fucked up how in a lot of kids' cartoons being good or evil is treated as innate almost biological traits. evil children go to evil school. villains invent a beam to make the hero evil but it accidentally turns one of the villains good.

i rewatched russian doll today and there's a scene where Nadia says she looks like the girl from brave but i swear the first time i watched it, it was a cabbage patch kid, and and imdb doesn't list any references between russian doll and brave, so what's going on? are there two versions of this episode? it came out on netflix so it's not like there could be a tv version and a dvd version or something. i guess they could have copyright issues with brave, but would they really reshoot the scene instead of cutting out the reference?

i has a dream where i was walking through a market and i wasn't looking for clothes but there was this one item that caught my eye. it was a spaghetti strap cropped tank top made of ribbed fabric, it had a gradient from teal to yellow going from left to right, and there was the word "LIME" printed at regular intervals at a 45° angle in hot pink, it was all oversaturated like the manufacturer expects it to lose some color in the wash. and i thought, it's so ugly it's actually kinda awesome, but i would never wear something like that, besides it's too cold for it now.
