Not everyone will like you and you will not like everyone, That’s ok, it’s not your fault, it’s nature and you cannot control it really. Sometimes people are just off and you cannot change them, you shouldn’t even try, you have no right! But what you can control is your attitude, treat everyone with respect, kindness and compassion when need be. I know it’s hard when you feel a certain way towards someone but keep in mind, you’re doing this for yourself, you’re creating your own karma and I bet you would want it to be beautiful. So perform beautiful acts regardless of how the other person responds. It’s okay to do it with selfish intentions like yourself. The nature of the mind is restless, doesn’t want to obey and is very powerful. Yet the mind is always with object, could be a happy mood, food, negative feelings you name it. Thing is, whatever object your mind is holding, you become. If it is sadness, then you’re a sad being, if it is fries, then you’re a girl who likes fries, that’s how you will behave and it’s what people will see. So to be happy, focus your mind on something that makes you happy, suddenly your mood will change. Your mind alone is capable of paving your life, every time it wanders [which it does] catch it and bring it back to your happy object. Slowly by slowly you shall gain control over it and then you can direct it where you want to be.
