Today was amazing! We went to the Epcot canter and the magic kingdom! We got to see a ton of cool stuff and ride all the rides :) I don't care if the fault in our stars thinks I "wasted my wish". To me it's a wish well spent... To four more days for magic and fun! Oh and I got to see two of my really close friends! Dinner at @monkeypodkitchen 💕⠀ The glass is half full⠀⠀ The glass is half empty ⠀⠀ Maybe it doesn’t matter what we call it. 🤔 Maybe what matters is what we do with it? Find a solution.. and if there is no solution, search until we figure something out OR we can accept it for what it is and find peace within it. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I have found so much inner peace within my cancer diagnosis of who I am and what my mission is in this “life” but it has also driven me to LIVE. There is no solution to my cancer “no cure”.. I am not angry about this but I am also not ready to leave this world— so I will continue to search until I find my cure and create the awareness that the women diagnosed deserve. We deserve to be seen and heard. We deserve to have the stats that haven’t changed in over 50 years, finally change. One in two women diagnosed will die within 5 years and that needs to become a thing of the past. We need to be able to say WE DID IT!! WE SURVIVED!! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Today we said our goodbyes to my parents on the big island and said hello to @fourseasons Maui. We’re only here for a short stay then home to reality. Once home I will dive back in deep to searching for my miracle treatment that will “fix me” “save me”. Samuel said he wanted "to get splashed on by killer whales." So our first adventure was Sea World and the Shamu show. We were in the very first row right in the center - best seats in the house. Our mission was a success. We got an up close view of the whales and DEFINITELY got splashed on. @seaquesthawaii snorkel tour. ⠀⠀ Our family has been through the ringer and back, and today here we sit in the middle of the Pacific Ocean drawing energy from the vast amount of life that surrounds us. ☀️🌊🐠 ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ So often we look at life so superficially. We look around and see with our eyes that no one is there, our phone isn’t ringing.. no “likes” on our social media. My dear friends.. that isn’t real. Every living thing is energy and we have the power to connect with and draw from that energy. We need to start “feeling” more and “looking” less. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I’ve been receiving chemotherapy since February 2018 with only a few months off between March-May 2019. My body is tired, frequently in pain and I may not be “happy” all of the time but every day I try. I show up. I fight. And I promise you this, I will never give up. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ This trip means the world to me. To renew my vows with the love of my life, and have our children there to whiteness fills my bucket list to the top. But now that we’re here I’m realizing it is so much more than that. There truly is magic in these islands and in these waters. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Today I hopped in that ocean and I snorkelled with my family. Yes, I may have tired out a little quicker than everyone else.. but I did it and I had a blast. I am alive!!!!
