MANHWA REC LIST PART 2
WAR OF THE PRINCESSES
i finished catching up to this like 2 minutes ago [EDIT: WROTE THAT THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAYM NOW ITS 2 DAYS AGO] and i genuinely really liked this. for a manhua its amazing!! the plot is unique and keeps you guessing, the characters are entertaining and NOT cookie cutter cutouts of isekai tropes, theres been some interesting reveals and a lot of people in the comments were hating on ml but personally i found him super fun; hes very morally grey n has definite flaws but thats what makes him a good character to read about !! not to mention the main character herself is great. i hate that my bar for good manhwa/hwa characters has gone down to 'has more than 2 personality traits' but she is leaping over it for sure
PLEASE REPENT, YOUR GRACE!
i dont read yaoi i dont read bl. i have never ever read it . however the vibes were so strong that i had to go back and check the tags because.. if you read it... you will see. its so strong. it radiates. (all that aside i really like the relationship btn the mains i think its really fun. they may not be gay (????🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔) but its still highly enjoyable i love it)
THE BABY SAINT WANTS TO DESTROY THE WORLD!
ive read 2 chapters but i just think the 'evil character reincarmates into the pinnacle of goodness' trope is the funniest thing in the world. i have no clue if its going to be a generic collect the characters take over the world type of thing but i just think its funny and its the newest one ive read.
IT SEEMS I'VE TRANSMIGRATED SOMEWHERE
i have been waiting for aomethinf like this for SO LONG hahah the main character is so diddly darn confused the entire time cus in her past life shes read too much rofan etc and now cant figure out what novel shes trandmigrated into. regular manhwa reader fr,, anyway theres a strong case for second hand embarrassment in this one, especially in the first few chapters or so, but i genuinely really like this just cus its so self aware, it keeps poking fun at all the tropes and its a nice lighthearted read. also theres a decent amount of plot despite it all and OH I ALMOST FORGOT the male lead is an absolute 10 personalitywise i genuinely love him. hes here for drama and thats it its amazing. so yea id say tropey but Well Written super fun 👍👍👍
HIDING THE ARCHDUKE'S HUMILIATING HISTORY
i think this is the first manhwa ive read where the ml pisses himself in fear the first time he meets fl (theyre both children)(hes scared of something else not fl but still). anyway its nothing particularly unique but its pretty fun! its one of those novel isekai where mc reincarnates into a little kid and the structure makes it a sandwich which has been keeping me very invested. this isnt a very good advertisment but its a good way to pass the time i think. heres a nice reaction pic
SUSU, HAN
oh my god??? just binged this whole thign in one go. first of all ots complete, second of all i guess you can say tjis is a character study in manhwa form. there isnt a particular overarching antagomist, its the characters learning to grow and face their own personal issues. but its also a slice of life, and lighthearted family drama, and comedy. its not a rofan this time lol. also the sibling relationships in susu, han are so good !! and theres so many lovely platonic relationships too. i really really enjoyed it.
THE TALE OF GOLDILUCK, THE BLACK KITTEN
WHOLESOME !!! WHOLESOME WHOLESOME WHOLESOME absolutely adorable, centres around a black cat that gets adopted by a young noble in ancient? old? korea. so so cite, read to soothe your heart
olay ive hit the image limit again. would yall like more

🐌: btw i read a fic last night and as much as i think it's not too bad from my own writer's standpoint, as a reader it just solidifies my distaste for fics about an mlm ship that uses a woman as fodder for angst,, like this is just a different flavour of those bl fans that hate the female characters that "get in the way" of their ship... if you get what i mean?? i know that i wrote something similar in my tangbo x reader fic where he leaves reader for chung myung but i try to write that reader character as someone that can stand on her own narratively instead of some extra rando oc that's used to elevate a male character's personal issues or whatever... idk how to articulate my problems with that troupe but i just feel that it's never written with the care that it should... maybe i just have a thing against people writing female canon/original characters to be flat and uninteresting people with no other purpose then to highlight the male mc's narrative or something like that... all this makes me want to write a tang soso comphet fic.... but i have so many wips already,,,,TTTTT
YUPP i get it.. it reminds me of those complaints on twt a while ago where ppl were complaining about the lack of f/f compared to m/m in fandom and someone said if u want to see more f/f then write it urself… like yeah okay ill just solve the problem of internalized misogyny and hatred of women in fan spaces all by myself..completely missing the bigger picture that is the issue of people as a collective just hate women and will not make an effort to sympathize or relate to fully fleshed fictional women like they do with white bread fictional men

Just a confession to make. There aren't many Ennead fics, most of them being a Seth x reader and I really wanna read a canon divergent au where instead of Seth, Horus falls in love with reader. 😩
I mean, can't complain, Seth is pretty. And we wanna comfort the pretty people.
In all honesty, if I were to write a book, it would also be about Seth, but Horus as well.
There is a book that did catch my interest on Wattpad. It's written by trueviolet2002 and they wrote "Ennead || Unseen". I highly reccomend it.
It's very unique in comparison to other Ennead x reader/oc books.
Their work really inspired me and made me think of different concepts, and I reeeally hope to get a good motivation to make a Fanfic where it remains toxic and I hope to have it where the MC is AroAce similarly to the first reincarnation of the MC in Unseen.
But it's hard to wrap around the setting as it's already set in Egypt, and it'll either be reincarnation, system or was born at the time (non-isekai).
But yeah, I think majority of the reason why there aren't a lot of fanfics, is because it's BL. And a looot of people either don't like BL becoming straight (if going for female mc) and/or changes to the story where there are changes from just inserting a non-canon character. But that's my thought.

Story below the cut
Changbin was a constant presence in your life. He’d been friends with your brother, Chan, for ages and he was always visiting. It was a surprise he even knocked, your parents adored him and probably wouldn’t have thought twice if he just walked in like that one fish from SpongeBob. Now, with you and Chan sharing an apartment while you’re in college, Changbin didn’t have a key, which kind of surprised you since he practically lived there with the both of you.
He was a couple years younger than Chan and a couple years older than you. He was really quite the dork and you loved that about him. In stark contrast with his almost untouchable appearance, he was just weird. Not that mouth-breather brand of weird, just that goofy, loud brand. Sometimes his laugh was funnier than the joke, which always ended with you and Chan searching for an inhaler.
He was also undeniably hot and you couldn’t help but stare from time to time. He’d beefed up in the last couple years and he was no longer a skinny kid with a pointy chin. The man was short and thick. Sometimes you wondered what it would feel like to sit on his muscular thighs. Or to have his strong arms wrapped around you. Your sexuality was buff men in tight tees that showed off the inside of their upper arm with they raised their arms and your mouth had watered more than a few times seeing Changbin lounging around your home.
Basically, he was the ideal man. He was beautiful and a joy to be around and your family already loved him. The hangup? Chan had gone into protective big brother mode the second he discovered Changbin liked you and made it clear you were off limits. You didn’t know this though and you constantly felt like Changbin was giving you mixed signals. You craved his attention and sometimes he’d indulge you but other times he’d completely blow you off and it honestly hurt.
So your friends, who’d noticed you’d been a bit bummed recently, decided you needed to get out and meet someone. They’d invited you to the club in the hopes that you’d find some hot stranger to go home with. “After all,” they’d said. “The best way to get over a man is to get under another.”
So there you sat, alone in a cramped bar, some shitty edm track blaring over the speakers. The stench of sweat and stale beer permeated the air and you found yourself breathing through your mouth. The only thing that interested you at the moment was the round of kamikaze shots you’d ordered after your friends disappeared into the crowd upon seeing a group of guys they knew. They’d said to join them once you had your drinks but you didn’t intend to. You planned to toss back the six shots on the bar in front of you and people-watch.
You’d made it through four shots when you felt a hand on your waist. You looked over your shoulder to find a man maybe four years older than your brother, something about the way his gaze raked over you leaving an unsettling feeling in the pit of your stomach. He was tall and lanky, sporting some hipster flannel and a greasy black mop of hair. He had enough stubble to look unkempt instead of having the five o’clock shadow look you were sure he was going for. He was creepy. “Can I help you?”
You hated just how soft your voice sounded. You’d never been good at being firm with people, much to your dismay, and it seemed tonight would not be the night that changed. “Hey, baby. Saw you sitting here looking pretty all on your own. Thought I’d come over and have a drink with you.”
Alarm bells started sounding in your head and you gave an uneasy smile as you shook your head. “No, thank you, I’m about to join my friends.” You laughed nervously, turning back towards the bar, where the bartender had placed a napkin over your drinks. You flashed her a thankful expression as you moved to pick up your fifth shot.
“Oh, come on, baby, I’m not gonna bite.” His arms snaked around your waist and you instantly tried to push him away but to no avail. “Unless you want me to…” you quickly shook your head again as you desperately tried to remove his hands from where they’d wandered to your thighs. “I bet I can make you feel real good, baby. You’re already squirming. Whaddaya say we head back to my place?”
You felt a wave of panic wash over you as you tried to wrench his hands away, shaking your head violently. It was dark in the club, save for the flashing of the strobe lights, so no one could really see what was going on. Was he about to kidnap you? As soon as the thought crossed your mind, you felt yourself jerked back slightly as his grip on you vanished and you almost fell off the barstool where you were perched.
You couldn’t hear anything over the music and you couldn’t bring yourself to look back just yet. When you did finally pluck up the courage to look over your shoulder again, you were met with broad shoulders blocking your view of the rest of the room, rising and falling with visibly labored breaths. You weren’t sure who the man was but you felt a lot safer with him between you and that creep so you craned your neck up a bit to peek over the shoulder of your hero and saw the lanky man on the floor with a bloody nose.
Security was breaking through the crowd and you watched as they hauled both men out of the establishment. But you needed to know who your hero was so you chased after them as fast as your stilettos would allow, gasping for the umpteenth time that night as the cold air whipped around your legs the second you stepped outside. It was almost freezing out and you were in your skimpiest number, a black bodycon dress and a baby pink fur coat. Not the brightest idea given it was early November.
You noticed the lanky man already making a break for it as the security guards returned to their post at the door. Your hero’s back was still to you but under the light of a street lamp, you quickly recognized the broad shoulders and small stature. “Changbin?” Your brows furrowed as you stepped closer.
He turned to you with murderous eyes and you froze in your tracks. But his expression softened as he walked towards you and placed his hands on your shoulders. “Y/N…” he sighed as he looked you over. You weren’t sure if you were trembling from the temperature, the scare you’d just had, or the way his eyes took all of you in. “Are you okay?” He asked gently as his gaze locked back on yours.
“Physically.” You nodded and bit your lip as the reality of what could’ve happened had he not stepped in began to hit. You felt like your legs were about to give so you surged forward into his arms, holding onto him for dear life as you tried not to cry. He was stiff at first but quickly wrapped his arms around you, holding you to his chest.
“It’s okay. I’ve got you.” He assured you, his large hands rubbing your back and smoothing your hair down. You took a steadying breath but didn’t step away, still not sure if you were about to break down or not. “Do you wanna leave?” You nodded instantly and let out a pathetic whimper. “I’m parked right around the corner. Do you wanna wait here while I get the car or walk with me?”
You slowly pulled away from him and patted your coat pockets, realizing you left your phone and keys at the bar. “I need to go back in for my things and tell my friends where I’m going.” You murmured as you tried again to swallow the lump in your throat. You flashed him a smile despite your current state and gently pushed him. “Go get the car. I’ll be here when you pull up.”
You could clearly see he was hesitant to leave you but he still did as you asked and you waited until he disappeared around the corner before heading back to the door. Security stepped aside to let you back in after you explained you just needed your things and you made a break for the bar. You felt panic rise once more when you didn’t see your drinks or your belongings where you’d left them but the woman behind the bar caught your attention. You walked to where she was and she held out your keys and phone. “I looked up and you were gone so I put your stuff back here. Was that your boyfriend?” When you shook your head, she gave you a concerned look while you pocketed your things. “You okay? Do you need a ride?”
“No, it’s okay. I’ve got one. Thank you, though.” You offered a small smile and she nodded before getting back to work, rolling her eyes as a customer whistled for her. You quickly turned to the crowd on the dance floor and scanned the area for your friends. Once you spotted them, you pushed your way through sweaty bodies that swayed violently to the beat. You explained yourself and you didn’t miss the exasperated look you received from your best friend when she heard who was taking you home. Then you were back out the door and waiting on the bench for Changbin to pull up.
You were shaking like a chihuahua in a blizzard by the time you saw his car and you pouted a little as you stood but he threw on his hazards and met you halfway. “God, you’re gonna get yourself sick like this, y/n.” He shook his head as he opened the car door and helped you in before draping his coat over your bare thighs. You looked down sheepishly and mumbled a small thanks as you buckled yourself in and slipped your heels off. He rounded the car and a moment later he was pulling off from the curb. “The seats are heated. Push that button.” He instructed as if you’d never been in his car before. To be fair, you’d never been in the front seat.
After a few minutes of silence while you tried to calm yourself down again, you looked over at him as you brought your knees up to your chest. His knuckles were bruised, you noticed as you took in the way he gripped the steering wheel. You let your eyes take everything in, not missing the way his jaw ticked with annoyance. Had you annoyed him? You felt like you were annoying him. You should’ve called a cab. Your arms wrapped around your legs and you quickly turned back to rest your forehead on your knees, breathing in his comforting scent that wafted from the jacket covering your legs. “Thank you…” your voice was almost a whisper and it was a surprise to you that it could be heard over the sound of the wind rushing around the car.
“What kind of friend would I be if I didn’t protect my best friend’s kid sister?” He said nonchalantly and your heart ached. His best friend’s kid sister. The reminder that that’s all you were to him kind of really stung. How silly of you to think you were anything more to him. Of course, you were, you just didn’t know it.
He absolutely adored you and he didn’t just jump in because his best friend just so happened to be your big brother. His jaw had tensed when he saw you with another man but when he realized you were uncomfortable with the interaction, his blood boiled. Yes, you were his best friend’s sister. But you were also the girl he’d liked for two years now. He couldn’t just watch as you were harassed.
The drive to his apartment was short but you appreciated the brevity. If it had been much longer, you would’ve combusted from the awkward tension in the vehicle. Changbin’s apartment was a two-bed townhouse connected to a three-bed unit and it had assigned parking right out front. You also appreciated this because the walk to the door was only a few yards.
You let out a soft sigh as he parked, unbuckling and reaching down to pull your shoes back on. He noticed your reluctance to put on the uncomfortable heels and chuckled softly. “If it weren’t for the dress, I’d give you a piggyback ride, little miss pouty.”
Your cheeks heated up and you shook your head. “It’s fine. And I’m not pouting.” You quickly stuck your tongue out at him before finishing with your shoes. “Let’s go. I’m already getting cold again.” You mumbled as he shut off the car.
You both got out and you handed him his coat when you met in front of the sleek black car before heading up to his door. You found yourself huddling close to him as he unlocked the door, your body gladly absorbing the heat pouring off him. As soon as you stepped inside, you took your shoes back off and reached your arms above your head, stretching out every muscle you’d bunched up in his car. Your limbs ached from the adrenaline rush and you let out a little whine but before you could ask for any painkillers, he was taking off into the unit.
He took off like a shot when you stretched yourself out, forcing his eyes towards the ground. Your dress was short and he kind of really liked your legs. He knew he’d pop a boner if he stuck around any longer so he busied himself with gathering some things for you. Your soft whine only made his heart thud louder.
You watched as he entered the kitchenette and filled a glass with water before grabbing the bottle of painkillers. He brought that to you and before you could thank him he headed to his room. You trailed after him, standing in his doorway as he pulled out a pair of sweats and one of his compression shirts. “Go put these on and drink that water. I’ll fix up the guest room.” You nodded at his instruction and walked through his room to the bathroom, leaving the water on his desk.
The bathroom opened both to his room and the hallway since it was the only one in the unit so you made sure to lock both doors, not that he’d peep on you anyways. You quickly shucked off your coat and hung it on a hook on the door before slipping your dress off. You felt like a schoolgirl again at the realization that you were about to be swamped by his clothes. This led you to eagerly dress yourself in the soft joggers and comfy shirt.
You were surprised at how well everything fit. The pants were a little too long so you pulled them up as high as possible and rolled the waistband until they hung low on your hips. The shirt managed to conform to your body despite Changbin being larger than you and you couldn’t help but admire how the tight top looked on you. You’d never thought yourself to be anymore than a seven but you were aware you were relatively attractive so you knew how to appreciate the way certain things fit. You’d put that dress on for the sole purpose of admiring yourself. How unfortunate that it garnered unwanted attention.
When you came out of the bathroom with your clothes in your hands, Changbin was lounging on his bed with one hand behind his head while the other scrolled on his phone. The view made you dizzy. “I fixed the guest room up for you. There’s a charger in there and everything. Go get some rest and I’ll take you home in the morning. I’ve already talked to Chan.”
You appreciated how he was taking control of the situation without teasing you. You weren’t in the right frame of mind to handle the playful bickering tonight. “Thank you, Binnie…” you said softly and picked up the water before heading off to the guest room.
————————————
Two hours later, you were still wide awake in Changbin’s guest bedroom. You’d heard him settle in shortly after you left his room and now his soft snores were ever-so-quietly serenading you through the thin wall that separated the two of you. If your mind hadn’t tricked you, you were currently head to head with him through the wall and that thought wasn’t helping you fall asleep any faster.
Finally you let out a frustrated huff and crawled out of bed. It was too quiet here and after everything that had happened, you needed to be reassured you were safe. So you left the guest room and snuck your way into his room, rubbing your sleepy eyes as you closed the door gently. You padded over to where he was fast asleep and took a moment to appreciate his sleeping form as the moonbeams cast a soft glow over his tan skin. He wasn’t wearing a shirt and that almost scared you back to the guest room but you doubted you would sleep at all either way so you decided to make yourself comfortable.
He stirred as you joined him in bed, gently forcing your way into his arms. You froze halfway when his movements made it seem like he was awake, his soft snores coming to a halt. You told yourself you were doing this because you were afraid but you knew that was only part of it. He was warm and inviting as you wrapped yourself in his arms.
Changbin’s eyes opened halfway and you wouldn’t have known he was actually awake had he not let out a small hum and pulled back to look at you. “You okay?” His voice was deep and laced with sleep and your heart skipped a beat as he pushed a stray lock of hair away from your face. You didn’t respond, just giving him your best doe-eyed expression. He seemed to understand and nodded, pulling you into him. “I’ve got you. Nothing can happen to you here.” He whispered as you tucked your head under his chin.
He was mentally kicking himself for not putting on a shirt to sleep since you were in the house but he couldn’t have known you’d come curl up in his bed. He could only pray you didn’t notice the way his heart raced as your warm breath fanned over his bare chest. He wasn’t sure if he’d survive having you in his bed. He’d thought about it more than a few times, for sure, but the fact that you were currently wrapped in his arms, pressing against his body was making his brain short circuit. His thoughts were racing just as fast as his heart but he was pulled back to reality when he heard your tiny voice.
“Binnie?” You called quietly, your gaze refusing to leave his chest as you picked at the skin around your thumbnails. When he let out a hum of acknowledgement, which sounded more like a grunt, you continued. “Thank you for coming to my rescue. And I’m sorry you got hurt because of me. I know you only stepped in because Channie would tear you a new one if you saw his baby sister getting harassed and didn’t help, but I really appreciate it. I don’t wanna think what would’ve happened if you hadn’t stepped in to play hero when you did. Especially if his wandering hands were anything to go by…” you shuddered as the sensation of the spindly fingers caressing your thighs made itself present in your memories again.
“Don’t.” His voice was barely above as whisper as his fingers tangled in your hair. “I can feel you getting tense, y/n. Don’t think about what he did.” His free arm draped itself over your waist, pulling you as close as he could get you as you fought back the urge to cry. “Yeah, I saved you cause you’re Chan’s sister, but not because he would’ve beat my ass if he found out I saw and did nothing. I couldn’t have just sat back and watched even if I wanted to. We’ve known each other for years, you’re a precious person to me. Just as much as your brother. Yeah, he probably would’ve beat me up if something had happened, but I would’ve beat myself up worse. I couldn’t watch you struggling against him anymore.”
You let out a soft sigh, your eyes drooping as he massaged your scalp. You felt the tension leaving your body and it seemed he noticed this too because he let out a soft chuckle. “You like having your hair played with, pumpkin?” The name made you smile to yourself and you nodded, letting out a small sound of appreciation. With this knowledge, he began to lull you to sleep.
————————————
The next morning, you woke up alone in Changbin’s bed, the sunlight pouring into the room making the sheets an unbearably warm cocoon. You quickly flipped the sheets off your body and let out a sigh as cool air wrapped around you. You didn’t like that you were alone but you couldn’t have expected him to stay. You stood from the bed, wincing at the dull ache in your skull as you made your way to the guest room to grab your phone.
You thought you were entirely alone until you heard the faucet turn on in the kitchen. You felt giddy as you retrieved your phone from the nightstand in the guest room and headed towards the kitchen. His back was to you as he rinsed off the pan he’d just used to make breakfast and you almost pouted when you saw he’d put on a black wifebeater. He looked good in it, no doubt, but you wanted to admire his shirtless form again.
He could feel your eyes on him and he smiled to himself as he put the pan in the dishwasher. He turned to you with a soft sigh and picked up the two plates he’d assembled, joining you at the breakfast bar. “How are you feeling?” He asked quietly as the two of you began to eat.
He didn’t strike you as the type to make elaborate meals but you certainly weren’t complaining as you munched happily on the omelette he’d placed in front of you. “My head kinda hurts but I’m okay. Less shaken up than last night.” You sighed and took a sip of the coffee he’d placed before you. “I know I keep saying this, but thank you. I really thought you’d just drop me off at home for Chan to take care of me but you took it upon yourself to care for me.” He shook his head and was about to speak but you flashed a small smile. “I’ll have to get into trouble more often if it means you’ll cook for me.”
Your teasing tone drew a soft laugh from him and he nudged you with his elbow, shaking his head. “Don’t get yourself into trouble just for my food. I’ll cook for you anytime.” You lit up at that and he rolled his eyes. “Using me for my food…” he grumbled in mock annoyance, drawing a soft giggle from you.
After several minutes of comfortable silence as you texted your friends, all of whom had forgotten where you said you were going and had blown up your phone all morning, you looked over at him. “You said you talked to Chan while I was changing right?” He nodded and you let out a hum of acknowledgement as you turned back to your nearly-empty plate. “Just wondering since he usually texts me a billion times if I don’t come home before four. Did…does he know what exactly happened?“
“I told him.” He says before wiping his mouth with a napkin and dropping it on his empty plate. “I told him how my friends had just left and I was about to head out when I saw you at the bar. Honestly, I thought you were gonna go home with that guy until I saw you trying to push him away. When I realized you needed help, I decked the son of a bitch.” He sighed and pushed his hair back with rough hands, telling himself to calm down. He was hoping you didn’t catch on to the fact he was watching you after he realized it was you. “I told Chan all of that and that I was taking you back to mine so you could get some rest and that I’d take you home in the morning. He wanted you to come home last night after he heard everything but I told him I’d take care of you since he had to be up for work this morning. He wasn’t happy.”
You nodded slightly and sat in uncomfortable silence with him for a moment before getting up and taking both your plates over to the sink. “He’s never happy when a guy wants to do something nice for me. But he’s also never happy when guys treat me poorly. He needs to make up his mind.” You rolled your eyes. You knew he meant well, but your big brother scared off every man who’d ever tried to get close to you.
“I can see why he wouldn’t want just anyone getting close though.” He hummed. “I mean, even though I’m younger, I’m still protective over my sister. I love her and I don’t want anyone to hurt her so I feel like I have to screen every guy she meets.” He shrugged as you turned back towards him. “I can only imagine he feels even more strongly about it with you since you’re his baby sister and you look like that.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” You made a face of confusion and upset, much like you did when Chan complimented you. Your tone sounded a little too defensive but he quickly shook his head.
“It’s not a bad thing, I swear! You’re the last person I’d ever say bad things about. I promise, that wasn’t supposed to sound mean!” He scrambled to correct himself, his cheeks going a soft pink. “I just meant that like you’re really pretty and I can understand why he wouldn’t want just anyone trying to get with you. I didn’t mean you’re ugly or anything. Cause you’re not. You’re definitely not.” He babbled on, both of you growing more embarrassed by the second. “I’m sorry. I should not continue speaking. My brain has left the chat. That sounded mean. I’m sorry.”
After a few seconds of awkward silence, you let out a laugh. It was quiet at first but it grew louder as your mind processed the absurdity of him apologizing for calling you pretty. It was his turn to look confused and a little offended but you shook your head, reaching across the bar to place a hand on his arm as you laughed. “Binnie, you’re fucking precious. You saved my life last night. Or at the very least, my dignity. I know you didn’t mean anything rude. Please don’t think that offended me.”
The confusion still showed on his face but he nodded slowly and kept his eyes down. His gaze was locked on your hand gripping his wrist as you calmed down. You looked so soft and small compared to him and he wanted nothing more than to hold your hand. He’d gotten to hold you in his arms last night and he wanted to maintain contact.
As your laughter died down, you realized you were still holding onto him and started to let go when he placed a large hand over yours, holding you in place. You looked up to meet his eyes, still wearing a small smile even as your face heated up. He was sporting a soft blush and half smile too, setting off the butterflies in your stomach.
His heart was racing once again as the two of you made eye contact. He wanted to hold you again. Wanted to tell you everything he’d ever wanted to tell you. Chan would be pissed though. He’d made it clear in no uncertain terms that you, his baby sister, were off limits. Fuck it. “He’s gonna beat my ass for this.” He muttered and your brows furrowed in confusion before you realized he was diving over the bar towards you, crashing your lips together.
You didn’t move a muscle, not even to draw in a breath. Were you still asleep? This had to be a fever dream. Maybe you’d drifted back off, still wrapped up in the oven he called a bed. But then how come you could taste him? You shook yourself out of your thoughts as his hand left it’s position of holding yours in place, instead moving to tangle in your hair.
A tingle of pleasure ran down your spine from the way his fingers ever so gently tugged at your hair. He wasn’t trying to pull, he just wanted to hold you in place, but you pressed forwards into the kiss and his fingers got caught behind your loose ponytail. You couldn’t hope to stop the mewl of pleasure that slipped out involuntarily. The pull felt delightful and he tasted equally as wonderful.
His lips were plump and firm against yours and despite having just finished breakfast, you could taste the mint from his toothpaste. You wanted to fly into the sun the second he sucked on your bottom lip, nibbling slightly and drawing out another whine. But his lips left yours all too soon and he chuckled as you tried to chase him before pouting.
His hand moved from your hair to your cheek, his thumb caressing your cheekbone as he watched you slowly open your eyes. Reality quickly slapped you in the face and you wanted to look away but his other hand came to your other cheek, holding you in place. He was about to say something sickeningly sweet when his phone buzzed, drawing his attention away from you.
“We should get you home. He’s already asking where we are even though it’s not even nine.” He sighed, retracting his hands and sitting back down on the barstool he’d leaned up from. “Why don’t you go gather your things while I get dressed? You can keep those and just give them back later, I’m sure you don’t wanna put that dress back on just to go home.”
You nodded and reluctantly righted yourself, both of you heading towards the bedrooms. You parted ways and as soon as you were alone in the guest room, you brought your fingers to your lips, smiling and fighting back the urge to squeal. In the next room, Changbin was in a similar state, but with added anxiety that Chan would somehow know and kick his ass for making a move.

bg is hetero romance, right? And you mean only Chinese or in gral? because I haven't read Chinese hetero romance but ofc I read the latter and I KNOW they do that there but a: that doesn't mean mxtx doesn't make, TOO, the kind of setting these women love. one doesn't cancel the other (if I say I don't like Burger King because it's too greasy, it doesn't make sense for someone to reply "seems you didn't eat enough McDonald's then" ?? both are, even if one is more than the other... both are). b: I was obviously talking about women that read mostly BL anyways, and they love a simp of a ML so they can project. And the fact it's always the top or seme or gong too... Welp. But just to be clear, I'm not saying they aren't cringe for this, I personally don't like projecting all the contrary, I want to enjoy for what THEY are and that's why I prefer more balance in ships because it's not about me. but it is what it is with these people. It's not that hard to get where they come from.
what you say about lwj is a proof that he's perceived like that and for a reason. I don't like to exaggerate his mourn either otherwise it makes me sad but he did enough for wwx while wwx didn't sacrifice the same way (yes, he didn't need to, but that's part of the author not creating any situation with him and only with other characters) so for wangxian to be one of those dynamics where ppl will read the ML as more in love and dream about ~finding someone as unconditional as him~ while they don't need to give the same amount back. wwx's character is about himself (that scene of the tree? It's significant and all but it's also a big proof of how it's not about what he wants but about who is there for him... what if lwj couldn't catch him? See how it's still about lwj's feelings for him and not the other way around?), lwj's is more about wwx and it doesn't matter wwx is the protagonist and if most authors also do that or do it even worse, there is some authors who are more into making the MC just as into the ML or the ML just as chill as the MC... something more mutual, it's not like if it's impossible to do that so, if mxtx wrote this same ML simping for an oblivious MC kind of couple in her 3 books is bc that's what she likes TOO. and it's ok but then don't be surprised she attracts the kind of reader she, in the end, attracts...
but you said perfect settings, when the only two things going on here is the 1. MC didn't recognize his own feelings right away, because if he did, the romance would be confirmed in chapter 30, it's plot induced. 2. The ML is interested in the MC which is the most basic condition for any romance to happen.
WWX is the MC, his role is to save others, make sacrifice for others, lwj is the ML so his role was to help the MC, male writers wrote romance like that in wuxia too, it's not just a thing to attract female readers. Mdzs is not a romance, it's a wuxia, and it's mostly about wwx, the romance is just part of his characterization. LWJ doesn't need to be given equal perspective.

MC Who Ships Anime Characters (HC)
Fandom: MLQC
Pairing: All x fem!Reader
Warning: None
Requested by: Anon
Prompt: Hi! I'd like to know the boys reaction to a hardcore fujoshi MC? BL eyecandy everywhere~~(HC) thanks!
A/N: I almost made sketches of the reactions. XD I can imagine how their expressions would be if they learned MC was a fujoshi haha. Note: this is not meant to offend anyone. It’s a simple “I got a request and wrote it” case (more at the bottom of the post).
———————————————
Gavin doesn't really mind you being a fujoshi, as long as you keep it to anime characters only.
He doesn't understand your reasoning for being a fujoshi, but honestly, as long as you're happy, he's happy.
If being a fujoshi brings a smile to your face, then so be it.
When he learns that you're a fujoshi, Lucien finds it very intriguing. He takes this opportunity to analyze and study your mind.
He asks you questions - why do you like shipping them together, does it bring your joy or pleasure, how do you feel when you see them together, be it in a fanart or fanfic - and makes notes of your replies.
If Lucien finds your answers interesting, then he will even consider doing a full research paper on the minds of fujoshis.
Victor doesn't understand it one bit and asks you to keep those topics to yourself. He is not interested in the slightly to hear or see you fangirling about two handsome anime men being together.
But if Victor ever finds the opportunity to tease you about being a fujoshi, you can bet he will take it and use it "against" you.
Shaw doesn't care about your being a fujoshi. According to him, everyone has their own tastes and preferences, and if your preference is to be a fujoshi, then good for you.
Like Victor, he will use every chance he gets to tease you.
Shaw gets jealous when he sees you fangirling over male anime characters though; he wishes you would fangirl like that for him during his concerts/performances.
Kiro is uncomfortable with you being a fujoshi. Being an idol, he has read fanfic and seen fanart of him and other male idols, and it makes life difficult for Kiro; he has to work with those idols, and knowing fans ship them together, makes things awkward for Kiro.
He doesn't tell you that he is not okay with it due to him not wanting to hurt your feelings. If you talk to Kiro about your ships and such, he will listen but will try to smoothly change the topic.
Kiro hopes that you pick up on his discomfort one day.

* An Anon sent me a message about how Fujoshi is offensive to the LGBTQ+ community and explained the details, especially how most Fujoshi’s are not excepting of the LGBTQ+ community. Sorry if this offended anyone because that was not my intention at all. I changed the name of the HC and added in a note at the beginning. Thank you, Anon, for sending in the explanation! Sorry again if anyone was hurt. :(

“Now... Awaken.”
Writing Request Rules (Updated on Dec 31st, 2021)
General:
Tell me what characters and format you want. If you don’t state, I will delete or respond with a comment instead of with creative writing.
Do not just write “reaction to” or “fluffy”/“angst”, etc. YOU MUST CLEARLY STATE THE DESIRED FORMAT (headcanons, imagine/scenario, or interaction).
Specify MC/Yuu or a reader. Include relevant traits (appearance, personality, etc.). (MC/Yuu follows main story canon. A reader does not.) I will stay gender neutral unless defining sex or gender is actually necessary for the request (example: Reader is a boy pretending to be a girl).
State the relationship with the canon character (friend, lover or S/O, enemy, etc.). Don’t say “Leona with Reader”, say “Leona dating Reader. If you don’t state, it is automatically platonic.
I will write for up to 5 characters. Do not ask me to write for all the dorm leaders or for all the second years, etc.
Avoid spamming. I want everyone to have a chance to be heard and have their request written.
Please be patient! I write for fun in my free time, so I may not be able to get to your response right away.
I have the right to refuse requests for any reason.
I may combine similar requests.
What I WILL write:
canon character x canon character
platonic
canon character x MC/Yuu or Reader/self insert
NRC students, NRC staff, RSA students, mob students, and/or NPCs (Cheka, Najma, Grim, Ramshackle Ghosts, etc.)
✒️ character interactions (some dialogue and a few short paragraphs)
limited to TWO characters per request
you need to start off a character interaction with YOUR dialogue (ex: “Hi, Ace! How are you doing today?”)
stay on topic; it becomes difficult to respond if you jump around/ask several loosely unrelated questions (especially for requests with two characters)
do not ask characters to wish you a happy birthday; that puts pressure on me to get the writing done by a certain date
✒️ headcanons (will be in bullet points)
limited to FIVE characters per request
only include information that is necessary for writing the headcanons (if you are asking for shy MC playing video games with Ace, don’t go off on a tangent about how you have a pet gorilla)
✒️ scenarios/imagines (usually will not exceed 1000 words; sometimes I will write 1000+ words if a prompt really interests me)
up to FIVE characters can feature in a single imagine
you must briefly describe a situation you want the characters to be in; do not just give me personality traits of a reader or MC.
don’t ask me to retcon an ending to something I wrote before (it takes away the impact of the original ending)
yandere, fluff, angst, and simple AUs are fine!
What I will NOT write:
Note: Some of these can be negotiated for commissioned pieces. Please DM me for more information or if you have questions.
✒️ OC or OC-coded content (a trait or two is fine; don’t include any information that is not needed to fulfill the request)
✒️ NSFW/smut (this is reserved ONLY for limited time blog events)
✒️ poems and songfics
✒️ OOC or character hate/bashing
✒️ polyamorous relationships (I find them tough to write)
✒️ romanticization of bullying, harassment, and/or illness
✒️ incest (Shroudcest, Tweelcest, Kingscholarcest, Lilia x Silver or Malleus, etc.)
✒️ very specific requests (will gauge on a case by case basis; most likely will not fulfill if you explain exactly what you want to happen from beginning to end; at that point you may as well just write it yourself)
✒️ writing requests that require extensive research (like medical conditions)
✒️ rape, discrimination (racial, gender, sex, etc.), non-con, pedophilia (includes NRC staff x student), intense gore, suicide, self harm, severe mental illness, and baby trapping
✒️ in most cases, I won’t write pregnancy-centric requests (especially teenage pregnancy)
✒️ requests I have already done (check the masterlists out!)
✒️ crossovers
✒️ complex AUs (anything that requires a lot of additional research)
For Blog Events:
Sometimes there will be events on this blog. Keep an eye out for special rules and offerings! These special scenarios/events can involve:
limited time or seasonal prompts
NSFW/smut
doodles
writing raffles
...and whatever else I can come up with!
Thanks for reading the rules! I hope to see you around.

Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System
Or, one of the funniest, most self-aware satires I’ve ever read that manages to be genuinely emotional and powerful even through its satire.
(it is getting a donghua adaptation later this year(?) so the images are taken from designs and the trailer for that)
This novel is by the same author as Mao Dao Zu Shi, and again even though it’s technically boy’s love, its characters shine as the heart of the story. The characters might be hyperbolized in some ways, but they never lose the core of which makes a character seem human.
I also enjoy reading works by authors I enjoy because you can generally pick up which themes are important to them, and how they refine and explore these themes and ideas in different ways in different stories (like for example, Dostoyevsky’s The Adolescent is very clearly a prototype for what he would later masterfully explore in The Brothers Karamazov). Luo BingHe is absolutely a prototype Jin GuangYao from MDZS, right down to the skeptical birth situation, terrible father, desperation to be noticed, etc.
The story is also well aware of its role as a boy’s love novel and pokes fun at the readers for their expectations, but also pokes fun at itself for subverting and then fulfilling said expectations in thematically interesting ways. The roles of the characters (Shen Yuan becoming Shen QingQiu, who is technically Luo BingHe’s mentor at first) made me slightly uncomfortable, but it’s also kind of supposed to, because it’s a satire (and he isn’t technically the same person, and he isn’t technically a different age, etc.--see, it’s poking fun at both stereotypical BL conventions, while also poking fun at fan shipping culture in a way that really does cause you to critically think and evaluate it).
Because the novel that the MC is transmitigated into is a “stallion” novel (aka a harem). The story then goes on to explore the stereotypes of all the female characters who would have been a part of his harem, and allows them their own stories and arcs that are not centered around the protagonist. Ning YingYing was of course a standout among the female cast, and the story criticizes stories that sideline females as stereotypes.
Probably my favorite part was how aware the novel is of fan culture. Oh, gods, is it aware of fan culture in all its glory and beauty and ugliness. It pokes fun at fans for their investment, but at the same time shows the beauty and power of said investment and doesn’t “lol freaks” fans. It shows how the well-meaning fans can sometimes fail to get their intentions across and can discourage a writer, and how ill-meaning fans can really do harm. It allows everyone humanity, in other words. The writer is affected by fans and at the same time it points out the writer’s failings when he’s transmitigated into the novel as cannon-fodder (a red shirt), and how his failings can be genuinely hurtful too
(for example, Luo BingHe's harem of barely-fleshed out women reduces his character by denying him the kind of love he wants, and the female characters don’t deserve it because they have a ton of potential to write their own stories, and is actually the writer compensating for his own issues). That being said the author feels like cannon-fodder, and the story that he wrote for his self-esteem backfires, and *spoilers* he gets a great ending I’ve had that spoiled for me and he deserves it.
So basically, it doesn’t vindicate anyone in the quagmire that is fandom, but it doesn’t condemn anyone either.
Thematically, the story explores ideas of fate/God and free will. Weighty stuff, but it does it with empathy and nuance. It asks what is necessary to create a good story in real life and in fiction, and asks how real life and fiction both impact each other (nuaaaance). It questions what kind of suffering is necessary for character development.
It explores the typical “pride and prejudice” dilemma and shows how preconceived notions--even if understandable--can damage a relationship before it even starts. It asks you to reevaluate empathy for even the “scummiest” characters as well, which MDZS will later do too.
It’s also vastly aware of what good writing is in general convention, and is so funny and relatable for better and for worse I still can’t stop laughing. Like, this was totally me with TG:
And the system. The system (which transmitigates Shen Yuan the weeb into Shen QingQiu the villain) was so self-aware. “Being docked 50 OOC points,” rewarded “coolness points,” the system’s idea of saving him being tearing his shirt off (aka aware of the hot villains appeal throughout history)--it’s like the internet, and Shen Yuan thereby finds himself being picked apart like he picked apart this novel--but it isn’t saying it’s bad to do so, either, because the system does help, but neither is it avoiding how that can be really painful and not always worth it.
And. And. The ship. It had a Mutsurie moment: the moment where one of the characters is at their worst, and another character decides to embrace them anyways. I cried.
It’s excellent as a premise and as a novel, though (still like 15 chapters from the end, thank you translators) I don’t think it’s as polished or as deep a story as MDZS. But that’s okay. It’s a solid 9 out of 10 for me.
so anyways when am I waking up as Furuta.

You are amazing. And I don't need to say anything more. I was wondering, what kind of books inspire you to write, and while I'm waiting for your marvelous updates, what lgbt+slash+fantasy+mistery+crime+ whatever you like- books would you recommend to read?
YOU'RE amazing! :D
About your question.... HMMMMM. Good question! I think the reason it’s hard to give you a great answer is usually things don’t directly inspire me... what inspires me to write a story is typically I get a single scene in my mind, and I can see it really clearly, and then I want to write a whole story around that scene explaining how things got to that point, and where they go from there. And those scenes can be a mental image, or can be a line of dialogue, or something else. Usually they come out of nowhere, and then the story goes from there. If the scene is triggered by anything around me, it’s usually not a completely direct thing, it’s probably an amalgamation of months or weeks or years of things gelling in my head without me realizing it, from my own experiences or from stuff around me.
But sometimes it’s a more literal, direct inspiration.
I was inspired for an aspect of This Friable World by the BL manhwa Voice of Love by Pongpong on Lezhin. (You can read This Friable World part I and part II for free on my patreon - it’s sort of like, idk, a weird semi supernatural-ish f/f short story thing with magic in the background). I already had a lot of the ideas for This Friable World but it inspired me to add another layer that I’m really happy I added. Can’t tell you exactly what without spoilers for both.
Also just before writing this reply, I was talking to a friend who was telling me about the D&D game he’s GMing and he mentioned how he wanted to have the characters go to a fairy market at one point. And that passing sentence gave me an idea for doing a bunch of short stories set in the Wildwood Rising universe, of characters that may never show up again, or previews of characters who later will become MC’s. I wouldn’t make it clear so readers wouldn’t know.
Generally speaking, things that I SUPER LOVE tend to make me so happy and excited I get a bit of inspiration back for writing-- not necessarily a specific scene, just sort of like, it makes me want to write generally.
The best recommendations I have for the stories that tend to do that to me the most no matter how often I read them, because I love them SO MUCH, are my favorite series:
All For The Game by Nora Sakavic:The Foxhole Court, The Raven King, The King's Men
Raised by Wolves by W.A. Hoffman:Brethren, Matelots, Treasure, Wolves*and then I heard recently(ish) a short story was released that's set after Wolves that I have bought and dl'ed but didn't get to read yet - I think it's called Better You Than I and I'm STOOOOOOKED :D
Also One Piece by Eiichiro Oda always inspires me for storytelling. And for crime/mystery I tend to read or watch nonfiction the most on that. Simon Singh's Code Book inspired me for a lot of details in Jeffrey’s expertise in ICoS, for example. Simon Singh is dope, dude; basically everything he writes, I love. Well, almost everything. I also really like Erik Larson’s books. He’s most famous (probably) for Devil in the White City which I also love (you should read that if you haven’t, if you’re into serial killers and world fairs and architecture) but I’ve read several of his books and they’re all fascinating. I also love Neil Gaiman who probably helped inspired me especially back in the day to write things I wanted to write, like how he wrote Sandman. I’ve always felt like I’m going to write what makes sense to me, not what some genre dictates. And that probably will always make me unpopular and never make any money, but oh well. That’s just how it is. And Neil Gaiman’s writing advice kind of underscores to do that, which makes me happy to know that someone whose writing I love, is also someone who’s like, “Come on broskies, be yourself!” instead of telling everyone to follow all the tropes and expectations to stick in the box of whatever genre one is writing.
Oh also sometimes music inspires me... the other day I was driving listening to my old ass Drain STH cd, and something about the nostalgia of it made me really want to write. By the time I got home, I lost the inspiration, but still, it was there. For some reason, when I use my record player with the records I have, somehow that is often more inspirational for me to be productive, generally, than using Pandora is. I don’t know why?? Maybe I inherently feel like i”m on a timer because I have to keep getting up and flipping things. Also it isn’t digital so I don’t have to have another window or tab open to use it, so I’m less distracted.
It’s probably none of the above idkMovies, manga, anime, TV shows to an extent - those things usually, for whatever reason, inspire me more than books do. But I think that’s just because I’m so paranoid about getting so inspired by an idea in a book that I will somehow accidentally steal it(??????) that I don’t read many books in any genre I write in, so as to avoid that accidental influence. But I’m most interested in the genres I write in, not in others, and so I rarely read books anymore and read more manga and manhwa instead, if I read anything.
Anyway that was long and probably super unhelpful, I’m sorry :(

[manga review] Men’s Kou
This is just my personal rant. I just finished ‘seems-fine-manga-turns out-a lil-shit-in the end’ kind of manga.
Men’s Kou (Izumi Kaneyoshi) - baka updates
Description
From Serenus Dreamers:
Five minute walk to the sea. The closest train station takes 50 minutes by car. Famous private dormitory male high school Seihou is located in that super remote place. What will happen at that place where men are crazy for love?!
BEWARE, THIS IS GONNA BE A VERY LONG POST
Good Point
Idk whether The Author intention’s to portrayed such an ambiguous moments.
Educational purposes (life’s experiences)
Our main charas’s designed to have some painful past memories and traits, a death of our loved, unrequited love, unable to express our feelings, introverts, shy, etc. Its a common things and very humane; teenagers/HS students (mostly) have their first adult-to be-experienced in this timeline.
There’s no exact period when and which we could overcome those feelings, maybe a lifetime, maybe 3 mos, maybe years; who knows. It different with each other. But the important things are our willingness to let go the past, learn from our mistakes, and move forward to the future.
Forever but not really forever
Shoujous manga typically selling fluffy dreams, way too fluffy and occasionally way too stupid to read. I have read many shoujous manga that I dont want to read because it way too stupid. In this case, josei or any mature-ish mangas is much better.
Shoujous manga have this kind of philosophy, ‘your first love is gonna be forever and ever’. A simple reality form of classic fairy tale.
I rarely saw a shoujou manga which had a failed first love, overcome it, and obtain a new love. If there’s one, fans sometimes have their majority vote to ship female oc with 1st lead mc. Well, since shoujous type reader range from 13-18 yo, no wonder the stroyline was dreamy like.
It takes a lot of courage for shoujous mangaka to make a new POV for shoujous readers. Otherwise, their new projects unable to sell. In the end of the day, it comes back to money, eh?
* Plot
Plot wise, it’s very good. The plot is straight forward and each characters able to make a significant development. The main setting is about male high school (in deserted dorm) and their love story.
I able to grasp the author’s core in this story:
ability to take a chance
ability to let go and step forward
a strong willful of human being
friendship and loyalty toward it
* Characters
The characters design are great , eventho the style wasnt your typical shoujo style (wide eyes and detailed hairstyle). The style itself is simple but we able to understand the whole story.
The relationship between characters drawn very well. Maybe because the author wrote it in male pov, there’s sometimes a scene/dialogue that shown in male pov. It doesnt feel like shounen-ish manga, but almost like a real life male pov.
Each characters have their personal problems and background, but they manage to live in harmony in dorms and solve their daily problems. Disini juga digambarin kalo misalnya seseorang punya masalah itu, ga ada gunanya kalo disimpen sendiri, with sharing to our friends, we able to take step forward with their support. Still the choice to make still upon themself. What a beautiful of friendship!
imo, this is why i love man friendship rather than female friendship.
* Dialogue
I cant say much about this, since it was not an official translation. But, the humor they make sounds plausible to reader to understand. They have occasionally male high school jokes on it, which silly but entertaining. I guess this is the most fun part (for me).
Negative Traits
I pretty much understand, because this is a MANGA (a shoujo to boot), THE CHARAS MUST HAVE A GOOD ENDING, NO MATTER WHAT (business stuff, I know), but OH COME ON!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?
I totally pissed. Betraying and cheating is not cool. And with your best friend? Just to fucking heal your-oh-so-deep-past-scar-cus-our-important-person-didnt-understand-ours !!? yeah right, KISS MY ASS!!!
tbh, i hope the author can wrap the ending more realistic, it sucks. like everyone can really forgiven their best friend betrayal. even though Kamiki and Takano affair didnt emphasize what they’ve been doing for the past 4 months, but God know it was an affair afterall.
So, Author-san, did they for the past 4 mos comforting each other with:
secret phonecalls - what? they just talking about their pain?
secret meeting - hmm? just having a dine in and talk about some painful moments/feelings? or did you guys comfort physically too?
petty talk - i understand your loneliness, and i hope we can fix it together even tho we dont love each other (we have bf/gf).
wow, talk about some serious bullshit here.
I dont think that Takano and Kamiki have a platonic relationship. The Author hints too many mysterious and WTF moments between em. Moreover, WHAT WITH THAT BLUSHED FACE!!!!
Hohoho, what an obvious feeling, dont you think!!!?
And in the end, it turns their affair wasnt that big deal. They simply forgiven because Kamiki have a knight complex and Takano just studied abroad, they comforting each other while doing nothing wrong (talk about self justification here).
Dude, you missing the point. It’s not what you supposed to do in a relationship. That way of thinking is what all betrayers do (and thought) all over the world. You dont trust and respect your original partner in all manner accounts. You just completely disregard their true values, their feelings and somehow put them in a whole different dimension. You think you doing this for their sake, but whose sake we really talking about?!
To make it worse, even their own friends; Genda, Nogami, and Hanai - in unison that ‘their’ affair happen for some important reason and Maki and Fuyuka should forgive ‘em. YEAH RIGHT. TELL ME STRAIGHT TO MY FACE IF THERE’S ANY IMPORTANT REASON FOR ALL AFFAIRS IN THE WORLD.
OVERALL THOUGHT
This manga kinda complicated for me, i like it but at the same time i hate it. So maybe someday, I will give it a try to read it again; eventually like it. But for now, I just gonna avoid it as much.
Personally, this is was a quite good manga. The characters, plot, and artwork quite my liking. This is a shoujou manga but in the beginning it has a shounen ai tone (eventually it’s gone after the 2nd volume till end). I love such a setting, all boys dorm with many ikemen around, and it reminded me with Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike! (Miyuki Abe) Well, tbh i kinda hope it turns more soft BL tho hahaha.
It started very good, a lot of humors side (daily life at boys dorms, school and friendship - totally hilarious), romance (those very typical high school), and slice of life. The climax was unexpected, but still good; well at least the Author able to make me swearing a lot at this chapter (hey, I’m praising her here). But seriously, the ending was totally SHIT.
