Drawing and Inking a page of Ultimate X-Men Comics (inks exercise)

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to re-design my take on Kate Howlett (Wolverine and Jean Grey’s daughter) and what she looked like as a baby.

As you can see, she took on her love of frogs from a very young age.

Of course, with my new found love for Moongirl and Devil Dinosaur, I had to draw Kate Howlett (AKA: Shine), Wolverine and Jean Grey’s daughter, and what she would look like in the show, both as a toddler and as a baby.  (And, in all honesty, I REALLY  hope we get the X-Men appearing in MG&DD soon!). I finally got around into drawing my take on Katherine Howlett (both my version and what she would look like in the 90’s animated series) digitally! (And yes, I forgot to add eye lashes on the left picture) (Created on Adobe Illustrator)

After drawing my version of Katherine Howlett (Wolverine and Jean Grey’s daughter from the “Spiderman: Renew Your Vows” comics), I figured, why not draw her and what she would look like in the 90’s X-Men cartoon. In an alternate take of the series, Jean rejects Cyclops and gets together with Wolverine. They settle down and start a family of their own, thus letting Wolverine (finally) have some sense of peace in his life (lets be honest, the man needs some happiness in his life).

Here’s something I drew that’s straight out of one of the fanfics I wrote. So, this is a scene from my Wolverine and the X-Men fanfic “My Girl”, which basically tells the story of the birth of Wolverine and Jean Grey’s daughter Katherine (AKA: Shine) *who is canon in the comic series “Spiderman: Renew Your Vows”*. Let me tell you that this was super hard to draw (especially the hand position and Wolverine himself) so I hope you all like it.
