It was a  bit of a shock, to say the least when Tess found almost 6 small cans of gasoline on her seat during Valentine's day. Pink and covered in hearts, they got an odd reaction out of her classmates. Giving them a mean stare before they could say anything, Tess snatched the note on top of the “gifts” and read the messily-made writing.

Happy Valentines! Turns out I snuck in too many gasoline cans to hide in my dorm, so I'm giving you the excess! You like that stuff, right? 

You can’t tell me that the gasoline doesn’t count as a present either. The company I got them from made them valentines-themed (for some reason)! Plus, now we can have more fun together!

Tess grumbled to herself, before picking up one of the— albeit cutely colored— cans.  “Hmph, I would have preferred clothes or something fun like that. Oh well, a drink’s a drink.”

It was always snowing in Shundain, even on the day of romance. Chanyu was discussing the plans for his underclassmen when the flutter of an animal was heard from outside. Investigating the noise, the underclassmen found a snowy white owl, with a note clinging onto their foot. Reading the writing on the unopened letter, he handed it to Chanyu. “It’s for you.”

“A letter by bird?” Chanyu chuckled, “Is it from the falconry club?”

You’re lucky I know how to use messenger birds, or else you probably would have gotten confused to find a Heartslabyul student wandering your alps.

Anyways, I’m coming to Shundain. It’s too warm over here in Heartslabyul’s realm, and I’m getting annoyed by the valentines decorations they’re leaving all over my resting spots. I’d rather spend time on that cold mountain that you happen to live on. Oh, and I’m not taking no for an answer.

If you have a problem with it… you can just come find me yourself. After all, you shouldn’t have a problem hunting down a lamb like me. Right, predator?

Chanyu scanned the letter, as if thinking his next move. Suddenly, he grabbed his coat and opened the door to the cold terrain. “Cancel the plans for today’s work. I'm heading out.

“Wh- ok, but dorm leader, where are you going?”

“I’m heading up to the mountains for the day. It appears I have game to catch.”
