For nearly two decades, the Bolton family has hosted the St. Patrick’s Day event at Jackson Park.  Per usual, the event in Wolford had a large attendance with the majority of the town members showing up and even some outsiders supporting the local pub and local shops.  Green beer was flowing and the crowd was having a wondrous time from all the different activities.

Yet, something suspicious was taking place behind the scenes.  Unbeknownst to the Bolton family, a trickster had something up their sleeves for the town of Wolford to ensure chaos would arise.  As the sun was setting and the stage for the river dancers was shining brightly, different towns members started to feel different, as if this compulsion was taking over them.

For these unfortunate souls, they were drugged with a potion that would last several hours.  At first, the individuals did not notice shaking off the feeling.  Yet, as it started to overtake they started acting on their impulses.  

The following members have been drugged with either a truth serum causing them unable to lie and saying whatever is on their mind or they were hit with a love potion causing them to be infatuated with the first person they saw.  It will be up to the player which they prefer with their character.

It is that time of year in Wolford, winter is nearing its end and the town is covered in green.  Yes, you guessed it.  St. Paddy’s Day!  For the last twenty years, Derry’s Pub has been hosting the event in Jackson’s Park to celebrate Irish culture and of course give the town a reason to gather around.

This year, we have our very own Daniel Bolton doing the cooking for the event.  Expect the following:  Shepherd’s Pie, Cottage Pie, Bangers & Mash, Corned Beef & Cabbage, Beef & Guinness Stew, and other fun dishes along with desserts.

Not only will the food be incredible, but there will also be a local band playing at the event and other different attractions from the local stores.

And for all you people out there over twenty-one, don’t worry the glasses will be flowing with a variety of different Irish spirits.

Participation: 3/11/22-3/20/22 Participation: Not mandatory Tags: Tag any entry to this as wolfordevent3 Description: In this event, no one will be paired off.  Instead, it will be open to everyone where the player may post a starter for the event, do closed threads for the event or respond to event starters.  Also, there will be an incident during this event and if you want one of your characters involved, please message the main so we can get everyone who wants to be included.  Not all characters will be involved, but we will make sure every player has at least one character part of the incident if you want to join in.  If you want a specific character involved, please clarify in the message to the main.  In addition, the local stores/establishments often contribute to the event. My Funny Valentine

The season of love is in the air and Wolford is feeling the affection. The town will be hosting a picnic in Jackson Park for people to be paired off at random to have someone to spend the holiday with. Sign-up and be paired off. It might not spark love but perhaps could be the start of a beautiful friendship. Does the nightlife appeal more to you than a mid-day picnic? Stoker will be running their own pairing off as well for a fun night out rather than a simple meal.  Sign-ups are open now! And may the day be kind to you all.

Winter Wonderland

No matter what your winter holiday season consists of Wolford has something for you. This little town takes it’s holiday season seriously from light competitions, snowman building extravaganzas in the park, to a town-wide (optional) Secret Santa. Every restaurant in town does special holiday and winter themed food and beverages. And, of course, ice skating nights down at the lake. So, come one come all and enjoy what holidays in Wolford have to hold- concluding with the firework show on New Year’s Eve in the center of town.
