#wistfully recalling when I used to buy boxed vegetable broth and cereal every week

went to a local grocery store and perused some cereal. i earned myself some serious sticker shock. got curious and looked up the chain grocery store pricing- the cereal i used to buy is now $5. i stopped buying cereal when it went from $3 a box to $4. I haven't even looked at it in a while. store brand oat milk at the chain grocery store now costs what i used to pay for oatly. a brick of tofu is $3.79 the prices keep going up and the packaging keeps getting smaller ground meat is apparently like $8 a pound right now so don't act like it's the being vegan that's expensive. vegan is only expensive if you're eating convenience food a lot, that's not what i'm bitching about. I got <$1 annual cost of living adjustment last month. whose fucking cost of living increase is that adjustment for? it's not mine that's for damn sure
