Never having been one for academics, Griffin had never set foot on the property of a university until today. He wasn’t quite sure where he was supposed to go, or how late he was – the SEAL had just landed that morning and rushed from the airport to the campus. His girlfriend would be graduating today, and he was not going to miss it. 

Dufflebag strapped over his sounder, the tread of his boots met the ground with great impact – he had broken into a run, the time pressure getting to him now. If he didn’t get to watch Valentina walk across the stage guilt would hang over him heavily. This was one of the biggest days of her life, and the surprise of him being there would just heighten the pride he knew she was already feeling. He near burst through the door of the auditorium, the mass collection of family, friends, and parents of graduands a shock to the man in uniform. He hadn’t expected such a larger crowd, but then again, it was Harvard. 

He was walking down the steps to meet Valentina’s father in the stands but he froze on the steps when he heard her name take the air. Would she see him, and the proud smile that spread across his face as she walked across the stage?

Morbid sense of humor--he's the type that would likely poke a dead body with a stick just to examine it closer. Southern accent, curious, intelligent, he's the type that will take apart something just to see how it works. A desire to know how the world works marks Addison's personality. He's the type of guy that would hide a body for someone he cared about.

Anna, Aubrey or Ezra

Anna, mostly because she wouldn’t really mind his humor by any stretch of the imagination or be off-put by a dead body. She’s the kind of woman that while he’s taking something apart, she will just walk around him and his mess to continue on with whatever she’s doing, or sit behind him with her arms around his waist and her head on his shoulder just watching... and not really be all that concerned about the dead body he buried. 

Aubrey, to tie into that curiosity and provide an opposite to his humor. She’s a bit naive, and definitely needs that kind of loyalty that he’s got going on. His humor she probably won’t really get or understand, but it won’t bother her by any means, and maybe even bring in a bit of sunshine to his life? 

Ezra because.... well I honestly don’t have a good answer to that one, but I just get the strongest feeling about it? Maybe cuz of the whole “taking shit apart” thing? Ezra would definitely share that ‘hide the body’ deal with him, and would probably buy him all kinds of kits and different things for Addison to use.
