyed this trilogy so much c: I watched the indoctrination theory video which was 1:30 hours long :V and although I don't agree with all points and I would have said some things differently, I was mostly nodding my head hehe
