this is me provoking you to share your thoughts & feelings on media :3c
WAAAAAAAH JUMPS AROUND OK OK UMMM. Well I just mentioned liking Bethy Esda games + I'm currently replaying fo3 SO I'll talk about fallout ^u^ putting a read more bc umm. Teehee
I personally have the most gameplay experience and lore knowledge with FNV, though I have played FO4 to death and FO3 was my first fallout game so no matter how much I ragged on both those games they're still both very precious to me. I haven't ever played 1/2 myself but I DO admire the works and their storytelling + world building, they were considered revolutionary to the gaming world for a reason! FO76... much like TESO I will not be touching on it. Just thinking about it gives me a headache. BUT ANYWAYSSS Fallout is such a beautiful franchise to me even with all of it's shortcomings its influence on the post-apocalyptic genre has been astounding and the way people of all ages and backgrounds can find ways to enjoy the series is so beautiful to me.
FO4- and FO3 to a slightly lesser extent- is a mess lore and storytelling wise. It's an FPS first and foremost, and I wouldn't even consider it an RPG in the same way 1/2/NV are since it just barely fits the technical definitions of one. You could say FO3 gets a pass of sorts since it's the franchise's jump from 2D text-heavy strategy to 3D FPS gameplay, but with how FNV reused so much of FO3's mechanics/design and managed to still give such an impactful story and game, it makes the letdown of FO4 sting even more. The player character is forced to be bland and cookie-cutter whether you decide to be good or evil, the decisions you make have virtually no depth or importance to them and the characters you meet (with a handful of exceptions) are just as bland and unimpactful. But! The game is an FPS first! And it's a good one! It's a game with a fighting/scavenging/building loop that does keep the players interested, and exploring the world is incredibly interesting! Which, unfortunately, does make you wish that they had put the same amount of love into the characters, factions, quests, etc.
FNV shines so brightly because, in spite of its now outdated graphics and somewhat campy execution, it shows the obvious work and love that went into not just how the world was built but the large range of people you can meet within said world! FO3 is definitely lackluster by today's standards, but it was revolutionary in it's own way as it represented the start of a new era for the series! And FNV, despite being officially considered a spinoff, piggybacked off of that near-perfectly and set a new standard for gaming! And then FO4.
I have alot of feelings about the lore that I keep bringing up but. My God this post is so long now ummm. Anyways as much as I criticize and insult the games I love all of them and find enjoyment in playing them and if YOU enjoy a game that people consider janky or poorly made or Bad then that's ok and I love you. If you made it this far well umm KISSES!!! MWAH MWAH MWAH MWAH!!!♡♡♡♡

NeverEnding Story - A' English Translation
Tumblr media
wow. its been a while. here's the final part to A''s Unlimited drama cd! this is not proofread and i'm a bit sick right now so sorry if some of the translation is inaccurate! translation is under the cut!
Well? How is it?
Right?! And on top of that, did you notice anything?
Wow! As expected of my Honey! This… I didn’t know which part I should spoil! Ermm… well as you heard, I tried to make a song based off of a day in the life with my Honey! Well you see, as the leader, I have to spread around a charged up happiness and doesn't turning a day filled with happiness into a song kind of sound perfect for that? Well to be honest I think I made it too personal, but I think the beauty of the E-tan world kind of drowns it out! Well either way, with the power of the happiness of this song, the Girls that will listen to this will have a freeing and indulgent type of happiness that’ll rain down on them, there’s no doubt…well?!
Right? Right? That’s the type of song that I wanted! How do you say… a song that makes you have fun just by listening to it! Well… putting aside the fact that the other members were drunk as hell while finishing up the song, it turned out the way I wanted so for now it’s okay! More than anything, I got to see my Honey’s smile, so it’s no problem and there’s still tens of millions of points worth of appeal!
Ehehe, what’s with that? But! But! With that included, it’s all going to my plan! As the Ambassador of Happiness, the most important thing is my own happiness, I’ve told you before!
Well of course I’ll let you listen to it! Um… but I’ll say this first, it’s not a sad song or anything, so don’t get any wrong ideas, okay?
Well to those who don’t know anything, probably. I think they’ll just think “oh lalala what a nice song,” I think even my own members think that but… I’ve already told you a lot so I’d feel bad if you read too much into it. On that note, if you listen to it until the very end, I believe you’ll know what kind of song it is.
Yay! Then I’m looking forward to it even more now! With that being said, the curtain is rising on the stage of A’, spreading happiness even further!
[Mirror House starts playing]
I would’ve changed it without being told!
Agh!!! Don’t bring my Honey into this conversation!
What’s some masked guy like you going to do about this?!
Ahh.. ugh! We’ve just unveiled our new songs and I wanted to have some fun with my Honey but that fucking bastard is so extreme! Ah, Honey-san, there’s a step right here so watch your step~
Fuck! I didn’t hear anything about an equipment inspection for the studio, give me a break!
Um… well… I guess I do want people to listen to our new song’s first performance in a good atmosphere. I guess that’d be a good thing!
Gasp Really?! If you say that my usual self confidence goes up exponentially!
Ehehe, that’s natural, though! If it’s not like that then there’d be no meaning to it, right? It has meaning because I’m the one singing it. It’s a song for me, right? But… the reason I wrote that song… is because I have you by my side.
Hehe! There you go again, saying things like that! You’re always so modest~ Well, even so my love for you is exploding
Heh! Just as I thought, you understand it properly! That song’s true meaning, I mean.
Well I wonder, where is it? But… I think that I should try to go everywhere that I can, as NSFW’s Charisma Vocalist and Ambassador of Happiness E-tan, or A’. I say all that, but of course you’ll be by my side, too. From now on, and on, and on, and on~! Yes! Thank you~ Kiss
Mmhmmhmm! This is it! The flavor that can make me the happiest in the world! It’s name is Honey~! How should I put it… I’m in the mood right now to pin you down right now but this is the staff entrance to the agency so there someone could come at any moment like another guy or another guy or a Momo-san who’s on his way to take a smoke break! What we need right now is a private place to escape to, I know~! So with that being said, Honey-san, let’s set forth to the Yamanote line to my place, of course! And with no delay, let's go!

Amnesia: LATER ~Waka-san World~ Route Translations (Effeminate Waka Part 1)
Translator’s note : MC’s name shall remain as my normal (水嶋ラン) Spoiler FREE : Translations under cut !
This is a story that happened even before August, when she lost her memories.
1st May.
♡♤♢♧
Ran: ...Phew! Repairing the wallpaper is all done. Thank goodness it was only a little tear so that made it an easy fix. And now for the other things I need to fix...
Ran: Oh, right! I think one of the menus we have here has been a little scratched up if I remember correctly. I should fix it if I can.
Waka: Ran, good work today, keep it up.
Ran: Good work today as well, Manager.
Waka: How about we take a break once you're finished here?
Ran: Ah, but I was just thinking of whether I should fix the menu or if I should just leave it for another time...
Waka: You mean the menu that got torn? I fixed it earlier so it's not a concern anymore.
Ran: Eh? You did?
Waka: It wasn't a lot of work; besides, that's originally one of my jobs. Waka: And I had also wanted to call for a break. It won't do if I'm the only one resting while you worked your hands off, right?
Waka: I'll pour us a cup so how about you join me for tea?
Ran: I'll take you up on it then.
Waka: Come on over. What tea would you like?
Ran: Right, I'll leave that up to you.
Waka: Here you go. We're partaking in a special-blend coffee today.
Ran: Special-blend?
Waka: I put all the remaining Mocha, Brazil and Colombia beans we had into making this brew.
Ran: Wha...
Waka: It's kinda messy to be doing this, but I thought drinking it would be better than simply tossing it all out.
Waka: That's why I made a special blend of coffee out of the leftovers we had.
Ran: Heh... Dear me, Manager.
Waka: Don't laugh! I'm going to be drinking the same thing too so it isn't really a problem now, is it?
Waka: Plus, I've also tried it earlier and it didn't taste all that bad. Much to my surprise.
Ran: I'll have some, I suppose.
Waka: You're going to need milk, right? Will a fat-free one do?
Ran: That'll be perfect, thank you.
Waka: So you prefer to use fat-free milk, I see...Are you concerned with calories as well, just like all the other girls out there?
Ran: Admittedly.
Waka: You're not even plump to begin with.
Ran: I will if I don't be careful...
Waka: That must be hard. Although, I must say that I don't particularly hate girls who make an effort.
Waka: Drink up. It wouldn't do to let the coffee run cold.
Ran: Right. Wow, it's actually pretty tasty!
Waka: Right? Considering how I just literally threw them all together too! You can't really go wrong with coffee.
Ran: Only coffee? Waka: Well, tea as well, I suppose... You really can't go wrong with them.
Waka: This is just my personal opinion on the matter, but I think it's easier to taste the different flavors in tea than in coffee.
Waka: That's why I feel that it's harder to make a blend out of tea. Ran:  You're right. You do have a point.
Waka: Mm... This slip-shod blend really is delicious. Ran: Yup. We could even put it on the menu at this point.
Waka: You're right. But there's no way I can put this out for sale when I don't even remember how it's made.
Ran: Because you just dumped everything into a pot?
Waka: Everything.
Ran: Then it shall just be a special blend that can only be enjoyed once.
Waka: Yup. One that can only be shared between us right now. Hehe.
Waka: ...Still, you've done quite the amount of odd jobs in here lately. You don't have to do that, you know?
Waka: Repairing the store equipment and other miscellaneous things are all originally part of my job description.
Waka: It's always appreciated to have more help in these matters, so I always left you to your own devices, but you don't have to force yourself.
Ran: Not at all. I don't mind doing these odd jobs, honestly.
Waka: Even fixing the wallpaper?
Ran: Yes. I didn't really know how to fix it at the very beginning but pasting it right is almost second nature to me now.
Ran: It's an enjoyable activity since I can now do it with no visible trace of it being tampered with at all once I'm finished.
Waka: How nice. All the kids here are all really nice people, but I think you're like the diamond in this pile of gems.
Ran: Oh, no, no. I'm not all that you make me out to be.
Waka: Yes, yes, no need to be humble! It's a good thing to accept some praise once in a while, won't you say?
Ran:  ...Right. Thank you. Ran: You call the staff working in this cafe your children?
Waka: Of course! I mean, everyone here's smaller than me so wouldn't you be tempted to do the same too, if you were in my shoes?
Ran: Are you talking in terms of height or age? Waka: Both.
Waka: Honestly, you're all so cute that I just can't help myself!
Waka: It was a good idea to hire the lot of you. In fact, it was such a brilliant idea that I think I personally deserve a reward of my own.
Ran: ......Could I ask you something?
Waka: What might it be?
Ran: Umm...
Choice: Why did you hire me?
Waka: Isn't it a given, considering just how adorable you are? That smile of yours is absolutely smittening.
Waka: The staff's outlook is actually one of the selling points of a concept cafe like this. So it won't hurt to have more cute people around.
Waka: Besides, you're also coincidentally my type. Hehe.
Ran: ...Uh...
Waka: But that's only half of the reason why I decided to hire you.
Waka: The other part of it was my intuition. It simply told me that you were a good choice.
Waka: I don't think my intuition has ever been wrong about things like that, as you can see.
Ran: I really do wonder about that...
Choice: Just how tall are you?
Waka: Hmm...The last time I got my height measured was when I was back in high school. Waka: I suppose I'm probably around 190cm and above?
Ran:  190cm and...above?
Waka: Probably. Although, you don't really see many Japanese people who are taller than me. Waka: It's a rather arduous task finding clothes for my height so most of my things end up being custom-made...
Ran: Well, I can certainly see why...
Waka: By the way...I just realized it today, but you changed your earrings, didn't you?
Ran: Huh? Oh, right. I took off my previous pair since I had been using the same set for quite a while now.
Waka: Your previous pair was cute, but this set really does suit you.
Ran: Thank you. I wasn't able to use these before because the stopper came out.
Ran: But I somehow managed to fix it yesterday so, here it is.
Waka: Oh dear. Which part of it broke?
Ran: Ermm... Give me a minute while I take it off. Ran: ...Over here. Can you see?
Waka: Is it alright if I hold it?
Ran: Of course, feel free.
Waka: Please do pardon me then...My, you're right. There are marks of it being fixed before.
Ran: It seemed like the stopper's pin was loose, so I was able to make it usable again after I tightened it.
Waka: Hm, this pin over here, I see...
Waka: Ah!
Ran: Hm...?
Waka: Oh dear... I'm so terribly sorry! The pin's totally decimated now...
Ran: It broke off? Let me take a look.
Waka: It just snapped off right when I tried to open it.
Ran: Oh, you're right... Well, don't mind it too much. It was already broken to begin with.
Waka: But you took all that effort to fix it, right? This doesn't seem usable at all right now...
Ran: That's true... but it's not really a big deal so don't worry about it.
Waka: But...
Waka: Are you free tomorrow afternoon? Ran: Huh?
Waka: Let's go to the department store together tomorrow.
Waka: I'll gift you a new pair of earrings to replace the set that I accidentally broke. Waka: So that's that for now and I'll see you tomorrow~
Toma: Huh!? Wait a sec- Waka-san!? I didn't hear anything about you knocking off early?
Waka: I kept quiet about it. You'd stop me if I told you so.
Toma: Huh!? You'd do something like that behind our backs?
Waka: Don't worry about the details! Good work today and see you tomorrow~
