World Fashion has opened its doors for Season 3, held at the Sofitel Palms. The prestigious event honors the outstanding contribution and lifetime achievements of fashion designers across continents that are dedicated to the advancement of Art in the fashion industry in the Middle East Region, creating a unique and direct bond between the world-wide designers and the high-end customers and buyers from this Region.

In 2019, the WFFA celebrates the ‘Year of Tolerance’ to continue to reflect Sheikh Zayed’s vision on building the bridge of communication and friendship between people of different cultures in a respectful environment that rejects extremism and emphasizes on the acceptance of the other.

Every season, The World Fashion Festival Awards introduces new highlights to offer to the audience of the festival, giving them the opportunity to experience platforms of ART | BEAUTY | CULTURE at the very highest.

UAE Royal members, distinguished guests, International artists, and Diplomats were present at this prestigious occasion and inaugurating the fashion show.

This season was a unique platform presenting the Business and Fashion Pavillion where all brands and fashion designers attended having the opportunity to meet face to face with International retailers, vendors, buyers, for direct business and joint ventures.

CULTURE From reputable artists and fashion designers around the World, the WFFA has become the platform for global talents and bringing them to UAE, International Artists Sonia Majeed, Darren Timms, and Jassim Al Khazraji showcased their talents through Music and Literature at the events bringing Culture and Diversity to the Audience.

Sonia Majeed is an aspiring professional playback Singer, Musician, known for being the First Pakistani Female Singer to have performed at the United Nations. She is A Global Good Will Ambassador, Global Peace Ambassador, holding numerous awards for her achievements and dedication to her profession and support to the community

ART Salamonski ART (Austria) – Thomas Salamonski is a contemporary artist presenting his latest works in the exhibition series “Squared Faces” at the “World Fashion Festival Awards Dubai”. The series was first successfully presented in Vienna as part of a vernissage and subsequent exhibition to a broad art-interested audience. Since then, more new paintings have been born and artworks on animals now complement the colorful portraits.

Raouf Meftah (Monaco) is a contemporary calligrapher artist, He uses the colors with his own soul and this is reflected in all his extraordinary artworks that invite us to get into the depths of them. He is a member of the National Monégasque Committee of AIAP at UNESCO MONACO and has made important Exhibitions in Tunisia, Egypt, France, Dubai, and the Principality of Monaco.

Jassim Al Khazraji- Author of – “Your Dream, Zayed”

The Emirati Author is definitely a patriot lead in his creations and writings by his strong Emirati identity. He immensely loves his Land, Heritage, and Ancestors being totally dedicated to the Golden History of Emirati old times and modern times at once. Jassim adores writing about the United Arab Emirates not only as his home and birthplace but more because of his pride of being part of the generation educated and protected by the Legendary Historical Personality His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founder of the UAE and eternal Prince of the Emirati Heritage.

Darren Timms – Author of – “The Journey Back to Self”

Darren Timms is a qualified RSCI life coach, NLP practitioner, hypnotist, and counseling psychologist who specializes in helping others become their greatest version. He resides in Dubai, UAE, where he has a successful practice as well as being a regular contributor to lifestyle magazines in the area. Darren has an insatiable appetite for life and applies his infectious energy and tremendous knowledge to every client. His expertise comes not only from books and coursework but from his rich, real-life experiences which he draws upon to make sense of why we do the things we do and what to do about them.

Head of Jury and Special Guest Fashion Designer – Mona Al Mansouri presented her latest collection for adults and children and Bridals. The collection breathtaking, beautiful and feminine.
