I think...backlit spotlight scene after Macavity fight...should be Munkustrap, Demeter, and Alonzo. All together.
#you want to say something makes narrative sense? that makes narrative sense#don't boo me i'm right - where are you going?#and this doesnt even have to be taken in a shipping sense - though i absolutely mean it through one - but doesnt it make sense#that the three main participants in this scene (save Macavity) would not conclude said scene together?#would demeter not go to *both* toms to thank them for saving her and check up on them#while they in turn checked on one another and moved to check on demeter?#like the three of them just got their rear ends kicked and near kidnapped - i feel as though that in itself#creates an entirely separate narrative bubble that they alone occupy#this is not at all an original thought i just can't stop thinking about it this evening (for...reasons you will perhaps see later)#it's about...the mad dash scramble to find one another when their heads are cleared and their ears stop ringing#it's about trying to ignore the new aches and breaks in their bodies to ensure that all three of them survived#it's about the toms finding one another first and then gratefully sweeping demeter into their arms when she finds them#and their worry over one another is temporarily soothed in just that one moment of silence - none of them have to say anything#they are thankful - for nothing else - that they are scratched and battered but they are alive - they are alive and together#for just another moment more#the rest will come crashing later - they have this moment and they will never let either of the others go again#heart is full head is empty as per usual#extemporize back chat
