i.e. I was too tired to write last night and I have new colouring pencils so this doodle happened instead lol. Felt a bit nostalgic - I used to doodle scenes all the time when working on A Twist in Time. 🥲

Fanfic Update: Chapter 9 of What We Make of It

Chapter 9 of my blank period SasuSaku fic is up! Last chapter seemed to be a favourite, and if you liked the switch to Sasuke's POV, I think you'll like this one too. 👀 Soft trigger warning for this new chapter, as we delve into some of the story's mental health/recovery-from-trauma themes.

I'm loving writing this story so much. Im actually currently working on Chapter 13, but am giving myself a few chapters buffer between what I'm working on and what I post, as ive been needing to go back and edit more and more as the plot becomes more complicated. All of that to say, I can guarantee that the chapters will keep on coming. 🙌

Found myself doodling for the first time in years while brainstorming scenes for my WIP, What We Make of It.

Feels nostalgic since I did the same thing back in the day while working on A Twist in Time. I ain't no artist lol but find doodling kinda helpful for visualizing moments.

Oook we're doing this.

It has been YEARS since I've written a Naruto fic. Some ideas have been simmering but from a combo of life being chaos and some mental health/creative spark challenges, just haven't had it in me to run with them.

Till now. 😏

My first multi-chap SasuSaku fic since A Twist in Time is actually, for real, in the works. Set in the blank period. It'll be a blend of my favourite genres and tropes (ie romance/adventure/angst/action/fluff/slow burn/mutual pining). A bit self indulgent. Mostly an attempt to wake up that spark and my rusty writing skills.

Timing of first chap tbc but hopefully soon! I'm honestly just making this post to hold myself accountable lol 😆

New SasuSaku fic: First chapter is up!

Super excited to drop chapter 1 of my new SasuSaku fic, What We Make of It, which is my take on their love story during the Blank Period. It's shaping up to be a 20+ chapter romcom with splashes of action and angst along the way.

Today's sasusaku month theme is "From me to you" which feels fitting for this chapter, so thought I would drop it today. :)

Fanfic Update: Chapter 4 of What We Make of It

Just dropped chapter 4 of my blank period SasuSaku fic! I'm determined to keep the updates coming frequently, and so far, we're in good shape. 😊 Im actually currently working on chapter 8 (Im intentionally maintaining a few chapter buffer so I've got lots of time to go back and ruthlessly edit and change things before posting - I always do lol)

Oh and in case anyone noticed, I recently changed the story rating from T to M. This change is purely because of the anticipated spice. 😳 The level of violence/action will likely remain around T & be comparable to what we see in Naruto canon.
