AU where Satoru comes back claiming he’s killed Suguru, and Shoko simply crosses her arms once she gets him alone and says, “I don’t buy it.”

Satoru freezes, but she can’t see his eyes. “What?”

“You’re full of shit,” she says, simply. And then, “Where is he?”

He parts his lips, maybe to lie, but then he stops. Rethinks.

“Fine. You don’t want my help, you can—”

“I’ll show you.”

She looks up. Of course.

Shoko doesn’t make a sound. “Is he dead?”

Neither of them do. “No.”

Then, she sighs. “Then that makes it a whole lot easier.”
