It's so romantic my heart was bursting, with all the poetry Gale was waxing, and the lake scene felt so real, all the feelings and sensations, you wrote them splendidly. It was really like watching it play out, not just reading it!

Gale was waxing so much poetry in it, he was totally out of my control but it was so much fun 🥰 Thank youuu 🥹 I'm super glad it came out this way because sometimes I have a very specific image in my mind for a scene and it's all about bringing it to life rather than describing it, so to know it worked for this fic is truly a boost of serotonin 🥹🥰

I'm actually quite proud of it, too, I've never written anything this long, let alone in such a short period of time, and I've never been so locked in on one fic I could write 3k without interruption 😂 And you're one of the reasons why I was able to do that so thank you for doing all these sprints with me even when it was late, and for staying with me even when you'd finished your own fic (I hope you found yourself in the endnotes ❤️) 🫶🏻 To know you liked and that you took the time to send an ask after reading it is making me love this fic even more 🥹
