tiny and bruce were really cute i loved how his dad instincts just took over when it came to tiny and how tiny seemed to really like bruce

Hi, I just wanted to say that I appreciate your blog so much. I've been interested in puppetry for a couple years now but haven't had the time to fully invest myself, I really appreciate seeing your posts on my dash from time to time as its very hard to find non-henson style stuff. tysm

Thank you so much, @arcaesine! My original goal with this blog was to bring more appreciation to the art of puppetry in general on tumblr and to bring attention to non-Jim Henson/Muppet works of puppetry. It’s quite comforting to know I’m succeeding in that. Thank you for your kind words!

Puppet and Eclipse meet The Toons, and Twisteds of my Sams x Dandy’s world crossover au

The Toons are fun to look at, but Puppet and Eclipse need to leave. Unfortunately Eclipse needs something to help them leave, fortunately he can track it. And too the elevator they go.

The Toons give them warnings to be careful, and they soon realized why. Turns out… this world isn’t as innocent as it seems

I needle-felted a tiny slugcat yesterday, and if you ask me, it came out SO cute! Below the cut are some more pictures of it to show off some angles and poses (featuring one of my felting needles as a "spear"):

This was actually my second attempt at making a pocket-sized generic/Survivor slugcat (fourth overall needle felted slugcat attempt), where I mainly tried to improve the proportions. Here are some comparison pictures with my first mini Survivor (left):

I hope you like this little guy — I certainly love it! And my hope is to someday needle felt all the main slugcats (plus maybe Nightcat and Enot). Some might be difficult (probably Gourmand and Saint), but I'm up to the challenge if it produces more adorable tiny wool friends!

Also, I've been trying to get back in the swing of needle-felting, so let me know if you would like to see more of it on this blog!

One fun thing about The Dark Crystal is that it’s not exactly the evil skeksis and the good mystics. It’s the cruel skeksis and the gentle mystics. It’s the mystics, who study and ponder and chant and don’t really do any harm, but don’t do any good, either, because all the drive to do anything got ripped out of them; and then the skeksis, who are all drive and hunger and probably can’t stop themselves because all their impulse control is off meditating on the other side of the planet.
