Today is World Kindness Day and I’m sharing ideas of Random Acts of Kindness that your children can help you with. Raising selfless and thoughtful children in our society is increasingly difficult. Technology, lifestyle and access to many opportunities make it easy for us to become self-focused and expecting immediate gratification. Engaging in days like today with our children, is part of our parenting plan to raise them to love God and love others well. Check out these ideas of ways to implement thoughtfulness and kindness with your kids today. · Model kindness for your children. · Call an elderly family member. · Make a card and send to a homebound sick person. · Make a care package and mail to a college student, boarding high school student or active duty military. · Write a letter to someone and share with them what they mean to you. · Make and delivery selfcare packages to those experiencing homelessness. · Prepare a care package for single parents. · Pickup garbage on your street, neighborhood or local park. · Visit nursing homes or assisted living facilities with your kids. · Make cards and a care package and deliver them to your local public servants. · Have your kids pick out a few toys from a store and deliver them to your local children’s hospitals to bless kids who are experiencing illness. How else have you taught your children to fill the world with kindness and love others well? #Worldkindnessway #teachingkids #homeschool #raisingthankfulkids #kindness #towhommuchisgiven (at Connecticut) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4z0cqqBHpD/?igshid=7nvs3grjl10f
