Primary 1 English Enrichment Class and Best English Class For Primary 1 - Creative Learning
In Washington, DC A nonprofit organisation, Creative Learning, Since its creation in 1977, Creative Learning has supported communities, non-governmental organisations, and educational institutions both at home and abroad in their efforts to bring about change that has a significant long-term social impact.
The potential of regional organisations to improve the lives of local citizens everywhere is strengthened by Creative Learning's focus on areas where there are pressing human needs. Establishing people-to-people partnerships is a particularly effective way for us to uphold human rights, advance social and economic development, and foster peace.
A new teaching and learning methodology (TLM) named "Creative Learning" was created by APCL with the goal of fostering an individual's creativity. Every child is creative from birth, according to the school. Development of the child's intrinsic learning processes is the system's primary goal. It makes an effort to cultivate seven fundamental skills known as Core Creative Competencies (C3): focus, power of observation, memory, thinking, imagination, emotional control, and communication/expression power. ([4] Although it incorporates them into contemporary educational systems, the system is founded on conventional Yogic cultural practises.

Your child gradually learns and masters the language and writing skills through a continuous progression across the six primary school levels.
Our programmes assist your kid in learning at every stage of their primary education, from being eager learners in the lower primary years to independent learning in the middle primary years to finally mastering the language in the upper primary years.
Why is creative learning important?
Learning experiences that are imaginative elicit strong student engagement. Learners retain information longer and develop their understanding when they actively participate in the process. However, that is only the beginning. The benefits of creative learning go far beyond that.
It encourages creative problem-solving.
Learning activities that are creative alter how students approach issues. They develop greater creativity and innovation, as well as an improved ability to manage uncertainty. Creative learners begin imagining alternatives or possibilities from several angles. They can anticipate and overcome challenges thanks to this change in perspective.
Strengthens critical thinking.
Students put up original solutions and ideas. The process is then improved by reviewing how well they've implemented them.
encourages taking risks Learners who engage in creative learning run the risk of failing. They have the option to make judgments, some of which may unavoidably fail to produce answers. However, engaging in creative learning gives students a setting where they can experiment and discover new things. Gaining confidence in "failure" enables students to take more risks while feeling less anxious.
It creates an attitude of curiosity. Unconventional approaches to education are creative. Unusual teaching methods stimulate interest in the subject and the learning process in students and encourage learning in general. Curiousity, conversation, and fascinating discoveries are all fostered by creative learning.
Boosts one's sense of assurance.
Confidence-building learning strategies are creative. As a result? Lessons learned are more likely to be applied by students.

one thing I really liked about writing Isabelle Chan as like the antagonist of a match made in hell is how utterly mundanely cruel she was.
her cruelty isn’t like vicious lashing out or like setting out to hurt people out of a sense of sadism: it’s just that she sees everyone around her as a means to make herself look better.
she doesn’t set out to destroy anyone, it just completely doesn’t register that the people she hurts and destroys are real people.

Sapphic vampire fiction mini reviews, ranked from least favorite to most:
House of Hunger: Bland characters, a story that barely scratches the surface of the implications of its premise, and a central relationship with nothing underpinning it make for an aimless story with a climax that hits like a limp noodle. If the dynamic between a vampire and her indentured maid appeals to you, try The Wicked and the Willing instead.
An Education in Malice: For a Carmilla retelling, the titular character really lacks bite. Laura at least has some interesting contradictions in her, and De Lafontaine could be quite compelling if we saw things through her eyes, but the central relationship isn't built on a lot, and Carmilla herself is really disappointingly bland. The prose comes off as overwrought and melodramatic in the first act, and the constant leaning on poetry feels gratuitous, but it picks up steam and becomes appropriately gripping by the one-third mark, and it carries the book enough that I had an enjoyable but rather shallow experience. I struggle to think of a reason to recommend this over In the Roses of Pieria, which plays with similar thematic and aesthetic elements much more adeptly. Also, it's a pet peeve of mine when a story makes a point to establish a specific historical era for its setting but has characters that feel utterly modern.
The Deathless Girls: This book does a much better job with its sense of time and place, and the characters and their motivations are quite strong. I only rate this one low on this list because the main characters don't actually deal with vampirism as a condition until the very end of the book. On its surface, the premise might seem quite similar to A Dowry of Blood, but there's actually very little thematic or narrative overlap.
Ex-Wives of Dracula: An excellent exploration of the queer teenage experience in conservative small town ~2015 USA along with some pretty novel twists on vampire and horror movie tropes. Strong, vibrant characters with a rich, messy, and compelling relationship carry a solid mystery plot and some pretty pointed critiques of its setting, but the actual climax and resolution don't quite hold up to the quality of the rest. Also I simply must warn anyone who didn't grow up in the time and place this book explores about the profound and casual bigotry and nastiness of that setting, which this book replicates to a T.
The Wicked and the Willing: A thrilling and compelling dark romantic drama centered on a British vampire in 1920s Singapore, her newly hired and desperate to escape poverty personal maid, and her majordomo who is struggling to keep her conscience under control after years of aiding and abetting her mistress's dark appetites. Extremely strong character writing pairs with deft exploration of themes of colonialism, entitlement, class divisions, sexism, and the ways in which certain types of status can and cannot afford one leeway to be nonconforming in other ways. Intermixes diagetic and non-diagetic BDSM very organically also, if that's your thing.
In the Roses of Pieria: Rich prose dripping with atmosphere follows an obscure academic as she digs into a series of ancient correspondences and discovers a millenia spanning love story between two vampires. The character writing is solid, if not quite as impressive as some other entries on this list, but the quality of the prose more than elevates it. The text makes elegant and powerful references to Sappho throughout, and the whole experience is heady and compelling in ways that I struggle to describe in greater detail. Funnily enough, the vampires are the least interesting part of the world building. This one has a sequel coming, and I can't wait.
A Dowry of Blood: A darkly enchanting epistolary novel that takes the form of letters written by the first of Dracula's wives to him as she attempts to make peace with killing him. She unpicks a delicious and horrifying knot of feeling and history as she revisits their millenia together, recounting and reckoning with the manipulations and abuses that defined the good times and the bad. The characters are evocative and rich, the narrative voice by turns sparse, longing, furious, contemplative, and mournful, and the story simply springs to life. It accomplishes an incredible amount in approximately 200 pages, and I absolutely cannot recommend this one enough.

Max Verstappen x fem!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: despite breaking up with you years ago, it seems like Max‘ still can’t forget about the time you shared.
warnings: short mention of J*s Verstappen, not really an happy ending but still sweet? idk
Normally I don’t write in first person but idk, just wanted to try something so enjoy some (short) heartbreak from Max‘ pov while I mentally prepare myself for the singapore gp lol
masterlist
It had been years since we broke up. Maybe five or even six, I think. Highschool sweethearts. Unbelievably in love but sadly not meant to last. I haven’t seen you since graduation, you going to university, I fulfilled my dream.
That‘s why this is the last place I ever expected to see you again - at one of my races. I remember that smile, that silky hair, those bright eyes, still the same from those years ago.
Just.. you.
You look a little lost, like you’re not exactly sure where to go or what to do. I was the one ending things. My career got more serious, I told you my attention should be a 100% on racing now. I told you what my father told me. I‘m sure you know my dad had something to do with the break up but you never dared to actually ask. I wouldn’t have told you the truth, anyway.
My eyes are entirely focused on you and then your eyes met mine. You realize you‘ve been caught. I notice you're with a friend, maybe even a new relationship. Regardless, seeing you brought back many bitter memories and feelings. I look forward, determined to ignore you, ignoring the part of my soul still in love with you.
I wonder if you sometimes wonder what would have happened if I never ended things with you. Because I certainly do. Would we still be together now? Or would it have ended one way or another?
I wonder if you still miss me, or if there's still any room for love in your heart. Because despite all the time that has passed, I love you. More than you know.
I can see you look up at the podium, proud but sad at the same time. I actually archived my dreams. The ones I told you about all the time while we were teenagers. The whole reason why I broke up with you in the first place. I did it. But sadly, not with you by my side.
It was heartbreaking. I still loved you deeply and after today, I wonder what might have been, if I made a mistake all those years ago.
Bullshit. I know I made a mistake that night. Ever since, your eyes kept me up at night.
I had to try and forget you, but that was much easier said than done. I missed the warmth of your eyes, your warm comforting touch. I missed your sweet voice and laugh. I missed everything about you.
Would you ever talk to me again, if you had the chance? I would want to talk to you. I‘m sure you miss me, even if it’s just a little bit. I was always good at reading your expressions.
But I am not the same guy you used to date in highschool. I’m not sure if I’m still the kind, caring Max you met and fell in love with. Because I don’t think I am that person anymore.
But I wonder the same about you. If you’re still the same caring, kind and friendly person you used to be. But I’m sure you are. You are perfect.
Even in the depths of our break up, no one else could replace you, and I think I'd known that back when we were together. It was impossible to not love you. Your presence alone made me feel like I had wings.
I look back at the late nights you sneaked me into your bedroom. Trying to keep your giggles at bay, getting lost in my eyes.
I miss those late nights we spent together and all the times we snuck around for that quick kiss or touch.
I miss holding your hand secretly underneath the table in the geography class we had together.
I miss holding you closely and feeling the heat of your body.
But most of all, I miss the warm touch of those lips. I wonder if they still taste and feel the same.
Oh what I’d give to kiss you again. Only once. If only you knew the feelings I felt for you. How the mere thought of your fingers on my skin or your voice whispering in my ear made my world stop.
I miss those long and tight hugs, I miss holding you in my arms as if I never wanted to let you go as I kissed your neck.
Oh god, I wish I was down there right now, next to you.
You smile at me and I ask myself if you’re bathing in memories and sorrow just like me. You throw one last glance at me, full of love but full of despair. Like you’re face is trying to say that you’ll always love me endlessly but it just wasn’t meant to be.
I look up and our eyes meet once again, though I know it is for one final goodbye. My heart beats faster as I look down at you from the podium and see this smile on your face. That smile I fell in love with so many years ago. I can't believe you've always lived in my heart, this entire time.
And now I let you go.
Or at least, I try.

Celebrating dating anniversary Ran x female reader?
IM SORRY U HAD TO WAIT SO LONG I FEEL GUILTY😭 😭but overall i really liked writing this, thank u for the ask♡♡
✩彡
★Ran would not hesitate to go above and beyond for your 3 year anniversary, it's his longest relationship yet and he wants to make every moment memorable
★Be expecting a ton of gifts, he spoils you enough on the daily so one can only imagine the extra princess treatment you'll get for an anniversary
★Now, ran haitani is not one to get shy, let alone flustered but he can't help it when he looks at the engagement rings he bought. 'I'll propose soon, I swear' Rindou need three hands to count the number of times he's heard his older brother say that..
★He's 100% you'll say yes but, he just needs to muster up the courage, but he knows he can't keep you waiting too long.
★He'd take you to a really popular Cafe that's perfect for aesthetic pics for breakfast
★For lunch you guys are going too a fancy ass restaurant before heading home to pack your bags because he booked you guys a first class flight to Singapore🥰
✩彡
NSFW explicit sexual content ahead!!
"Ugh!" You groan while cracking your neck, "shit won't fit into my suitcase.", Ran observes you from his spot on the bed. He packed his things already yet never even offered to help with yours, "maybe try not putting so much shit into you suitcase, why do you even have all that?", "you bought me 'all that' ran." You roll your eyes and continue trying to close it, scoffing when he finally decided to help you.
"Move aside princess, let you big strong boyfriend help with that" he smirks, "took you long enough.." you deadpan while he zips up the suitcase with ease. It'd be a loe straight from hell if you said that his strength didn't turn you on, that it didn't make you squeeze your thighs together imagining how he could just manhandle you and do as he pleases because he had the strength to do so.
"Thinkin' about me huh?", his voice interrupted your thoughts, "h—huh, no, I wasn't.." jeez.... when did he get so close to you? And you don't remember him placing his hand on your thigh, dangerously close to where you wanted him most. "Don't play dumb now princess, you know better.." he leaned closer to you, catching your gaze with his peircing lilac eyes, ".....yeah, yeah I was thinking about you, and all the things I want you to do to me." You state boldly while keeping eye contact with him and boy did that make his sick stand tall, and he wasted no time throwing you on the bed and sliding your pants off, all while your lips moved together in a sloppy kiss.
His hands ran up and down your slit before he began thrusting his long fingers into you, "take this shit off" he said against your lips, you knew he was referring to your(his) hoddie so swiftly slid it off and locked your lips with his once again, feeling the way he smirked when he realized you never wore a bra.
"Ra,—rann, I'm so close!" You whine grinding down on his fingers while he trailed wet kiss along your neck, "cani c-cum ran? Please I need to cum!" Your body shivers as he takes a nipple into his mouth, running his tongue along the bud and massage your next with his hands that wast deep inside you, repeatedly brushing you g-stop, "go ahead, cum for me~" your body convulsed as your high washed over you, barley having time to recover as he thrusted his hard on into you, kissing your cervix while your eyes rolled all the way to the back of your head, you swear you caught a glimpse of your brain.
"Shit! Yes, oh my God ran~", you babble as he pulled out and slammed back into you over and over again, pushing you into a mating press so he could bully his cock even deeper I to you, "you're such a slut", he growled into your ear as his pace sped up, lewd sounds of skin on skin and your loud porn-star like moaning filled the room. "alway so dumb for my cock~", you could even form a response, his dick reached spots so deep in you it had you seeing stars, "look at you, you're a mess princess~" ran on the other hand was lost in bliss, he always loved the way your cunt yous sucked him in so greedily, he loved it, he loved you.
"Fuck, ran I'm close!" Your back arched off the bed and you look up at him with tears eyes, "cum on my cock, whore, make a mess", he spat harshly at you while looking down at your face contourted on pleasure, you shook and saw white as you orgasmed, loving the feeling of his thick ropes of cum filling you up so deliciously.
He pulled you in for a messy kiss as he fell limp on top of you, taking a few minutes to calm down before he gave your whole body kisses, "so beautiful.." he said placing his last kiss on your ear. You smiled at him and looked to the digital clock on your nightstand, fuck, it was almost time for you flight.
✩彡
★Thankfully, you guys made it just in time for your flight.
★He proposed to you on the fourth day of the vacation, you said yes, ofc😌
★You had to slap him when he started mentioning wanting a baby, like we JUST got engaged, calm down..
★Tells everyone you're his wife even though you're still his fiance

Books That Rocked My Shit and Should Be Added to Your 2024 TBR
i love love talking about the books i’ve read and as the year approaches it’s close, here is a list, in no particular order, of books that really did numbers on me and should be added to a new year tbr!! it’s a mix of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction/memoir
1. Babel: Or the Necessity of Violence: An Arcane History RF Kuang
Robin Swift, a Cantonese orphan, is adopted by an Oxford professor and trained for years in linguistics and languages so he can become a student at Oxford University at the Royal Institute of Translation (Babel). Babel handles all of the British empires linguistic concerns and, most importantly, it’s magic. Silver bars are inscribed with words that mean the same thing in different languages and the meaning lost between the translation enchants the bad. At Babel, Robin befriends his class, three other non-traditional Oxford students, and starts to see how Babel is used to serve the empire. He gets involved with the Hermes society, an anti-imperialist secret society, and gets caught between them and Babel as Britain declares war on China.
You know this book was gonna be on this list. It’s actually kind of cheating because I read it for the first time last year but I did a reread this September and my god, it’s so stellar. It’s a very fresh concept that revolves around the classical and the tension between those two is just delicious. My post structuralist heart that believes our world is composed of language was just beating out of my chest this entire book. Oh!! And don’t even get my started on the alternate/sub/second title!!!!
2. Why Religion? by Elaine Pagels
Elaine Pagels is a scholar of religion who has done extensive research into early Christianity and Gnosticism, and is known for her involvement and study with the Nag Hammadi documents, a collection of texts discovered that are thought to be early Christian and gnostic gospels. Using her robust academic background, Pagels explores her personal relationship to religion through a series of essays in this memoir-esque book. She writes about her time being religions and non-religious as well as the profound hardship and grief that she experienced throughout her life that led her to ask “Why religion?” and find her own answer.
This book is phenomenal. I was introduced to it in a religion course I took this semester and it has fundamentally changed my relationship to religion, even as someone who considered themself to be more or less an atheist. Pagels’ writing is intelligent and poignant but not difficult to understand. This isn’t a scholarly work and I would call it more of a rumination than an argument. The main note I have for potential readers is that it is very Christo-centric and also doesn’t spend much time with biblical canon, but considering this is a memoir and not an attempt to rationalize religion for anyone other than Pagels herself, I was not put off by it.
3. Bad Fruit by Ella King
Chronicling Lily’s life after graduating high school and starting at Oxford, the book revolves around her relationship with her mother. Her mother, from Singapore and with a troubled past that Lily begins to understand, becomes increasingly erratic and unhinged. As she does, Lily follows in her footsteps as she seeks to appease her mother while also trying to break free from her control. The central mage in the book is a cup of spoilt orange juice that Lily always tastes first to make sure it’s right for her mother.
First off, fruit. You know I’m always down bad for a book with fruit is the main motif! This is such a fantastic book exploring mother-daughter relationships, inherited trauma, and cyclical abuse. It’s devastating but never heavy handed and the writing is really fantastic. I think about this book all the time and how every character is so well written and so intensely fallible but never denied humanity.
4. She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan
A fictionalized retelling of the Hongwu Emperor, the story follows a young girl who assumes the identity of her brother, Zhu Chongba, after he dies. The original Zhu was promised greatness and in the wake of his death and to survive alone, the new (and perhaps real) Zhu joins a monastery. The story is set during Red Turban Rebellions against the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty and after many years at the monastery, Zhu joins the Red Turbans and rises among the ranks all while she attempts to conceal her deception. The story also follows General Ouyang, a Mongolia general, as he struggles with his own status among the Mongols and his hatred for Zhu. The book follows the interpersonal struggles of the characters while the overarching war between the Red Turbans and the Mongols rages on and, often, intersects with the personal.
I read this book in two days and was just beside myself. My synopsis can’t even begin to cover the complexities of this book, it is trusty one of my favorites I’ve ever read. It is SO good. There were moments where I was left gaping at the page, I was so enthralled!! I’ve heard some people didn’t vibe with the pacing of the book because it spans so many years, but I read it’s o quickly that it wasn’t an issue for me. The way that gender and sexuality are handled in this book was so well done and very much a reminder that queerness and the experiences that come with it aren’t always able to be articulated, especially by contemporary language and labels. And the parallels between characters!! Zhu and Ouyang!!! I really don’t think anything I can say can do this book justice because it’s just fab. Really spectacular!!
5. Bright Dead Things by Ada Limón
Ada Limón is the current poet laureate of the United States and this is an earlier collection of hers. This poetry collection explores identity, place, and loss with an overarching feminist oomph. The books is in four sections, each embodying a different experience or theme but all interconnected. Limón’s writing is clear and vivid and her command of language is incredible.
This collection is fabulous! Although not my usual pick, Limón’s style radiates off the page and her skill is so obvious in every poem. She is so aware of space in all her poems and every word is picked with precision. Even in the moments of loss and grief that Limón writes about, her optimism is tangible and infectious. “How to Triumph Like a Girl” is one of my favorite poems ever and seeing it in context with the rest of the collection gives it so much more life. If you’re new to poetry, I would definitely check this out!! If you’re a regular poetry reader, you should also check this out!!
I have a million more books I want to talk about but this feels sufficient!! If you end up reading any of these or already have, PLEASE talk to me about it!! wishing you all a joyous and well read new year <3

@dramatiique - jd gets a starter bc starry is a ♡ !
they tell her it's going to be a GOOD EXPERIENCE for her to move away from home. singapore is a life that proves itself contained, her world a bubble that was on the precipice of popping without notice. for girls like her, there's only a handful of options to write home about with parents that hold their children to spaces in which they trusted that their anointed heirs would thrive ; and she supposes this place will do. a year that builds into roots, into a place that she defines. american high school is just yet another thing in which to conquer, and she makes it clear to those within it that they're not meant to mess with the girls, the ones like her that stalk through hallways in spiked heels and short skirts and blunt cut hair, a smile painted in red, all teeth, all danger, lo', come, closer.
he's new, this one. faye doesn't even notice him when he arrives, her life is, school, and home, and all the things that the rich can afford for themselves, called to attention to stay after class by the teacher. when they tell her that they want her to help him adjust, THE NEW KID HELPED BY THE OLD ONE is the way they frame it. and besides. he'll be her partner in the upcoming projects due to be submitted, distain holding within her lungs that exhales slower, like a hiss that doesn't hold the bite that most would recognise. she's been raised far too well to be knocked so dangerously off course, mouth set, a disaffected annoyance bitten back.
Tumblr media
meet in the library, she asks of him. they call him jd. the kind of boy that some of the girls are all tripping for, but faye's never one to be DISTRACTED by much of anything. she's there with her books already open, her stare so steady. already wondering if he's going to do any of the work or she'd dragging this lazy american's ass across the finish line here, teeth pulling delicate at her bottom lip. faye valentine and her stuck up attitude, she's without faith, she's without anchorage, she's always been cast to sea, adept and stubborn enough to dig in her heels regardless. "we never officially met properly." how smooth she seems, at least then, gaze flickering, that up down, as if divining the means within the boy. "faye valentine. i think the teacher said... your name's jd? does it stand for anything? or this some kind of whole... james dean kind of homage thing?"

but GODDD the reunion 🥺🥺🥺🥺 i loved the class dinner and everyone feeling the tension between mc and qiu but ASDHSJDHS the reunion at the coffee shop felt so intimate <333 getting a text and call from qiu literally had me giggling shshsjj and when mc ordered a drink and they were like “make it two” UNGHHHDH everything they do drives me insane 😩💘💘💘
and their conversation unffhdhshsh please I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!!!! but my favorite has to be when mc was like “what hurt the most was you fought for everything in your life except for me” and qiu was like “so let me fight for you now” 💕💘💓💓💘💕💘💓💓💘💞 i just know your pen was on fire when you wrote that <3333 but i also love how mc’s gonna make qiu work for it 🤭 but yeah mc’s better than me being doubtful of qiu because i would just forgive and forget then take them back lmfaooo
question though if we turn qiu down, will that lock us out of their route???
anyways i loved joony so much more this update <33 it’s so funny to me how they’re one of the few people who don’t see qiu through rose tinted lens. like mc’s still hung up on qiu but joony’s just like “who put this annoying smartass on the list of singapore’s most eligible bachelors????” 😭😭😭
this has gotten so long so i’m gonna stop now 😭 but yeah. definitely not being qiu-biased but this was my favorite update!! you write the first love trope so well i can’t get enough <33 i loved the variations, the pacing and seeing more of mc’s friendship with joony and your writing is lovely as always. congrats again on the update and congrats to qiu once again for being my ro of the month <333 i hope you’re treating yourself and giving your big brain a rest. the update was incredible 🩷
Love how you organized the asks HAHAH into past/ present.
The "make it two" when I wrote it also gave me heart palpitations. I was like yes. This is it, this is the first line MC should hear from Qiu.
question though if we turn qiu down, will that lock us out of their route???
Hmm, original plan is yes—if you didn't give Qiu the chance to meet again while being back in Singapore (the "one day" option), you're pretty much passing up the chance to rekindle shit. But maybe I might make it so that Qiu might ask one last time. We'll see!
anyways i loved joony so much more this update <33
Ah it there was one salty ask about Joony's meddling... But I guess we can't please everyone. 🤷‍♀️ That's okay. Joony's that kind of person.
definitely not being qiu-biased but this was my favorite update!!
Ohhhh EXCELLENT!!!! That makes me so so happy D:::: It's definitely the most Qiu-focused chapter so far, I think. But I'll take it!!
congrats to qiu once again for being my ro of the month <333
YAY! I highly doubt the next update will change your mind, but we'll see!

2015 season summary
FINALLY! Sorry this took so long, but as you know I was drowning in classes and thesis writing. Now that it’s done let’s get back to it, starting with the 2015 season summary.
Winning his second title really put Lewis at ease at Mercedes. He’s relaxed, he’s comfortable, he’s confident. He turned 30 during the break. His relationship with Nicole finally ended for good. He talks about growing up, enjoying every day. He’s doing even more beside racing than before (and yes, it starts discourse again). In particular in the first half of the season there’s also a recurrent theme of him wanting to be a team leader (but maybe he also means first driver, he is out of a contract at the end of the year after all).
Lewis is maturing for sure, but he’s not fully grown yet. There’s no big drama during the year, though. Nico is unhappy with Lewis in China and then there’s a couple of arguably aggressive starts in Japan and in the USA. Things are pretty chill overall. Mercedes is dominating (except for that horrible mistake in Monaco and the struggle in Singapore) although Ferrari comes through here and there. And in the team, Lewis is on top. Easily. 11 poles, 10 wins.
But 2015 might just be the eye of the storm between two spicy seasons. Nico is on pole for the last 6 races, and although he’s only able to convert them into wins once Lewis has won his third title, the shift is palpable. As soon as he feels it, Lewis' attitude changes as well. He’s less positive, more defensive. As I was saying he’s not there yet. Maybe he just can’t be wise in the face of Nico. Maybe these two just bring the worst out of each other and that’s all there can be. (After all Nico also showed he can’t take the high road either with cap gate.) At the end of the year, Lewis shields himself from the questions with his third title (“I think being world champion sounds a lot better than winning the race.”), but that won’t work anymore once the next season starts 👀
Other important events of 2015 are the RBR - Renault engine issue, and also Max’s F1 debuts. Everybody is already adamant he’ll win a championship someday and indeed, he is very impressive.
Now let’s see if the storm indeed resumed in 2016 (but yes. yes it did. we all know it did.)
Let’s talk numbers : so far, I’ve completed 52.5% of my rewatch. In total, I’ve made 1,558 GIFs to illustrate it.
Here’s a list of the 2015 GPs with a quick summary and the link to the actual recap if you wanna read it or take a look at the GIFs I made :
1. Australian GP : 2015 season context. First season at Ferrari for Seb and Alonso went back to McLaren. Also Max’s first season. Loads of messy stuff happening in the pre-season / first GP weekend. Lewis interview. Lewis pole. Lewis win. Extremely boring race. Seb making fun of Nico.
2. Malaysian GP : Race n°150! Wet quali + controversy. Lewis pole. Natural vs. analytical driver rant. Lewis P2. (Bonus : “good boy, good boy” - the famous sewis podium moment - pegging Hamilton)
3. Chinese GP : Lewis pole again. Eventful race. Lewis win. Brocedes drama. (Bonus : Lewis and Nico’s postrace interviews)
4. Bahrain GP : Lewis pole. Nico interview. Lewis win. Stressful ending. Baseball celebration. (Bonus I found later on : joint Sewis interview)

6. Monaco GP : Lewis pole. Hill has to swallow his words about him being too distracted. Great Lewis x Thierry Henry segment. Big crash then terrible strategy decision. P3.

11. Belgian GP : Lewis pole, for a change. Lewis win. The crowd chanting his name. Talking about retirement. Finally admits he might win the title again.
12. Italian GP : Bleached blond Lewis! And guess what? On pole. Lewis interview. Rowing competition. Weird, weird end. Lewis win. Nice cooldown room / podium.
13. Singapore GP : Lewis surprisingly not on pole! Mercedes is struggling. DNF. Also someone is walking on the track? (Bonus : Seb being a flirt)
14. Japanese GP : Nico pole + interview. Aggressive start. Alonso’s “GP2 engine!” Kinda boring race. Lewis win. Matches Senna’s record. Nice sewis podium.
15. Russian GP : Nico pole. Briatore talking about Lewis. Crash start. Another bad crash. Lewis is a good man. Lewins win. Gayest sewis scene I’ve seen so far. Ferraris getting strong. It finally truly dawns on him he might win a title again. Controversial WCC decider.

Can you write something about erica ha x fem reader (fluff pls)
IVE HAD A IDEA FOR A STORY LIKE THIS FOR SO LONG!!!!!!
word count: 631
"i miss you" you say over the phone to your girlfriend of 2 years.
"i know baby, i miss you too" she says back softly, almost asleep.
"what time is it in singapore?" you ask, hearing how tired she is.
"2:51 am, what time is it in new york?" "2:51 pm"
you hear a soft snore, and realize that she fell asleep almost instantly after asking you.
"good night my love" you whisper, hanging up the phone. checking the time again, you park your car at the airport and pay the parking fee. "100 dollars for a week to park here, bull shit" you mumble, putting your card back in your wallet.
after the aggravatingly long line for tsa, you sit and wait for your flight to be called. scrolling though tiktok you get a message from evelyn
-are you on the flight yet?
-no, im waiting for my class number to be called
-okay, shes sleeping and should be for a most of the flight, we were out all day and she was talking about being tired all day
-good!!! my flight just got called so ill let you know when i land
-okay, fly safe! i cant wait to see you. and yes i told emily to keep her big ass mouth shut
as you board the plane, you feel yourself smile, knowing soon you'll be in your girlfriend's arms.
the flight felt like it was 2 hours (a 7 hour nap might help that feeling) but soon enough, you landed in singapore. excitement coursing though your vaines, you walk out until you see your last name on a board.
"miss y/n?" the man says, arm out to take your bags. "yes, thats me" you say, handing one of your bags over. "nice to meet you, you can call me james"
as he loads your bags in the car, you text evelyn that you landed.
-okay good! were out eating rn, but well be back at the hotel soon
-okay, ill be at the hotel in about 10 minutes
-okayyyy, shes a little upset bc you havent answered her text :(
you read her message as you pull up to the hotel. james tells you to walk in and tell the woman at the front desk that you were hear with the ha sisters. after the woman gives you the key to a room, you walk in and start getting your stuff placed in drawers. you feel your phone vibrate and know that its evelyn texting you that they were back at the hotel.
"erica just go to the new room oh my god" you hear emily yell in the hallway.
"why do i need to go to a new room? why cant evelyn?" erica argues back.
"because theres something in the room for you dumbass" evelyn yells back right outside the door.
against her will, erica slams the door open, eyes roaming the room. when her eyes finally land on you, she lets out a ear piercing scream, jumping in your arms.
"oh my god" she screams out screaming, kissing all over your face, making sure to kiss your lips the most.
"i missed you too princess" you laugh out, kissing her back. you hear emily pretend to gag in the back, the hear her yelp after getting slapped.
"were gonna leave you guys alone for a while" evelyn yells out to the two you, dragging emily out with her.
you and erica climb in the bed, ready to take a nap. "baby ive been on a plane for so long. cuddle me and take a nap" you whine, pulling her into you, cuddling into her neck. before she can even protest, your alseep in her neck, soft sores filling her ears.
"good night my love" she whispers

SH’s post does not differ too much from A Night in Nola - at TOTC2024
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Sassenach" in Gaelic just means English person. Sasana/ Sasainn means England. Its use' has survived in Scotland as - 'Aa dinna ken = I don't know'. The earliest evidence for Sassenach is from 1757, in the writing of the Scottish writer Tobias Smollett, So, the word “Sassenach" is not related to the word “outsider”.
SH has appropriated the word Sassenach from Outlander for personal gain and is attempting to distance himself with different versions to justify the name of his whisky as Outlander comes to an end.🙄
How long should these awards last?
The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is the largest award show, around 90.0% of spirits that enter this competition and in the Singapore World Spirits Competition ‘win a medal’ 🥇🥈🥉. That’s a guess the judges are not very strict. Tasting whisky is very subjective; you may or may not agree with any so-called expert panel. That leads to the question of how to know if you like whisky before buying it.
Wonder how many phone calls or letters SH receives every week asking him to participate in a spirit award show.
I do give them credit that spirits are blind-tasting, but one thing is important, judges do talk to each other and try to influence. This leads us to the whisky reason. To buy a bottle of whisky because a shelf talker mentioned it ‘won’ an award.
Spirits buyers without much knowledge of spirits (i.e. SH’s female fans) do like to see ‘awards’ on retail shelf talkers. It makes them feel good about their purchase. Most also have no clue there is more than 1 award show or anything about how they work or worse some of them don’t drink.
A huge flaw in every award show is there may be another side to it thought to get an award. If everyone “wins” then they keep coming back and paying to enter “competitions.” Hey everyone likes to be a winner!
SH fans taste his products and tell him what He wants to hear. But, On the other hand, actual customers, and whisky connoisseurs tell what they think. That is the best award! After you enter competitions and win in all of them, that is enough. The contest has no real merit, send a check or transfer per spirit entered along with the bottles for award consideration.
If SH comes back again and again to the same whisky and gin competitions with the limited edition from previous years, then his friend and partner feel honoured even if no one has any clue of his partner's contribution to the alcohol business 🤷‍♀️
