little isat x pjsk au comic!!! a bit unserious, but i had to draw this once the idea popped up…

in this au, Siffrin’s fondness for puns is replaced with Rui’s love of theater direction. he doesn’t express his more abstract ideas much, preferring to “keep everyone happy” and remain palatable by creating more normal concepts, but I think sometimes they slip out.

Rui: >Tsukasa.

Tsukasa: “Oh, Rui! Finally up?”

Rui: “Mh. What are you doing?”

Tsukasa: “Checking out the favor tree! It’s so tall, it must be ANCIENT to be so big.”

Rui: | Say, that tree would make a good stage…

hiii i rly like your project sekai isat AU 🥺..... do you have any more scraps i could rotate in my mind forever and ever? (no pressure ofc!!!)

HAI im replying to this months after you have asked. but yes!!! i have so many scraps truly, though they’re mostly in pen/pencil. I prefer posting digital stuff on here, especially for AU art, but I don’t wanna let this au escape me!! so, here’s a few sketches from last year!

Also; I came up with an actual name for this au!! I very much like the sound of “Wondaloops”, so it has been. Bestowed.

starting off with: face concepts!! Isat’s art style has very very good shape language & plays around w the sharpness of its characters a lot (such as Odile being very long angular, while Mira is more stout and circular, reflecting each other their respective personalities through shape!). I wanted to replicate that as much as possible!

Tsukasa & Emu have mainly short & rounded shapes, seeming friendly & approachable. Tsukasa was basically already done, but emu took me a VERY long time to design (her face & hair went though so many alterations), and honestly I’m still not 100% happy with her. Rui & Mizuki have longer faces & are generally lankier, with Rui’s hair having slightly more sharper shapes & Mizuki’s hair having softer ones. Nene is rounder as well, but I felt like giving her a more angular aspect works well for her, since she’s more sharper in personality than Tsukasa & Emu are!

Rui & Emu hair brushing scene :] I imagine this scene occurs multiple times, each time having Rui request a different hairstyle (until they run out of ways to style it, of course).

lastly, one of the first sketches for this au, and one of my favorites. I needed to include Robo-Nene SOMEHOW, and “nene bomb” appealed to me greatly. Ruinene you will always be famous (even though this au does not have polyshow and thus, no ruinene…).

HOLDING UR HANDS. I HAVE SO MUCH OF THIS ANSWERED FOR MY AU BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!!!!! I won’t answer All fully bc. I wanna make some stuff into comics / art. but i can provide info trust

1. I like the idea of the sus quest containing both of them… in my mind I’m of the opinion that, in the original sus quest, both Odile and Isabeau are onto Siffrin- it’s just that Odile gets the whole picture first, with Isabeau being a detail or two behind + less active to address it. Nene & Mizuki ABSOLUTELY clock that something is off, but the way they both approach it differs. Mizuki would be more likely to be subtle about asking Rui if something is wrong- aiming for comforting him or making him feel seen, while Nene observes until the end and THEN confronts. I need to finish it up, but I have a comic of Nene being observant of Rui’s actions. She’s quick to notice and quicker to adress oddities.

3. YES!! The virtual singers play big roles for my au: as in, they get the non party roles that are still very important? I assigned Miku to the change god for the reason you stated!! That the virtual singers take upon thousands of appearances based around what the creator needs or desires/ reflects them. I have many thoughts about Change God Miku, it’d need its own post teehee.

4. THEY GET VERY ANNOYING . The ruikasa angle didn’t start my au, but it does make me sick. I’m a polyshow truther in my heart, a wxs enjoyer in general, I think about them and their dynamics (from both platonic and romantic angles) sooo very much. I want to explore the platonic bonds between everyone, which is the only reason I’ve restrained myself from making “I’m stuck in a timeloop and I’m in love with everyone in my party” (ft mizuki).

Hi hi! Just, you probably maybe already saw in my reblogs but, I adore your prsk X Isat au. I recent got into Isat and its been rotating non stop in my head and my brain always likes to combine my fandoms and see whatever I come up with. It's so nice to see sb else who also shares these fandoms and shares similar ideas. Literally was leaping for joy when I saw ur art. Thank you

(Also!! Your art style in general is so good. I love the way you draw characters. They are friggin ADORABLE can I eat them???)

HII!! YES I DID SEE UR REBLOGS THEY MADE ME SO HAPPY!!!! I so so understand… it’s so very fun to combine interests!! Isat especially has taken over my life- literally overtook the last remaining space that Cookie Run was inhabiting in my brain. It was catastrophic.

I am hoping that I’ll actually manage. To draw more of the PJSK au. Keeping up with drawing stuff is a struggle for me (especially with my senior year going on rn) but know that i rotate them in my brain so much always always ^^!!! if u have any thoughts abt the au pls feel free to share or ask bc i am literally sick and ill about these funny little guys.. I spent like 4 hours straight talking abt em once LMAO

1) I so agree with isabeau also being onto siff (i rmbr some of the triggers for the quest being realized by Isa!!) and I love how you reflected this onto you au. Ouuugh mizuki kinda subtle abt it while Nene being upfront...ouughh
