okay buckle up hyltta reached my submissions (at leath the first batch lol) so you'll hear about some of my favourite records

anyway this one is strictly speaking one 38 minute long track, the "parts" are only there for streaming releases, and the ten minutes that correspond to parts 6-8 are basically the climax. so uhhh what's going on here? something doomy, something droney for sure, but it's one of those releases where all parts sound familiar but there's no other artist that sounds exactly like this. no other record, even, wrekmeister harmonies themselves don't sound like this anywhere else. anyway it's kind of soul-crushing when heard in one go, building from quiet and anxious ambient section to explosive and anguished rhythm section assault to wistful single notes in the silence. there are also some strings happening. and it's not just heavy, it's intricate and beautiful too. idk, strips me bare every time. plus, that art and that title!

anyway, if you're into drone or doom riffs or feeling run over by an eighteen wheeler, this is for you. I'm not a music reviewer I'm just in love with these particular records lol

okay so @zmediaoutlet not really but sorta tagged me to do one album for each spn season thing, and i'm gonna try it my pretty random way, which is to say i'm only doing gut-feelings instrumental stuff (or, if there are vocals, they are way more obvious sonically than lyrically. i do like all of the lyrics here though)
