still thinking about the dream machine game... also been thinking about octopi. the dream machine is like an octopus to me
#kcat talks#wish there was an easier way to distinguish between the game and the machine itself rip#but like. - tentacles - round dome head - it can disguise itself (as dream characters)#- unexpectedly intelligent (octopi being one of the further from humans evolutionarily that developed intelligence; vs sentient machine)#- brain neurons in each tentacle - can control each dream independently / not fully dead til all tentacles are#i watched like 10 minutes of youtube octopi vids idk how accurate these are lol#- uses its tentacles to explore (in dm's case; just exploring the dream world)#also that one thing about octopi changing color at night indicating they might dream?? dunno#anyway: it's octopus#totally not neurons getting crossed from playing side order relatively soon before dream machine#and seeing a sentient machine w black tentacles that can influence peoples minds and being like. 'oh like overlorder :)'#i have Ideas about the dream machine btw ive been making a gijinka of it. its my blorbo now. get fucking blorbofied.#i dont think anyone would care if i made content of it bc its obscure but. perhaps i will#thinking of doing that one thing where you steal a canon character to become your own oc with some changes >:3
