Loki x Reader

Warning: swearing. like a lot. alcohol. 

So, this was a full story on wattpad with very short chapters buuuut I’m a sucker for english and decided to translate it all and post it here. Enjoy.

“You really believe this is the better choice?” asked Natasha.

“Unfortunately, yes.” answered Fury.

S.H.I.E.L.D. was in the verge of a new crisis, they’ve tried everything. The desperation was so much that they were reaching out for the most... unexpected people. Long date enemies, people with weird background or just plain teenagers who, to be honest, weren’t much help. I fit in the second category. 

Me and my brother were part of this company, SCI - Supernatural Crime Investigation. Just like every relationship it was all rainbows and butterflies at the beggining, we thought we were saving the world killing bad guys. I was their best agent, you’ve killed men and womem to lost count. It took us two years till I found out the truth: THEY were the bad guys and we were killing good people. Let’s just say that I don’t take “being fooled around” very good. So I broke in and killed every single person aware of the whole fraud that was this company. I should’ve been in jail, if I was human. But I’m not. I grew up among humans but am actually a princess. Like a real princess. Royal princess. And I do not reign only one kingdom but two. Yeah, I’m a motherfucker badass.

And that’s why S.H.I.E.L.D. decided to give me the lifetime opportunity of making good things to balance all the bad I’ve done. After all, if Loki Laufeyson can have a second shot why can’t princess Y/N?

"Okay, here we go” started Fury as he went for the next slide. The picture of a very pretty blonde girl showed up “This is Aphrodite, I believe Hollywood served you a lot of explaining about mythology and turns out that this once Hollywood was correct.”. He went for the next picture, it was a young boy with blue eyes and light brown hair “This is Tom Langdon, born human and fell in radioactive trash giving him the hability to be invisible. Before all that... tragedy, he used to love fight so he learned a lot of types of it. Last but not least,” he moved to the next slide “those are Derek and Y/N, prince and princess of Oceans and the Moon.”

“There’s... H-h-h-how can somebody be prince and princess of Ocean and Moon? Is that even a thing?” Peter was quite confused. 

“The queen of the Moon married the king of the Oceans” explained Loki bored. 

“Wow, that’s awesome” you could see the excitement in his eyes. 

“They’re trained assassins. Derek has mental habilities and breathes underwater. He has been working with us for seven years. And his sister, well, her habilities are a mystery. They are not very open about their lives or habilities.”

“That’s because it’s none of your business” you said entering the room.

You used books to distract yourself and, lately, you needed distraction WAY too much. During the days you trained but at night, when there was nothing left to do in the Avengers tower, you’d find a very nice book to read meanwhile everyone else would gather in the living room to talk and watch tv. You never joined them. But one night she heard a knock on her door and when openned she saw the smiling blonde face of Aphrodite “You can’t stay forever in this room”. Uh, you bet I can. “We are throwing a party, just the youngs, of course. Come on, it’s gonna be fun” she said entering your room and looking your clothes. “Uh, I don’t know...” you started anxiously looking her touch your stuff. “But I do. This dress will make you look hot. Suit up!” she threw a black dress in your face. “Hey, if I’m going to a party I’m picking my own clothes” you said despite the fact that you’d have picked that same dress. “Okay, but hurry up, Project Runaway”. 

You decided you were going because you missed your brother. Not because some stupid girl said you should. Just to contradict her, once again, you picked some leather pants, a cropped tshirt and your usual boots. So. Fucking. Comfortable. You paired up with crimson lipstick and a high ponytail. As you walked through the door you heard the blonde girl screaming “YOU CAME!”. Unfortunately “Here I am”. 

Aphrodite, Tom, Derek and Peters were surrounded by alcohol and the speakers were as high as possible. It was a surprise that no one of the “olders” came in. You actually felt bored by this definition, maybe because you felt so inbetween the both. Your brother stood up to hug you. You missed that. You were just as one even when apart. He handed you a blue drink, your favorite food color and you drank it up. One, two, three Cups. And when you saw you were all dancing and singing out loud every single pop song playing and only stopped when you and Aphrodite broke the table while dancing on top of it “Holy shit, what the hell will we do?”. “Relax, it’s just a table. And nobody will find out we were the ones who broke it... We can blame on Thor and his hammer.” you said laughing. 

And that was when you heard the sound of somebody cleaning their throat coming from the door and all of you turned around scared. Everyone was there watching you. Thor was shook, Natasha and Bruce pissed, Tony and Loki were having a good time meanwhile Wanda and Pietro seemed offended that they weren’t invited.

“I’m so sorry” Aphrodite started charming Tony “we were just trying to have fun.”. “What I’d like to know is why we weren’t invited” he replied. “Isn’t that obvious? You are old” snarked Loki. “WHAT?” everyone seemed offended, except for Bruce. “Well, I guess now we have to prove to you we’re not old.” said Tony turning the volume up and starting to dance. 

The party went on and everybody was dancing and drinking and having fun. Everyone except for Loki that was only watching from a distance, most of the time with that smirk on his face. You couldn’t understand why they allowed him to participate of anything after everything he’s done. But them again: they allowed you participate after everything you did.
