undress with sorcery
Miera’s stark, Ancient Esternian features, heavily contrasted with Thea’s softer, Berthan ones. Miera had high cheekbones and a pointed chin where Thea’s face was rounder. Thea’s ears gradually curved to their pointed tips, where Miera’s were distinctly angular. Thea’s creamier skin, brown hair, and hazel eyes helped her blend in when she didn’t want to stand out. Miera’s complexion, hair, and violet eyes made it impossible for her to not.
All that said, for her part, Miera looked the perfect part of a Nidtrin High Priestess. She was a Junior High Priestess, but had cross-trained as a battlemage and was an expert psychomancer and kinetimancer. She was on track to be where Thea currently was someday. Thea could not be more proud of her. Over the years, Miera had become one of Thea’s friends.
They entered Miera’s tent, which was also sparsely furnished. However, Miera had managed to make it a controlled mess in the short time she’d been here. Thea expected nothing different from her, though she wished her sister would keep herself more organized in all matters.
Miera tore off her jacket, stripping down to the camisole she wore underneath. She ditched the uniform pants too, changing into a looser pair of pants. She did the second half with sorcery, for no person could actually change that fast. Thea took off her cloak and carefully draped it over the back of a chair. Meanwhile, Miera’s uniform hung itself back up on the rack.
Miera tossed herself down onto her cot, which was clearly more comfortable than it looked. She patted the space next to her invitingly. Thea sat down, leaning back against one of the tent-posts.

Decided I’m gonna do nano!
November will be a good time for me to start on the sequel to honey hawk (Yes, it’s gonna be a series). So for the rest of October my goal is to edit HH to the point where I don’t know what else to do to it, send it out to beta readers, and outline Turning Tides. I’m also doing inktober and I’m in the first semester of my masters degree in counseling science so uh
Wish! Me! Luck!

Despite being apart, Ohm and Sulien are in constant communication. They send letters to each other often, and Ohm even sends packages. Ajax has to vet all of the packages, Tsaritsa's orders. But they just look at all the old photos and notes and laugh. The images depicted are simpler times, but times Sulien has forgotten. And getting to experience his past with Ajax is a big plus. anyways cute lil family

greetings, kind and nice to answer soon,i will write my opinions in parts, glad to talk with you PART 1 its all about elizabeth, she is the main role from the start, jack was and is in the main storyline,he helped making the sucess of the show when he was alone,to forget him only is bad writinng, other roles are nice to see but begin to repeat themselves and dont make the plot continue, dan makes choices but writers give material, dont forget that the biggest moments up to now are jack included

Hello again! Sorry it took me a little while to get to these, but here I am! I’ll try to reply to each of your parts separately so I don’t forget anything.
PART 1: I agree with this. Jack is a Main Character by definition, and without him the show probably wouldn’t have made it very far. I personally enjoy other character roles more (and wish they’d take the time to make them matter more), but acknowledge that taking Jack out of the show is a bad idea. It’s definitely bad writing, if indeed the writers get a say. The problem is that the writers have to work with Dan’s presence, or lack thereof. If Dan isn’t there, they have to do something with the role of Jack. He’s had some big moments, but what can you do when you need to rid yourself of a main character?
PART 2: I’d say that the “story” this series has been telling since Season 2 is NOT Jack & Elizabeth’s, but the story of Hope Valley as a community. Thus, characters like Bill, Lee, Rosemary, Florence, Dottie, Clara, and so on, are crucial to the story that is being told. However, I should also say that Hallmark could do a lot more with these characters than they’ve been doing. They barely utilize the rest of the cast for anything new, or for long-form plots that aren’t just drama. That said, Jack and Elizabeth’s romance is the main plot point of the story and has been since Season 1. It’s the reason most people are still watching. I’m not sure how to feel about the wedding if indeed they intend to completely write Jack off. Heck, I don’t know how I feel about him being permanently reduced to a part-time figure on the show, either. I agree it comes across as cruel and deceitful, though, to have this wedding and house-talk (not to mention house-drama) if the intention all along was to snatch it all away. I don’t watch for Jack or Elizabeth, but I’d be pretty upset if they threw Jack away after all of that work and did so in a manner that wasn’t even thoughtful.
PART 3: I hate how this show pushes “God’s plan” on the audience while also failing to ever actually showcase it’s preacher-character or use the church as a church. It’s faux-Christianity in my book. But the writers would 100% use that line if they killed off Jack. I agree that most fans just want to see lighthearted fun stuff. I am not one of those people but I also don’t want to see characters killed off and the survivors talking about how the deaths are “all part of God’s plan.” As far as all the bad things happening to one person goes, I don’t know what to say about that. It definitely happened to me in my 20s: one awful thing got thrown at me after another, and it went on for years. It’s not unrealistic. But as you said, the writers (or showrunners) are the ones who get to make that choice for fictional characters. If they’re not doing it with a happy ending in mind, I’ll be upset. As much as I love realism in my fiction, I want to see that happy ending, too.
PART 4: Theoretically Bill should also be in danger more, and possibly also Frank (considering his past), but this show is really good about putting all the pressure on Jack. It seems like every time he has something awesome happen to him, something else comes along to ruin it. I hope he doesn’t die, but as a writer I can admit it would be an easy way out of the issue of Dan maybe wanting off the show. And if they’re aiming for tragedy it would really hit people hard. As far as Elizabeth goes, I disagree with her having “no problem” living without Jack. She moped for ages when he went to fight in the North, and was very worried about him. The writers don’t want to write her talking about Jack into every scene because it gets boring for the audience. I just wish they’d have let other characters miss Jack, too—-so that it felt like he was a part of the town instead of just “Elizabeth’s man.” In my opinion, Jack could live without Elizabeth but it would be hard for him; when he returned from the North he said that thinking of her helped him (emotionally) cope with the trauma of active combat. I think he’d live, but he might be in an emotional rut for a long time. He’s a faithful guy. I can respect your perspective, though!
PART 5: I’m really enjoying getting people’s views/opinions on whether recasting Jack would be a good or bad idea. I think it’s interesting that you think it’s likely that Jack will die and Carson will be chosen as her love interest! I’ve seen others express a similar opinion (about Carson potentially stepping in as a love interest for Elizabeth)! I’m not sure if I agree, but I like to see what people are thinking.
I think we can both agree that WCtH is a show that has a LOT of potential for amazing character stories and dynamics, but that the writers dropped the ball the moment they were renewed for a second season and the show got popular. I don’t think any of them really know what they should be doing with the series, and as a result it feels like it’s starting to falter—-and hard.
I’m curious to know what they’ll do with Season 6 at this point…and I pray they don’t string us along with the idea of Jack coming back only to plop him into two episodes and call it a day (while also giving us mediocre single-episode plots to nibble on).
I say if Dan wants off, get rid of him and get the show moving forward; utilize the characters that are already in existence and do something great with them. But I don’t think the writers have the guts to do something as drastic as actually kill Jack off.
