A bit of impromptu practice, a brief stop on his stroll after having slowly regained his memories of the Hive and consequently, when he re-obtained his kunai. People about the park were scarce at this sun-setting hour so he thinks why not, one hand flipping about the weapons with natural ease to ensure that he's still got it, abilities not yet rusted having returned to the city after helping save their world a second time.

Carelessness was another story altogether, though; a little too confident in himself, the teen attempts a throw of kunai without the beat of his music, failing to do so correctly without that assist in timing. As a result, the kunai goes flying, cutting dangerously sharp through the air, until it sticks into a tree like a dart after having just missed a police officer by a margin.

As if he wasn't guilty enough, the cop was one he quickly recognizes, and Yosuke's expression pales dramatically, rapid curses fired beneath his breath before he jogged awkwardly to the tree in question. Picking out the weapon as casually as humanly possible, his demeanor struggles to remain cool as he tucked them briskly into his pockets, leaning back in his posture as if that didn't just happen.

"H-hi, hey-- how are you, Dojima-san? Nice day for a walk, isn't it?"

Dear,          Ryotaro Dojima of The Hive City Police Department

        Sonia Nevermind, Princess of Novoselic, humbly requests your        presence at the home of herself and Yosuke Hanamura in Sector Six on        the 24th of January at sharply noon for a formal meeting. Dress        comfortably. Food and drink will be provided.

       Do not worry about transportation as a car will be sent to you at        precisely eleven-thirty to assure your safe arrival.

       She sincerely hopes that her notice wasn't too intimidating and thinks of it as she straightens up the living room, suddenly a bit nervous over sending it. Aware that this is someone Yosuke knows, and trusts, from his home makes her all the more focused on impressing her guest and making him as comfortable as possible.

       Glancing at the clock, she realizes she only has ten minutes until noon and hurries back into the kitchen to bring out a tray of finger sandwiches, a fresh pot of coffee, and an ash tray. Usually smoking is prohibited inside any Nevermind home, but this man may be the one exception.

       After setting everything neatly onto the coffee table, she checks herself in the mirror, makes sure every hair is in place, and prepares herself for the arrival of an extremely important visitor. If she manages to attain the alliance and protection of the Hive City police, she'll be that much closer to one day reaching her goal.

       The doorbell rings promptly as the clock strikes twelve and the princess stands straighter, if possible, and whirls around at attention. She takes a breath and waits a beat before opening the door, greeting Ryotaro Dojima with a radiant smile. 

       "Good afternoon, Dojima-san! Come in! Please make yourself comfortable!"

A small package would make its way to the Hive City PD, the contents inside it being an anonymous letter, and a VHS labeled 'Murder Footage'. It wasn't addressed to anyone, but he had hoped that the package would fall into the right hands.

"This VHS is not for the faint of heart, but it should be watched for the sake of the innocent child who was snuffed out in such a violent fashion. The footage itself was taken from an independent TV broadcast that called itself 'Loser Squad'. How it ended up on public television is beyond me. But I hope that whoever is reading this will take care of things. After all, it's good for people to know more about the situation at hand."

The letter itself did not have a signature, but it had a sort of 'calling card' placed at the bottom.
