Went for a very leisurely lunchtime stroll at @wildwoodberry today, which opened to the public last weekend - with none other than David Attenborough there to give his blessing. It's an urban nature reserve only down the road from us in Stoke Newington, Hackney, and has been closed off for the last 200 years due to it being a barren wasteland. The London Wildlife Trust and its volunteers have turned it into this beautiful place, which naturally attracts birds, bees and butterflies. It's all the more important for our congested city to have this remarkable access to nature; and it'll be a regular spot of ours to visit for as long as we're in east London. Follow and visit.
