Anyways here are some ship that I’m gonna write into my MCD rewrite because these characters deserve to be happy and gay + my reasonings

Aphmau/Katelyn/Zoey

LESBIANS. Aph and Katelyn had more chemistry than with the other love interests. Zoey was there for aph since day one. Zoey and Katelyn could bond over being protectors

Laurence/Garroth

They were too good for Aph, they compliment each others personality more than they could compliment aphs

Plus like the angst??? Laurence is in denial of being LGBT (homophobia exists </3) and acts aggressively straight. Garroth mistakes having a reliable, stable friend for having a crush.

Dante/Travis

Jess making Dante have a wife AND baby momma was cruel + unnecessary, I refuse to believe some type of contraceptive doesn’t exist in MCD.

Travis shouldn’t be with Katelyn (especially with the way they acted towards each other in canon). They don’t click and I refuse to make them act like they could 😾.

Nana/Lucinda

they so should fall in love, the rivalry???? The tension?? They deserve it

Also Lucinda would never be straight, let’s be real

Aaron/Jeffory the golden-heart

I hate that Jeffory DIED, my guy didn’t deserve that.

They essentially fill in what the other lost. Jeffory lost his wife and had to raise his daughter alone. Aaron lost his wife and kid. They could be good for each other.

Also I hate Aarmau with a BURNING passion 😼

An alternative couple was Aph/Garroth/Laurence

It could’ve been an actual love triangle instead of the stilt that we got

They work together really well as a trio but not as individual couples.

Instead of Alina, maybe Aph could have or adopt another son in s3 (because i’m a sucker for parallels) - credit goes to kurithedweeb

Zoey doesn’t sacrifice her immortality with the barrier (she does has to recover a heapton of mana though)  

Cadenza doesn’t turn into a chicken (a phoenix maybe?? idk)

Leona doesn’t exist (unless Zane has a redemption arc)

Dante & Nicole are just friends

Yip’s name is changed to Basil and Nekoette’s name is changed to Fuyumi

Nana’s name is changed to Natsumi Hayashi (which makes Nekoette’s full name to be Fuyumi Hayashi)

Angsty idea: Laurance and Aph having a argument which triggers one of Shad’s memories and Laur calls Aph Irene

Laurance being able to sense Shad’s presence and vise versa

Zane gaining a fear of the Nether and going from being the one in control to being controlled as a shadow knight by Shad

Aaron’s soul still lingering around like Terra (okay i’ll stop with the kingdom hearts references)

HC: Shad is largely seen as a evil force that should be vanquished, although there are few who believe that creation should exist with destruction, not without it  

Laurance mainly keeps his past life a secret in the beginning out of fear of how his loved ones would react and himself

This fear is what drives him to run away from Shad until he goes on a character arc

Maybe there’s a moment in the final fight where Laurance decides to merge with Shad because he’s done running 

The two fight in the mind and Laurance ultimately wins but not by defeating Shad, but accepting him 

The Demon Warlock gets banished into a prison dimension until he finds a way out in the future (aka Mystreet)

Hear me out, I may just really be Mystreet/MCD deprived but Hear me out I beg you.

Imagine Mystreet Aph being the new "Irene" and is the reason why for the new child-ish videos, it's exactly what the previous Irene did (MCD Lady Aphmau)

Lady Aphmau had created a new realm, new dimension or a new place where all of the people she knew, friend or foe, could live peacefully. She set a new timeline, a new path, a different way for her To be happy, and is through Mystreet Aph.

Lady Aphmau had used most of the Relic's left over strength to create this new realm for her to see what it would be like if all the bad things in MCD never happened. A place where Zane isn't some evil priest with a cross waging war on everything, a timeline where she isn't pressured by her thoughts of being Irene, where she doesn't have big responsibilities, where everyone she new and loved had the life they deserved, and mostly an alternate home where Aaron is alive. In the end she knew Mystreet Aphmau isn't her life to live. After years, decades, centuries even, She finally rests in the hands of judgement.

But what exactly happened before Lady Aphmau became Irene? a TL;DR of my Theory of this is that, she had exchanged her life in the Mortal world to replace Irene in the "Irene dimension". I personally believe the reason Irene in MCD wasn't able to pass to the after life was because there no one to take her place in the "Irene Dimension" or whatever dimension it was that helps the universe stay in shape. Irene wasn't able to lay and rest in judgement because no one would look after all of these Realms and dimensions.

So during Shad and Lady Aphmau's battle in that one episode in MYSs6, I believed that Lady Aphmau had accepted Irene's full power and relic to be able to save Alina and return everything "the way it should be"

(Miraculous: Lady bug style yk?)

But her accepting Irene's full power meant that, Irene was finally able to pass to the other side, which left the "taking care of the realms" responsibility to Lady Aphmau.

Now let's take a look at what happened to MYS Aphmau.

MysAphmau is the reincarnation of Lady Aphmau, me personally, MysAphmau is the "carefree" side of Lady Aphmau, the side of Lady Aphmau where she has no worries, where she can do whatever she likes, whenever she likes.

I take it when Aphmau died, and was going to be sent back to the Mortal realm was the part when basically MCDAphmau is passing the torch of power down to MYSAphmau.

So MYSAphmau wakes up, beats a demon's ass, and dies part 2, wakes up to realize most of her friends are traumatized (not dead surprisingly) and finds that Lucinda can't do magic, Zane can remember but talks in A.I., and lastly Aaron, who doesn't remember her.

You could imagine how devastated home girl must be, hiding from men with guns, coming back from the dead, meeting Gods, witnessing her friends absolutely lose their shit, opening realms, just to find out her Fiancé, no longer remembers anyone. Not even her.

Now this is where I insert my ✨personal timeline✨, Now MysAphmau is the new Irene, MCDAphmau now resting in the afterlife, No one is there to take care off the realms.

MysAphmau, too devastated, too ashamed to face her friends and accept all of their problems and all of their difficulties, especially seeing Aaron the man she was Destined to be with, no longer remembering her or anyone really. Accepts that she's the new person to take care of the thousands of realms left to her by her former ancestors??? Former–Goddess–Leaders?? Former–idontknowanymore.

Basically instead of facing her friends and family, she decides to step up and be the new Irene, this is where the new videos come in.

Now that MysAphmau is in control of everything, no Godesses to tell her what to do, think, and make (considering the Relic holds both Irene and MCDAphmau's memories), She decides to repeat history and create a new realm, once again.

Same reasoning as the relic holder before her, she just wants to see all of them happy.

But it just doesn't stop there, this would explain why the videos are repetitive of the old ones. It's MysAphmau reliving her life, it's MysAphmau trying to push all of the conflict and trauma behind her and stay in the past before all of these overwhelming–otherworldly things happened to her.

Not only is MysAphmau trying to relive her past but she's also trying to make up for lost time, and creating fantasies she's always wanted, these scenarios she's created include and are not limited to:

•finally getting to marry Aaron — as we all know Aaron's kinda yk, half dead rn, blind and has amnesia. Pretty self explanatory, we could see how excited Aphmau was for the day they were going to get married.

• finally having a loving family — as we saw in the new videos, suprise, Zack and Slyvanna get along, even call eachother loving names. Something a child of divorce and abandonment would love, and I mean would LOVE to experience, no matter how icky and yucky it may seem, to Aphmau's eyes having both a loving mother and a supportive present father, would've meant the world to her, especially seeing as what Aphmau went through during her Child–adolescence years.

•Getting herself a sister — Arina has been showing up too, and as we can remember in starlight (and maybe even season 1 and PDH) Aphmau was obsessed about having an older sibling, she was always envy about Zane having Garroth, and Aaron having Melissa. She had always wanted an older sibling to run to about her problems, hence Arina.

• There was also family videos with Aphmau and Aaron having kids but I don't really wanna touch that.. the thumbnail alone scares me.

• There's more I could say but let's keep this short I still have a series to write, but another thing these videos have in common is that in the end, Aphmau is always happy. There is not a single video where in the end she cries and suffers or stay mind controlled, she always ends up saved and laughing by the end. This further suggests that MysAphmau unlike MCDAphmau had the balls to keep changing the plot of the story so that the new videos–Aphmau, would never have to feel the pain and suffering she went through.

Another thing i'd like to mention is the surrounding places of these new videos—

(FYI, yes, I know they make the scenery simplistic and color-coded because they are showing this to children, and children need things to be handed to them on a silver plate but seriously stay with me on this one)

Unlike the scenery in both MCD and MYS, the new videos seem to generate places, not as "pretty" as the realms before, I'd like to connect this with the fact that the current relic Aphmau holds is very weak, it's gone through centuries and centuries of over-usage and imbalance, so of course it wouldn't generate a world so beautiful such as MCD and MYS, because it's so weak and fragile now the best it can do is to put a few houses, make a few roads, spawn a few vehicles, but it can no longer generate realms that compare to the beauty of MCD and MYS.

•Personally, I'd like to make this a series, after my Prequel-Parents rewrite, The story would basically be—as I said—Would start with a devastated aphmau leaving the world of MYS to create her own world, but this time MysAphmau's friends are trying to reach and travel to her, crossing dimensions to help her heal, to be able to reach her and tell her whatever she's feeling is what they all feel aswell. She shouldn't be ashamed because she had done all she could and that was enough.

To me personally this is the season 7 that I would love to see. But who am I to say this, I'm just some girl who sleep, eats chips, and has asthma. See ya'll on the next one.

STUFF I DIDNT LIKE IN MCD SEASON 2:

• Right of the bat I’m just gonna say this season is a hot mess

• what is even going on here

• Why is Phoenix Drop so...untouched? Like yes it’s grown old with age but also everything looks ok not like burnt to the ground or anything

• I’m SURE Zane would have told someone in O’Khasis where he was going especially the Jury and you’re telling me that none of them care?? Not even Janus? His fave juror?

• If I were Janus I’d burn it down just sayin

• Why is Irene’s relic so glorified? I SHOULVE INCLUDED THIS IN THE LAST POST BUT WHY TF DOES ZANE NOT USE ESMUNDS RELIC LIKE WHYYY

• I don’t like how Irene has healing and everyone goes wow but we NEVER GET TO SEE ESMUNDS RELIC (I haven’t rewatched MCD in a while if he does use it lmk and ignore the above :) thx) I’m sure it’s pretty powerful considering in s3 Shad says “a spell by Esmund?” when he sees the protective barrier thing around the portal so it’s powerful and the Irene Dimension fight would have gone different with it

• Why does Aphmau act like a shit friend by venting to Laurance and then ditch him when he needs her most? Like you can’t just keep dumping your problems on him he’s got his own to deal with be supportive

• I LOVE VYLAD that’s it that’s all I have to say

• tho I wish we could have seen more of him and the relationship he shared with his brothers cuz angst time

• HOW is Aphmau able to disguise herself as Zane and WHY do people not question it? She has a different build and body structure, different colored eyes, two eyes not one, tan skin and some chest like cmon that disguise is fooling NO ONE also why is it normal for ‘Zane‘ to show up fifteen years after he was last seen? Why does this make no sense

• This may seem a bit much and honestly you’re welcome to your own opinions on it but I feel as though Zane should have had more of a role in s2. Hear me out. The way his character is written is that his untouchable status as a high priest is a big part of his character. It’s why he’s able to get away with so much shit. Removing that like in s3 ruined him (for me) and not using him at all in s2 seems like wasting a perfectly fine (albeit unoriginal) antagonist. Yes it would mean pretty much everything would change but yknow what maybe it needs to

• AARON. That’s it he’s the problem. In my opinion Aarmau should never have happened. Aph is a lord and doesn’t have time for a romantic relationship. Aaron is a broken shell of a man who definitely doesn’t have the time for a romantic relationship. They speak like 5 times properly and even then it’s nothing overly romantic (as far as I know?). I don’t think naming a child counts as romantic I always saw it as familial?? Aarmau ended being a one night stand that caused Aph so much grief and all through I was just thinking that it should never have happened anyway. They should’ve had a strong platonic bond instead. QUEERPLATONIC RELATIONSHIP. Imagine. it would’ve been so much better. It would’ve brought awareness to a community that is not always shown in the spotlight but is as deserving of it. Why does Aaron stick around after Zane is in the Irene Dimension anyway? Didn’t he say that he was there solely for revenge? Isn’t his part done? Why is he still trailing after Aphmau

• THAT DEATH SCENE THO. Zane and Aaron both die from some unknown magical thing. what is it? I have no clue all I remember is that Aph found it somewhere. someone remind me? I don’t understand why Zane was killed off in the very way they were trying to avoid in s1 I get it it’s been fifteen years real time but...it seemed so underwhelming for me. Anyone else?

• Ive seen a lot of people mention this one before but Laurence should’ve been Shad’s descendant not Aaron it didn’t make sense to me

• WHAT IS THE POLITICAL SYSTEM OF O’KHASIS. It’s such a crucial part of MCD yet we never hear of it at all. Since Aph is a lord it matters a lot. I can elaborate more on this if anyone wants me to!!

• WTF is the lore here. In ep 100 Hyria says that Irene had no children and in ms s6 flashbacks I see a child? Whose is it? What is going on??

Aphmau vs Shad

She hadn't been expecting the attack. He had been quick and sudden, seemingly appearing out of the shadows themselves just to kill her. She'd managed to defend herself just fine, summoning her sword and turning around quick enough to stop from having her head cut off.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Irene." His voice is like nails on chalkboard, making her want to flinch. She keeps it together though, as she knows she can't show any sign of weakness.

"Shad." She spits his name out as if it's poison, and it earns a chuckle from the realm breaker. "My name is Aphmau." She pushes back against his sword with her own, fighting for ground. Fighting to prove she's able to defeat him without help.

"No it's not. Don't lie to yourself Irene. You know who you are! You even have your relic!" He easily gains more power over her, and he pushes force against her sword, sending her skidding back.

"Yeah, I do. Unlike you." That comment gets to him, and a red tint appears in his eyes, a growl escaping his throat.

"That won't matter soon. Once I've killed you, I'm going for your daughter, and I will rip my relic from her body if I must!" His voice seems so much louder than it actually is, but maybe that's just the blood she hears rushing through her ears.

"Aaron would never let you," she growls out, doing her best to keep her expression neutral.

"I wouldn't." It's Aaron, if only for a split second. The lord of the shadows shakes his head, readjusting his grip on the handle of his crimson red broadsword.

"Aaron won't be able to stop me once you're dead, Irene. The only thing keeping him fighting is you, and once you're out of the picture, he'll fade away, never to be remembered." At that, the ex-lord lets out a war cry, rushing towards Shad, her sword at her side, ready for her to make an attack. Before she can even attempt to make a slash at him, he kicks her in the chest, sending her flying backwards.

Aphmau hits a tree hard, leaving a good dent. She then falls to the ground, her vision fuzzy and the wind knocked out of her. Her sword is somewhere in front of her, and attempts to grab it, able to see Shad making his way towards her. He will kill her if he gets the chance, and he's relishing in his quick victory.

"You've really lost your touch, haven't you Irene? You used to be able to stand a chance against me!" He's taunting her, trying to get into her head and call Irene out of hiding. She doesn't want that, as she knows Irene won't stand a chance either. There's a reason that the other divine warriors were needed to seal Shad away.

She finally gets her hand on the handle of her sword, and goes to pull it towards herself, but Shad plants his foot on her hand, causing her to let out a whimper and release the blade. He then kicks the sword behind him, putting Aph at even more of a disadvantage. "Aphmau, let me help you," Irene whispers to her, and she blocks the goddess out. She wants this to be her fight with Shad. Not Irene's.

He grabs the back of her armor, his hand inches away from the back of her neck, holding her up to stare into his eyes. His sword was down at his side, pointed towards the ground. She formulates a plan, staring Shad dead in the eye, unflinching. "How does it feel to be powerless Irene? This is how I felt for CENTURIES because of you and your warriors! I—GAH!" She cuts him off, reaching her hands out and jabbing her thumbs into his eyes. He drops both her and his sword, stumbling backwards and covering his eyes.

She runs towards her sword, ducking under Shad's arm and sliding down next to the blade. She grabs the item and jumps back to her feet, running back at Shad to stab him. However, he's quicker to recover than she hopes and he catches the blade with his hand, his armored gloves protecting him. He yanks the blade out of her hands, making her stumble forward a bit, before throwing it, getting it embedded in the trunk of a tree.

"YOU IDIOTIC LITTLE GODDESS!" he roars, picking her up by her neck and holding her above him, his eyes pure red. She can feel herself freeze, catching Irene mumbling something to herself. "YOU CANNOT BEST ME! YOU ARE A HEALER, AND USELESS ON YOUR OWN IN BATTLE!" She wants to protest, but the hand around her neck makes that hard. He's not choking her, he's just holding her above him, as if he can't truly bring himself to kill her. It's most likely that Aaron is doing his best to fight the former divine warrior. Shad has no compassion for her or any of the other relic holders. They're just in his way.

He makes his way to his sword and picks it up before throwing her down. She lands on her back, scratching herself on a rock when she lands. Why is she in such a bad situation? Shad then swings his broadsword at her, and she catches it, her own gloves coming to her rescue.

"What's the point of trying to block the attack Irene? You'll die today anyways, whether it be with this attack or a different one." His eyes had returned back to their black color, and her heart hurts. Under different circumstances, this could have just been a friendly spar between her and the other ex-lord. Something they'd laugh about later that week as she didn't manage to get an actual sword swing on him.

"Aaron. Shad. Aaron. Shad. Aaron. Shad." It's a constant montra in her head. Who is she truly fighting? Which one will truly die? The questions swarm her head, and she grunts as Shad puts more pressure on the sword, making her struggle more to keep it from her neck. She's really going to die here.

"Aphmau, this isn't Aaron. This is Shad. Let me fight him!" Irene still wants to be part of the action, but the ex-lord ignores the goddess again, knowing it wouldn't make a difference right now.

"Irene, I hope you know this is all your fault. You could have stopped all of this, had you just told Esmund and Kul'zak to give up on winning your affections!" More anger from the former divine, and more pressure on the sword. Before her eyes, she sees a flash of Aaron in his black hoodie, holding the point of his sword to her neck as he bested her in another sparring match yet again. She longs for that to be the truth. "Now, enough stalling. Goodbye Irene!"

The sword is so close to her neck, and she closes her eyes, letting herself confirm that this is the end for her. Suddenly, the pressure of the sword disappears, and she's pulled up off the ground. "Aphmau, run. He will chase you for as long as he's able. I'll do my best to let you get a headstart."

"Aaron—," she's cut off quickly, Aaron pressing his lips to hers. Honey brown eyes meet onyx ones, and Aaron lets go of her arm.

"Run as far and as fast as you can, and keep Alina safe. You can't let him get the relic." Aphmau goes to speak again, and he shakes his head, already seeming to be having trouble staying in control for this long. So, she takes one more look at the father of her daughter, before turning and bolting, doing her best to keep herself together.

Next time she sees him might be the last, and that does nothing to stop the tears that fall from her eyes or the ball of anxiety she feels forming in her chest. She is being hunted again, and she knows once she's trapped in a corner, she'll have to let Irene take control.

But, Irene isn't a safe bet, and neither is Aaron.
