romance-wise I do really hope the companions have some agency again and will flirt with you on their own and that it's not all just up to rook
#saint.txt#like I understand where ppl are coming from re: ninjamancing and dealing with characters you're not interested in flirting w/ you but#one of my biggest annoyances w/ inqui.sition was how they went too far in the other direction and basically every romance felt awkward#as fuck bc nobody ever really showed interest in you or felt like they were reciprocating bc you had to do all the work. and then suddenly#cutscene! they were interested in you all along! like it was weird. not to mention the weird power imbalance considering#you're technically all these guys' boss. idk if it's more inqui.sition style I'll live w/ it but I'll be disappointed#+ the flirt options sometimes coming in at really fucking weird and sometimes inappropriate times but you can't really skip 'em#without potentially putting your romance at risk! esp. if you're playing a character that like. wouldn't flirt right out the gate like that#which isn't and will not be Red. you get me? I just don't want to be railroaded into picking flirt options I wouldn't have done otherwise#bc if I don't do them my romance is potentially at risk of being missed.
