The answer to the question of whether I love BG3 or hate BG3 is "yes"
#wonderful game. some of the best and worst writing you will ever see#nearly limitless options that also break whenever you test them a little too much#a wide variety of lovable characters and it's immediately obvious who the writers spent the most time on#and who they expect you to like and dislike#and all of them have been slightly sanded down to be palatable#women are allowed to be fighters and barbarians but still get bizarrely sexualized#at a rate that imo is disproportionate to the men#you're allowed to be evil but the game will go out of its way to remind you you're doing a Bad Thing#it absolutely deserves the praise and is also overhyped
