as he's hylian-komo, his ears are smaller than most hylians'

it didn't take long for the novelty of the soldier's getup to give way to the discomfort of being in it, so those were replaced with his engineer's uniform as soon as they could be ( and returned to zelda postgame )

while he gave the spirit flute back to zelda after their journey, she eventually gifted him a pan-flute she personally commissioned for him <3

even when he's not actually wearing it, he'll always have ezlo's hat on him somewhere ( usually tied around a wrist, forearm, or bicep )

like patches, his tunic is his work uniform! as it's the most "official" outfit he has, he wears it when patrolling hyrule or otherwise travelling — hanging out with zelda is the only time he really takes it off postgame
