Annica's Grand Ball Outfit Yes I am aware this is delayed but I wanted to post it.

Greetings! Admin Diamonds here with just a couple updates on our Earthquake situation. First of all, this all begs the question: what now? What happens after the earthquake? Is the town damaged? Are people injured? Will there be lasting scars left by this disaster?

The answer is yes to all. The town is damaged, though nothing but the Ballroom was destroyed. Power lines are down. Car batteries probably died after hours of their alarms going off. Electricity won't be turned back on for a couple of days. And besides that, the Hospital will overwhelmed by patients suffering from anything from scrapes to electrical burns to broken bones. 

Though the town appears to be relatively unscathed, a lot can happen to a person while they're trapped in the dark. Fears come to the surface, priorities are rearranged. Some may suffer from new found claustrophobia. Some may realize that life is too short, and they need to tell someone special how they really feel.

So how do we do this? That's up to you guys. Plot, plot, plot! We all need to hammer out the plotting for our threads and figure out basic things like where they are, how long it is going to take to get out (or be found, your choice), and if there are any injuries to report.

Your new threads can take place whenever your character has a chance to interact with someone outside of their partner, spanning from immediately after the quake to days after. Just remember that the disaster affected everybody, and you need to include that in your interactions, even if your original thread hasn't finished. Continuity is key!

The Selfless And The Selfish || Earthquake/Grandball || Annica & Hanson

It was stupid when he thought back on it. Taking interest in a woman with a family as large as hers. It had been one thing he'd learnt from the fiasco with Anna and Elisa. Sisters were trouble. Not to mention psychotic. And Annica? Six sisters. Six too many for his taste.

Perhaps that was why he'd taken an interest in the first place. It had been a long time since he'd bonded with someone beyond sexual or materialistic desires.

Bonded? He really was going soft.

Still, he'd asked her, and even if logic dictated there was no possible gain from it, he had still been happy when she said yes.

Hanson stood outside her door, checking the number once more before knocking. He held a box of chocolates in his hand. Tacky, he knew, but chocolates were a 'passion' of both of theirs. And, well, he had a suspicion Annica would enjoy the seashell shaped Guylian Belgian chocolates.

Cyril had never been one for big social events. He wasn't tolerant enough of people to be. The man had always been aggressive, though he never got into a fight without a valid reason, despite being known for throwing the first punch if someone bothered him enough. But in an event this big, with the whole town there, he had to be on his best behavior. The last thing he wanted was to cause more trouble for the Trinity brothers.

He'd made himself a wallflower for most of the night, keeping some kind of beverage in his hand, to distract him from the urge to punch an idiot every so often. It hadn't been too hard, half the town didn't know him, and the majority of the rest was afraid of him. But after a while, he grew bored with waiting for his brothers to tire so they could go home, and he turned to the person next to him, "It's a good thing we don't have these often..."

Chelsea hadn't been to a dance of any sort since she was in highschool. She usually never bothered. Sitting on the sidelines got old after a while. But she felt like going out tonight. So she'd put on her best dress and headed out. As she entered the ball room her eyes went wide and she smiled. "Wow, this place is spiffy, huh!?"

What was that???? It sounded strange... Almost like an earthquake.... Something groaned. The building? It couldn't be!  Could it? The building Shook.               It was harder this time.... and it didn't stop right away....

CRASH!!!!! 

Something shattered. Something crumbled. The building was falling all around you. You could see your friends backing away from falling debris. The building clearly wasn't sturdy enough. It was old and it was falling. You ran, trying to get away from the main ballroom, which was falling apart. But the main exit was blocked. Were there others?  You weren't sure.

But then it stopped. The dust settled on your formal wear, and you looked around, it seemed safe. Unsure of what had happened in the midst of the commotion, some of you had lost your party. The one, or ones you'd come with.... now you're trapped with strangers. Others are trapped with friends... but... there's a lot of stress and tempers are flaring, emotions are running wild.... What ever will you do?

You try your phone but the service was never the best since you entered the building and it seems with the power flickering and the town in chaos that it's completely dead. If your battery lasts all it might be good for is a flash light, it is pretty dark...

That's right everyone!! An earthquake has struck the little town of Storybrooke. The ballroom has been destroyed and the civilians of this little town are stuck in the grand ball room, or maybe some escaped but cell service is out...

You will be randomly paired with someone, and your characters must fight out of the building, or keep one another occupied while waiting for help.

You must finish the thread, the only way it would be accepted if you didn't is if your partner leaves. Maybe even then we can work something out.

You also must tag threads with  wtscearthquake  any threads not included in this tag will not be counted.

Injuries are fine, anything extensive will need to be cleared by the admins, and your partner.

"Oh this such a beautiful place, don't you think? The perfect setting for a ball! Who knew such a small town had such a grand room!" Accent rather obvious with her excitement but she'd only ever been in something quiet so beautiful in her travels. Her home didn't have this, and she hadn't expected to find it here. But it was a very pleasant surprise.

No Paint. No pain specks, splotches or any hints of Bria's natural state. She was cleaned up to a point of squeaky clean and frankly had no idea what to do with herself. She was all dressed up. In an actual dress, no paint and no mess. She didn't even have access to her paints for the evening. She was feel rather awkward. 

"Hey- you don't know who did the decorations do you? They're amazing." It was small talk so she wasn't just standing around but she was curious too, she could hire them for a future showing of her art.

Lani was observing, her usual habit no matter where she was. She liked to know things, and since she wasn't linked to the present like her sister was, she had to observe to see them happening. The past? No problem. The present however frustrated her at times. But she got over it. And currently felt more confident than usual even. So, she turned to someone nearby and grinned. "The little black dress will never go out of style, right?"
