thirteen will offhandedly mention something about traffic? "im opening the ground bridge right now. send me your coordinates" thirteen ran out of snacks at base? optimus WILL go to the grocery store. weather is cold? thirteen gets cold easily. he may not have a jacket, but. engine. engine warm. he's going to pick up the little human and hold him near it until he stops shivering. thirteen will complain about Anything At All even a little bit and optimus will try to fix it. and it's just. it's very 🥹 i like him,,,,,

sniffles. i feel a little bad sometimes that he goes out of his way for literally everything but. it's just really sweet. hhh. he's so boyfriend okay,,,,,,,,, he's so nice to me for what 🥹🥹🥹🥹 why does he do that,,,,, he's so weird🥹

😍: okay ngl. this is. kind of all the time 😭 thinking about it too hard makes me malfunction but there's an entire gag where every time thirteen enters the room, optimus turns his head to look at him and EVERYONE SEES HIM DOING IT. like he doesn't do it on purpose or just. to be shameless. i promise hdshgdh 😭 he just. has alarm bells in his head that sound off when thirteen is within range /hj he mentally just goes "oh! thirteen! :) there he is"

the kids and most of the bots find it hilarious. ratchet wants to smack him sometimes for getting distracted but alas. it does not stop jfdjjfdghj

the first time thirteen noticed it was so cute because he wasn't entirely aware that optimus was just. Staring at him. he just thought oh eye contact and did an awkward wave. but. optimus has never waved at anyone before in his life. it's such an alien custom to him although he (correctly) assumes that it's probably some form of greeting? so like he does it back and he's so stiff in the back and forth of his hand like 😭 weh. he's so cute goddammit

OKAY ACTUALLY! first of all the difference between eros and cupid is that eros is his greek name and cupid is his roman name! a long time ago, the romans discovered that the pantheon of greek mythology had a lot of similarities with their own local gods so they adopted the stories, and now greek gods and characters tend to have greek and roman names :D psyche is one of the notable exceptions where they just keep her name as it is though

hmm favorite myth 🤔 not sure if it is a myth exactly, but the odyssey is one of my favorite stories of all time :') orpheus and eurydice is also so heartwrenching and i adore all variations of it

for a lesser known one 🤔 it's a little hard to say, because i don't keep track of what the public considers well-known hdshjfsfjj oh wait actually i can be a little funny about this one: so one of my names is actually of one of the lesser known characters, areion! (or arion, depending on the translator) he's a horse that moves at the speed of light, and is the son of demeter, goddess of agriculture, and poseidon, god of the sea (and, conveniently, horses). the reason areion is a horse and not humanoid is because demeter was trying to run away from poseidon in the form of a horse. poseidon, being an asshole, decided to follow her in horse form. so. yeah the kid ended up a horse hddjjfsfhj

10: oh. i never actually thought of that damn HDSHJDGJ UHH. oh actually! there's this cafe in the city they live in where himmel first saw esper. i think that'd be fitting :')

that cafe might not appear much in the story, but esper used to go stay every friday because he didn't want to go home. himmel saw it trying to make a house of cards, and got invested in watching him lol. then the cards kept knocking over (esper isn't good at this hdfjgsgj) so it got frustrated and snuck in some magic to make it stick. himmel didn't think anything of it at the time, but he found its actions cute :') eventually, as himmel frequented the cafe more, he began to notice esper sitting in the same booth every friday, and it developed into a bit of a crush. they never formally talked to/met each other until the actual story though, which is way after this. so yeah himesper going there after school would be fun

14: so i guess you could say esper is the serious half to himmel's fun half if you looked at them on the surface level, which isn't entirely untrue. esper is logical so he keeps himmel's head on straight, and himmel is spontaneous so he helps esper relax more

though esper is a bit too callous with his words sometimes, which doesn't mesh too great with himmel, who is sensitive to that type of thing. and he tends to be quiet when he's upset (it's a habit 😭), which frustrates esper, who is always for direct communication. but since he is for direct communication, disagreements get resolved rather quickly :') they just need to talk stuff out sometimes

18: oh god please no HDSGJGSGH as a pet owner irl i adore my dog and he is the best little guy in the world but i am never doing this again HDDHKGDGJFSGJ i did add my dog in the bg of the story though (esper has a dog in the house :')) and himmel likes playing with him, but if himmel wants a pet of their own in the future it has to be something that doesn't require walking and something that doesn't shed fur everywhere 💀

honestly. looking at my tua s/i as he is right now, i do not think the man as hobbies 😭😭😭 he's been uh. busy stopping apocalypses. so im going to use an s/i i haven't quite developed yet (from an original universe)

2. he's probably there from the first scene 🤔 i haven't quite decided on a name for him and f/o yet, but they both appear in the very first scene. f/o is kind of like a fae creature, and s/i is from a warlock family. the energy of their first meeting can be summed up with this exchange here :')

14. hmmm 🤔 i think before the events of the story, he'd be into exploring. he doesn't have a lot of free time between human classes and magic classes, so he leaves as much as he possibly can to explore the city. it's like a little mundane adventure hddjjddgjh

16. hmmm. i suppose i shall talk about what he does during the plot then :) what happens (in layman's terms) is, f/o's ancestor made a deal with a witch a long time ago, but tried to trick the witch. as revenge, the witch took f/o prisoner. so half of the entire story is s/i going to rescue him ✨️
