😭 - what makes them cry? do they cry easily?

she usually doesn’t cry at sad things or when she’s actually upset. happy things will make her start absolutely ugly sobbing though. she’ll cry at a shitty “chick flick” type movie but not when something hurts her feelings. (there are exceptions, though; i think she’ll cry if she’s really angry)

😨 - when scared, do they go into “flight” or “fight”?

ooooh it so depends on what’s scaring her. if it’s some big monster or a fight or something, she goes into fight (she rarely backs down from a fight). interpersonal things she shuts down or tries to act like she doesn’t care in order to get away from whatever it is that’s scaring her.

🎭 - do they act differently around certain people? what’s different between the way they act around friends, family, strangers, etc.?

OH YES BABY. ADELIA QUEEN OF MASKING NUMERO UNO CHAMPION TEN YEARS RUNNING. she is a tangled web of masks so badly that she hardly knows who she is under all of them. the closest she gets to “the real her” is probably around her little sister, because she just reverts back to how she acted when she was younger (and starts actively worrying over her). around strangers and friends and enemies alike, she acts bubbly and unaffected, always too loud and too brash and generally considered “annoying”. overcompensating for fear and self-hatred by becoming as overbearing as possible. some of it is genuine (she really likes certain people and is genuinely just really excited about them or what they’re doing), but most of the time it’s because she thinks acting like that will make people like her, and it usually just makes them bully and hate her instead. :(

hey amaris, we don’t talk much, but we used to be mutuals for a little while before that callout post went around, and i’m so sorry about what happened. i couldn’t believe that post was true because i didn’t think you or your partner or friend were like that, but the claims were so severe and things were stacking up too high against you… i’m so glad you guys were able to clear things up; i missed seeing you on my dash 😢

it's okay </3 the odds were stacked against us from the start with accusations that were difficult to solidly disprove, and their callout was spread far and wide in the few days we needed to write a response, not to mention how confidently it was written, their harassment (and namedropping !!!) of people who stayed mutuals with me and/or sol, and their evidence which was extremely coincidental (the ip especially) and easy to believe... yeah, i get it. i also probably would've been convinced if i'd been on the outside of this.

glad it all worked out in the end though lol!

Scarlet and Mihmeira lore time again yippee. I already did bouquet so I will just do the other two !!

Scarlet

Scarlet is not afraid to start fighting and never has been, though she knows full well when to make tactical retreats, aka "run away" though that was more when she would masquerade as The Bloody Rose than currently. She WILL go down swinging.

Well her lovely husband Hien, for one. Outside of any romantic contexts, a good fight does, as well as mastering any new techniques. She takes great pride in her battle prowess. Bonus gpose of her and Hien.

Mihmeira

Mihmeira very much was a "flight" person in Radz-at-Han, though the danger there was low. She was more likely to stay out of any confrontation than get involved and try and break it up. She would shout halfhearted pleas to "Please stop fighting!" but that would be about it. There were plenty of fights over her, for people that wanted to win her heart and other suitors would fight amongst themselves, which she liked because Mihmeira liked the attention but she'd stay out of that. Now she steps up when it comes to fights and confrontations but it very much used to be that one line in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory where Gene Wilder deadpan says "Help. Stop. Police. Murder." Very much how Mihmeira used to be.

Anyone she finds attractive. Like I mentioned Mihmeira does have. Quite a lot of sex. If she finds someone attractive she'll make her move and she's very very suave and seductive. (She's 7 and a half feet tall and beefy that appeals to oh so many people. Not immune to big lady.) She also crafts and mines/does botany stuff so crafting something high quality or finding something rare gets her blood pumping, because it's a sign that she's good at what she does.

oh yeah so my goal for the year artwise was to draw 1 oc yaoi + 1 oc yuri each month and this is it so farrr ^_^ ive posted most (?) to my art blog but i also kinda wanted to see them all 2getherrrr

january was meko/solomon (yaoi) + natalia/ireena (oc/canon yuri)

february was mayhem/death (yaoi) + elissae/adelia (yuri)

march was astmay (oc/canon yaoi) + michiko/azami (yuri)

may was desire/ismark (oc/canon yaoi) + faeira/zephya (yuri)

june was abalone/scallop (rare seb oc only yaoi (most of them r my oc/my husband oc pairs) (which was also prompt art for a community im in) + michiko/azami again (yuri)

july was eldegai/magnai (oc/canon yaoi) + elissae/adelia again (yuri)

and august was loriel/arator (oc/canon yaoi) + aevezi/mynthelle (yuri). mynthelle is @.woolomancer's oc and i'm just now realizing how funny it is that this month's oc yuri involved my friend august's oc LMAO
