I do think Idaho is Mormon too, but it's not part of his personality like it is for Utah, y'know?

Like Utah can't not be Mormon without changing part of his personality, Idaho is just a guy who happened to grow up Mormon and still is because he's too lazy to change habits and also "Well Lucina is real devout still, and the kids like to go to church because their friends do so"

does shit like,, when I was younger we weren't allowed to tell people at church we went to movie theaters. Idaho in the car on the way to church drinking coffee and being like;

"If it comes up dad does not drink coffee"

"you want us to lie?"

"No i just want you to not say anything. it's different"

smth smth pondering the drama of Ilithyia and Lucina's deaths affecting Utah and Idaho's faith in entirely different ways. Ilithyia dies and Utah starts questioning if God exists and if he does why would he let him fall in love just to lose her. Lucina dies and Idaho becomes more devout than he's ever been, she was and maybe if he can makeup for all the mistakes in the past he can see her again some day, he can't believe there's nothing after because he has to see her again.

my goal is to make Illithiya & Lucina (Idaho's wife) have such clashing personalities that under any other circumstances they would have hated each other. But despite it all they are best friends bc the circumstances they met under are so extremely specific no one else could understand.

spent a week trying to decide what to name Idaho's wife bc she's literally mentioned once in a bit that didn't even make it into an actual video but she needs a name if I'm going to try to make her an actual character.

spent literally an hour on name generators/baby name websites and couldn't find anything I liked then I remembered a post about how Illithyia is a greek goddess so I just typed in "Illithyia roman equivalent" and Lucina is what came up and I actually like that AND I think it's funny. So Idaho's wife's name is Lucina now.
