Miruku had appeared before Momina with a small curly haired hamster that glowed with yellow flames. It was clear this wasn't a normal creature but a box animal.

"Wha!! Poor thing! What happened?!" Momina asked, hurrying over.

"I found it in Verde's trash!" He had replied. "Another defective box animal. Want it?"

Staring down at the little creature, Momina's eyes watered. "Of course...!! I'll take care of her...!!" They accepted the hamster from Miruku who looked very pleased.

The hamster came to be named "Shamshi," which means "of the sun," a fitting name for a sun flame box animal, Momina thought.

It was eventually revealed the reason why Verde considered this creature defective...Shamshi heals by sticking onto the target and passing their healing flames onto them as they're hurt. However, once its flames are spent, the creature would become as flat as a pancake. The solution should be then to ensure that it has a good source of flame, right? However, if too full, the hamster will become fit to near bursting full of flames, a ball, and unable to cling to the target to heal them. The creature unable to release the flames, struggles and is in distress. It's clear why Verde deemed it "defective." However, unfortunately for Verde, Miruku has taken to going through the inventions he tosses and collects them! He had amassed a collection of "defective" box animals for himself, but upon seeing the hamster thought: "Momina...? Oh! Let's give it to them." And saved another box animal!

Momina is someone who has trouble controlling her flames, it comes bursting out of her in a ridiculous display! This, of course, is terrible for Momina's health and quickly depletes her already low energy...so it didn't take long for them to see Shamshi struggling with Momina's flame input, a round distressed ball. Momina picked the hamster up and ran to Mister Reborn for help who only looked at the hamster and said:

"Well, that's no good." Pause. "Still want her?"

"Yes...!!!"

"Fine."

For a one, two combo, Reborn got Talbot to create a collar that would ensure Momina's flames remained at a steady output, this in turn, prevented Shamshi from being overwhelmed and Momina from being depleted. The two were thick as thieves since then!

Momina and Shamshi love and feel ever so indebted towards Miruku and Reborn! [Momina and Najib want to hit Verde in the shins, however.]
