my problems are very insignificant comparatively but im still struggling with them bc of course i am, thats who i am, i struggle emotionally with things that dont matter lmao

work is ramping up, im starting to be scheduled more hours and its getting busy and we’re getting shipments of upwards of a hundred boxes but the new ‘system’ we’re using is so asinine and innefficient it makes me want to scream every day, plus we still don’t have much staff and people keep calling out so there’s no time to get anything done.

this past week i’ve hit a real fun depressive spiral to the point where on saturday i was almost completely nonverbal except for mechanically equipping my work persona at register, and it definitely creeped all my coworkers out. the night before i had depressively depressed my way to the bathroom and laid on the cold bathtub shivering for two hours contemplating s*****e until my bf forcibly dragged me out and carried me to bed so yeah. love that

today is a dose of ‘none of your friends actually like you and everyone thinks you’re annoying but they let you hang out for the sake of filling more space’ which is like. okay. sure. i literally played video games last night with these people but okay brain, just because i was kind of a dick in some among us games last night i can kiss all my friendships goodbye, sure.

Work Dump #23 Iterating on a level

We’ve Been making a small vertical slice of a game for Uni and I thought I’d share my progress!

1. First iteration 

This was the first pass grey box, built straight off of the sketches I drew

2. Second version

I tried adding some extra stuff to it that didn’t really work and a few other small things

3. The current version

The current version of the level, it has an updated layout, extra items, more advanced lighting and audio as well as a shorter password to keep the break in immersion low, I may change the system entirely but that’d take a lot of programming and I only have a week left.
