#this is victor and the demon that he let live in his spine.#redesigning my wizard AGAIN but i think i like it this time. the idea is that mieze can only make its physical form from shadows#so the cloak provides enough for it to sort of peak out without being uncontrollably big. and also he uses it as a magic vpn so people cant#spy on him. anyways#mieze is this thing called a harvestman. theyre like. spiritual decomposers basically. they eat dead spirits and expell the magic energy#back into the air. while attached to a host they can instead expel that energy straight into the hosts body. for most mundane creatures thi#would like slowly kill it over time. and then the harvestman eats the host and moves on to a new one. but because of victors circumstances#he puts that energy to use. mainly just in keeping his body from rotting away. and partially just for his magic. these are what those#hardwired systems exist for. they help him channel magical energy more efficiently. bc a human body is not naturally very good at it#🌟#🦕
