Watching the Paralympics and it's actually way cooler than the standard Olympics. I mean sure the primary Olympians are impressive but these women are fighting each other blind?!?
Akira Sone was born in 2000 in Kurume, Japan. At the 2019 World Judo Championships, Sone took first place in the women's over 78kg class. Two years later, at the Tokyo Olympics, she won the gold medal in the women's +78kg, becoming the youngest ever Olympic champion in that event. In 2023, at the age of 22, Sone won her second world championship title in Judo.
