Operation Wolfgiving: A Quest for a FULL Belly
Thanksgiving, the time to be thankfulā¦ and also the time to construct your battle plan in order to survive yet another year in the WOLF DEN.
When one ventures into the den for Wolfgiving it is important to have a plan.Ā Otherwise, you may STARVE.Ā For the wolves, Thanksgiving is not a time to be thankful instead it is a time to forage and fill their bellies for the long winter months ahead.Ā A belly must be strong and firm if they are going to survive another year selling Christmas trees.Ā The wolves show no sympathy or remorseā they will step over small children/pups and knock down old ladies in the name of their paunch!Ā Ā Lilā Foxie and i take Wolfgiving very seriously.Ā This is why each and every year we set aside time to plot and strategize to ensure the safety of our foods.Ā
Each year brings on new challenges, as the wolves find innovative ways to steal food.Ā Last year Lilā Foxie and i were presented with one of our biggest challenges yet:Ā THE FREELOADER FORK!
Why in heaven someone purchased such a weapon for the Wolves, is a mystery that will forever be unsolved.Ā With an extension of 21ā³ nothing is out their reach!
Unkie Mark Davisā the leader of the pack, finds this to be one of the most profound inventions ever created.Ā With the long reach provided by this utensil he does not even have to leave the comfort of his seat.Ā It is a powerful tool that has surely given him an advantage at Wolfgiving and assures that his belly will be fully satisfied.Ā
However, with my monster handsssss and Lilā Foxieās cat-like agility this year we are sure to find our bounty huge and our HAWAIIAN BREAD ROLLS a plenty.Ā Happy Thanksgiving to all.Ā And remember WATCH MORE MOVIES, like:Ā Rock nā Roll Nightmare - a film the older members of your family will enjoy. xoxo. Lil' Foxie Enters the WOLF Den
In this edition of Sundae Matinee,Ā pup journo Lil' Foxie joins us as a guest writer to recount the adventures & "tails" of WOLFGIVING.Ā What is WOLFGIVING?!Ā i was raised by wolves -- click to read all about it.Ā
77 miles from my porch to my Grandmother Wolf's porch, a glorious journey enjoyed from Mother's lap.Ā Joining me in the car was Father of course, Mr. Chow and our Auntie Rhys, not a bad person of interest for a cat lover.Ā We arrived at Grandmother Wolf's den to find the party in full swing as we were the last guests to arrive.Ā Some may say we were tardy, i prefer fashionably late.Ā
Tiny hats for sminy heads... find yours at:Ā a daily obsession Our entrance was perfect... as food was being shared and during the welcoming pat downs delectable morsels were dropped into our mouths.Ā Mr. Chow is always a bit cautious when this happens as he is not sure if it is truly happening or is he just dreaming.Ā I on the other paw know that it is PARTY TIME!Ā Turkey & filling, veggies too, a sliver of pie and I was one plump pup!Ā The wolves, as the uncles are known are a friendly sort and just love to pamper us.Ā
Head of the pack:Ā Unkie Mark Between being swooped up into armsssss and the stealth feeding I was getting exhausted & Mr. Chow was no better then I.Ā He had finally grasped that YES-in-DEEDY we were being fed from the table and mother and father were closing their eyes to the debacle of it all.Ā All good things must come to an end and end it did.Ā As I staggered to the car answering the call of nature I could not help but smile and give thanks for my family unit, the wolves, the cat lovers and my pawents.
