The Blake lively this is people are turning on her because 1) she got married on a plantation and tired to say she didn't know the history of it while also having a website dedicated to bringing back the antebellum era and 2) with the movie it ends with us coming out the movie is based on a book about domestic violence and she is trying to market it as a rom com to dress up and take your ‘girls too’ and also using this film as a way to promote her hair care line people who have read the book and are dv survivors have rightfully called her out. Since that call out happened people have also been quick to notice some of the other things that she has been doing on this press tour and admitting that Ryan had broken the WGA strike by rewriting lines during filming. It was also made known that after Blake had iced out the director, co-writer, and fellow actor in the movie in June there was a screen test done where audiences watched 2 cuts of the film. One being the current cut that is playing at theaters, and the other cut that Blake had made using the deadpool editor that made the movie a rom-com and minimized the domestic violence. The author of the books was in full support of Blake but the author is also paying off people to keep their mouth shut about her son being an abuser and rapist.

I don't doubt that she's been racist selfish bitch for most of her career what I do doubt is that everyone else suddenly cares about what Blake Lively does. I think people are just happy to hate women, tbh. And idk why people are mad at Blake Lively for doing her job and promoting her haircare when Colleen Hoover is the one making movie deals off a book she wrote about DV 🤧

Like I'm here for cancelling shitty people or whatever, but I wish it was genuine..nobody actually cares Lively got married on a plantation. i was the one who wrote the post about jk choosing/proritising his 97 liner friends over jimin. i guess i was harsh with my wording and i think it was caused because of the lack of jikook in a way (sounds stupid i know) we dont know how much time is left before all remaining four members enlist in the military (they would enlist this year itself, that much is clear) and there's a chance jimin would leave soon seeing most of his schedule is done (that we know of) and i was expecting a jikook live before the torturous two years we'll have to go through without them but i dont really see any chance of that happening now. jk also has music bank on jm's birthday and we know its a really tiring event and it can take a full day to get done with the whole thing, so chances of jk and jm interactions are again very slim.i think i just miss them and desperately wanted to see them. i know just because we dont see them doesn't mean they dont interact off cam but i wanted to see them on a live or tiktok or something. so seeing jungkook make tiktoks with that mingyu during both seven and 3d era just...ruffled my feathers in a way. also saw a lot of 'gyukookers' on my tl so yea that was annoying as well. i kinda assumed jm won't be in the live as it was a post-album announcement live, but still...

so yea, knowing that jungkook won't be much active on jm's b'day and not getting the oct 4th live as well kinda saddened me. does not excuse my behaviour but that's what happened.

i just finished watching disenchanted for the first time! (late to the party, i know - i just had been putting it off because i love the first one SO much)

i liked it more than i thought i would!

morgan’s solo (i don’t know what the song is called) was my favorite, surprisingly. her and tyson were so cute.

sophia is also the cutest baby i’ve ever seen, i’m not even exaggerating.

it definitely wasn’t perfect but i would watch it again!

i didn’t think i’d say this either but if they were to make a third film (which they probably won’t) i’d be open to it - IF they brought kevin lima back.

it's a fun time !!

definitely not better than the first movie, but I can't bring myself to dislike it, despite having a few complaints myself. like idk I know it came fifteen years too late, and was a bit unnecessary, but seeing the Philip family again, and especially seeing married Robselle, I just, urg, I love it.

AND AHH SOFIA... I only watched the first trailer when it dropped because I didn't want to see too many spoilers/I wanted to go in blind, but when I saw they had a baby, ough, I lost my mind. Seeing them interact with their little baby was probably the thing I was looking forward to the most. Which, sadly, she doesn't get much screen time, but that's okay !!!! Just knowing they had another kiddo made me so happy, and that's what fanfic is for, I suppose 🤧

I also love that the Philips and the Tremaines are basically family, too, it's so cute!! Them being Sofia's godparents was so perfect. I wish they had more scenes together, but just knowing they're as close as they are warms my heart :')

Speaking of Morgan, I love her actress so much, she was so perfect in that role. And her voice is so pretty !! There's a deleted song with her and Tyson called Something Different this Year that I listen to all the time, it's very cute.

and yes !! Kevin, and Bill Kelly have to come back. Kevin would've never sidelined Robert the way the new writers did 😔 (which is probably my biggest complaint overall. not enough Robert, or Robselle, or Robert with his daughters,,, very tragic as a Robert lover)

Our skyy 2- Wrap Up

Since this is an anthology and I, being the simp that I am, have watched all of the original shows, I thought it'd be fun to rank all the episodes.

The thing is, even though I have watched all of the shows, my opinion on these episodes are very reliant on my opinions of the original show as well. Meaning if I loved the original show and the our skyy episode was meh, it might be ranked lower than shows I didn't feel so highly about, but the our skyy episode delivered. Anywho-

7. Sky in your heart (ep 3-4)

Tbh I wasn't the biggest fan of the original show, but this episode was very in tone with said show. It was overall, cute. The greenflags were greening with the communication and lack of jealousy. You go boys! Live your happiest life.

But I did miss the other pair of the show (idk if you can technically count it as this show since they were two 7 episode series, but I would have liked to see even a cameo from them). Good vibes. I liked it.

(what i didn't like in a side note is the chunky ring design)

6. My school president (ep 9-10)

To anyone who hasn't already, you havvvveee to go watch the original show. It is so sweet it will give you diabetes. And I loved the concept of this episode.

As a fanfic author I was mostly here for the validation that all our headcanons are canon. But, it felt like a highlight reel with roles reversed. Which is interesting but 2 episodes wasn't enough time to develop that story.

For what they attempted they did aight! I kinda wish we got something more post canon in their universe, happy cute boyfriends™, but yk. It's okay. More Fourth and Gemini always makes me happy. Plus the cast seemed to have fun filming it if the behind the scenes are any indication.

5. A boss and a babe (ep 11-12)

Listen, half the excitement of our skyy is missing these characters. So it was surely a choice by gmm to time this episode riiiighhhttt after the finale of the show.

That being said, this episode was pretty dang fun. Am I still mourning the loss of multiple unresolved storylines from the show they set up and literally forgot about- yes (Drake, you deserved better🤧). But considering our skyy 2 is the biggest "who took my FANFIC out of ao3 and into YouTube" plot ever, I'll overlook it.

This episode managed to do what neither enchanté nor abaab did- show me the appeal of forcebook. They are very cute in light-hearted settings. I'm yet to see them thrive in the drama, but only friends is happening soon... Soooooo

4. Never Let Me Go (ep 1-2)

Now thiss was a perfect soulmates AU for TV (or YouTube in this case) if I've ever seen one. We got the time travel, the drama, the classism all wrapped in a ball of all fluff and no angst. They understood the assignment.

Again. I missed my second couple (I am Perth Stan, I can't help myself. The 6 of us who demanded justice for Chopper, I see you!) But I didn't miss them too much, coz the premise was fun.

(I also loved the house set that they had!! I wanna go visit it if it's real!)

3. The Eclipse (ep 5-6)

These two episodes are single-handedly responsible for increasing the average number of kisses in Our Skyy. I wasn't even expecting this many? Even if it was basically just prep for Khao and First in Only friends, I'm still here for it.

It was also surprisingly an episode that caused a lot of debate about Akk and/or Ayan being out of character, which I didn't expect, but have my opinions on.

But overall, it was an extremely sweet episode with political and social commentary that the show had, but commentary lite. The locations were fantastic! I honestly just want more First and Khao in everything, please and thank you.

2. Bad Buddy x A Tale of a Thousand Stars (ep 13-16)

Speaking of who took my fanfic out of ao3, OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. I knewwww we can trust in P'Aof for delivering a story. BUT DID I EXPECT HIM TO PUT ALL MY FAVS IN THE SAME SCREEN AT THE SAME TIME???? What great times we're living in *sighs in bl*.

Watching EarthMix slip back into phuphatian was a pleasure. Ohm and Nanon are sooo awesome! I missed Pat and Pran so much. The crossover could have easily gone into the forced-for-fanservice territory, but they had a plot for it!🤌🏼

They brought back characters that felt like home. Even the conflicts were so lived in. It is self aware in what small things can blow out of proportion.

Watching Pat and Pran in their college years hiding their relationship after reading countless fanfics about it- just, tears. Thanks! I love them. I missed them. I'm living for this. I see why this was at the end. Worth all the hype and more.

Still screaming about this, and have been for two weeks. Will keep you updated on when or if I stop.

Buuuut the reason I didn't rank this at the top is because we didn't get enough bad buddy in the crossover. I loved both the shows, but i feel like pat pran were slightly overshadowed. I was lowkey cringing by the end too with the second atots recreation of the series!? Oh god. But we got a proposal! And the confirmation it's an open secret?!? And whatever tf it was that korn and wai were doing backstage🤡. So it was almost in the number one spot, it's just that I preferred my actual number one spot episode more.

1. Vice Versa (ep 7-8)

Did I expect vice versa to be this high on my list, nope. Did I fall and virtually adopt this kid as soon as he came on screen... Maybe👀. Are Jimmy and Sea climbing up on my couples i can't wait to see more of this yes- also maybe.

But even otherwise, I think this episode had the most solid and cohesive storyline. Everyone felt familiar and acted in character. They even wrapped up the whole random-kid-showed-up-at-our-front-door plot surprisingly well. Like if you watched the episode, they left very clear hints.

They even kept the colour theme (even though multi colour isn't technically a colour, would have gone with white or black maybe, but that's just me).

I did not expect this to be my number 1. Actually, i was barely even looking forward to this episode. But it was a pleasant surprise.

And I was shooketh, considering my biggest complaint about the original show was that they left too many threads loose.

Jimmy and Sea were so good! Got me even more excited to see them in Last Twilight (in P'Aof we trust).

I’m curious to know your thoughts on Agent Elvis and if you thought it did him justice

oop- so I have an Elvis sin to confess… I actually haven’t watched Agent Elvis yet 🤧 however I thoroughly enjoyed everybody thirsting over cartoon Elvis when it first came out

it’s nothing against the show or Priscilla but with the exception of the 2022 film, I tend to not be interested in depictions of Elvis simply because it’s not really Elvis and I only like him lmaoo

and for that reason Elvis impersonators also sadly don’t do anything for me, I wish I could enjoy them but in my head I’m just constantly comparing them to real Elvis. like if you weren’t born in 1935 and named Elvis Presley then I’m not interested 😤

but some fans were going way too overboard with their dislike for the show and were literally harassing people that said they enjoyed the show (especially on Instagram). They were saying that the show disrespected his memory and that it was too vulgar for Elvis, and I’m like are we talking about the same Elvis? because the man could get vulgar, just listen to any studio session in the 70s

idk I might give it a watch somewhere down the line solely because of this 🥵 and if they ever do more seasons I’m definitely tuning in for an animated big daddy elvis

I love love love scream, I live and breathe that first movie 😭 my next favs in the series are 4 and 3 (controversial i know i know but its funny i cant help it). I can't choose a favorite of those four because I love the story as a whole. Well, I do hold the first one a little closer to my heart because watching Scream with my mom and my older brother is pretty much the first memory I have of life so I've loved it about that long lol.

Horror is a great phase to have haha although I will say, I enjoy that time in horror than I do of the horror films now. They're either too much or too cheesy nowadays, which I feel bad about saying but I like being entertained and scared, not disturbed. And cheesiness is best for romcoms, not horror hahaha

I also love dramatic romances (clearly haha) and especially romcoms!! I wish I could write a great romcom but I excel more in long dramatic monologues than I do at jokes and all of the tropes that are consistent with the genre. But I am a HUGE romantic. I love all of the feels.

Hahah I feel like if you like Scream, you cannot avoid The Vampire Diaries since the creator and screenwriter for Scream also wrote for the show.

I feel the same way about the "it's an automatic 5 stars golden globe academy award winner" part because when I love something I love it with every fiber in my being.

Oh, I could write a whole book about that. Hehe. But was it describes it best are probably some swearing words shouted out loud with a prize cell phone-against-wall throw. Joking aside, even if it’s pretty accurate. My main thought is of course sadness that it ended. And disbelief at this incredible cliffhanger Everbyte gave us with Hannah.

The end was incredibly dramatic.

But I must honestly say, that Richy killed himself in the fire... I find a little pointless (?) I know it sounds mean.

I can understand Everbyte’s decision because, I mean, it has made everything even more dramatic and emotional. But in itself I think it would not have been necessary. At least not for me, but maybe there was still a real boom missing, because so many already knew that Richy is the perpetrator.

I wish we had some answers to unanswered questions, because there are still many unresolved issues. I would also have liked to talk to the whole group again. Especially with Hannah, of course.

But there was immediately the information about the sequel, I was sure that we will hopefully get this opportunity and we will get some more answers. That’s why I don't want to complain. But if it doesn’t happen in the new game I have to say that I find it very sad and a little unfair.

But I’m only in the player’s position, so I think I should accept it the way Everbyte wants it. That’s okay with me.

The cliffhanger with Hannah when she suddenly jumps up is of course incredibly mean and I would eat a broom if Everbyte would tell me then what she saw.

I think we’ll get an answer in the new game, I’m sure she saw Jake, but the uncertainty and curiosity is too much and I would like to know right now!

As mentioned, I think it has to do with Jake. Maybe he was arrested by the FBI and Hannah jumped up when she saw that they were leading him out of the mine. If Jake is in the new game, then I accept and love it. But when he gets arrested and we doesn’t hear from him anymore, I hate it because it would break my heart completely. 🤧 I need more Jake. Much more.

Well, otherwise I can only say that I find it incredibly admirable how much effort Everbyte has put into the end. It really caused all emotions, especially shock and despair and confusion. But the video, the call between Richy and Jessy.

The last conversation with Richy, wow, a pretty heavy thing, but it made the end an incredible one. And the effort and the quality that Everbyte has put in there is just incredible: actors, costumes, filming, everything.

In my opinion, episode 10 was a very successful ending and I’m curious how the new game will continue. I’m scared too, but I can’t wait.

Hi. It’s me, Fanfic Anon #2. This is just a quick little piece. And since her hair was curly again today, it’s even more relevant, ha ha. Hope everyone enjoys!

He hated that he couldn’t be there with her tonight. She is always there for him whenever he has an interview, she’s always backstage, in the dressing room, just over the sightline of the camera, the last person who wishes him good luck and the first person who tells him he’s done a good job. And here she is, filming a program, something he knows makes her incredibly nervous, and he is stuck at the Élysée because duty always calls.

He feels guilty too. This woman who gives so much to him every single day, has given so much to him every single day for almost the last 30 years, she needs him, and he’s not there for her like she always is for him.

He is waiting just inside the doors of the Élysée when her car pulls up, needing to be close to her as soon as possible.

"How did it go?" he called out as soon as he saw the door open, loudly enough to be heard from the inside.

"Fine," she answered timidly, still not in his line of sight. "You know I always hate doing things like that. It’s your domain. Not mine."

He knew she was still talking but he couldn’t hear anything after he saw her. ‘How on earth am I lucky enough to love and be loved by this gorgeous woman?’ He thought to himself when he regained a little control of his synapses.

"What?" She asked, a little self-consciously when she saw him staring.

"Your hair," he replied, still a little speechless at the curls, so different from her usual style and yet so beautiful.

"You don’t like it?"

"No, no, no!" he rushed to reassure her. "It looks beautiful. You look so beautiful."

"Well, thank you," she blushed, still just as unable to take a compliment from him, even after all these years.

"I’m so sorry I wasn’t there with you tonight," he told her sincerely, hang his head a little, even as he slipped his arms around her waist to hold her to him now that she was within his reach.

"You shouldn’t have to understand. I should be able to - " he was cutoff by the pressure of her finger under his chin, forcing him to look her in the eye as she told him -

Lestat tells a Rolling Stone journalist (who senses the UST between them and asks him about it) that everything between them is "make believe" and basically acting on his part to create a narrative, not "real life", he loves Louis etc. And the reporter (who's staying at the same hotel where Armand lives, The Chateau Marmont ofc), tells him about it and it enrages Armand who in turn tells the reporter about Lestat's stunt in rehab/past drug addiction. Then Armand sees Lestat at a party and tells him, "I have to tell you a secret. I think you're the most brilliant person I've ever met... besides me" ("does anyone else know the size of your soul?"). But before this happens they actually kiss in the parking lot. Lestat goes home to find Louis and their daughter sleeping in bed. Louis is definitely sure something's up now so he goes out on his own and ends up sleeping with Lestat's bandmate lmaoo this is a mess. The RS article comes out and turns out that to prevent the journalist from writing about Lestat missing his daughter's birth because he was too coked out to show up, he told him about Armand's current drug addiction. All this while they're still writing songs about each other. Lestat apologizes to Louis and says "history is what happened, not what almost happened" (ouch but... yeah). Armand fucks off to Greece. 3 episodes left and I feel like them not fucking is killing the vibe but YEAH.

Rocket Queen IS absolutely a Lestat/Armand song. A lot of 80's glam rock hits feel just like them 🤧🤧🤧 "groupie AU ties into them producing a vintage porno film together for 'promotional shock purposes'" oh my godddd YES, with them having to have sex in front of everyone while they make each other feel things they've never felt before. And it also fits into the "this is strictly business, no feelings" narrative that is clearly bullshit but they're too in denial to realize.

I was here for Robselle and the main four reuniting! I love Idina even more now, so seeing her reprise her role as Nancy made me happy 🫠🩷 I'm seeing her in July!! Edward didn't change at all lmao.

I have my dislikes but one of my biggest issues was that Morgan had no personality. The (witty) teenager-hates-her-life-and-has-no-friends character trope is so overdone and nothing original. Also, the writers really couldn't give her something to be passionate about or even a hobby? For example, fashion played a huge role in the first film, so it would've been sweet to see that Morgan was so inspired by her former, almost stepmother and current stepmother (both of who were fashion designers) that she wanted to try and follow in their footsteps and become a fashion designer herself. You know what I mean? Speaking of fashion, what did happen to Andalasia Fashions and Nancy Tremaine Studios??

I agree Morgan's character needed a bit of work, but I didn't mind that she was written that way, personally. She kind of adopted Robert's old personality, which, for me, I love characters like that, so Morgan acting like him, and rolling her eyes constantly was like. perfect sdifjsidjfods

also, even though it's while she was cursed, I feel like the lyrics in "Perfect" were kind of Morgan's true feelings, and I think it's interesting that she mentions secretly longing for adventure and romance.

also, also, I spend way too much time looking at the background details in movies, and while that doesn't excuse them not fleshing Morgan out all that much, there's a few hints about what her hobbies could be~

the dress forms make me think she has at least a small interest in fashion, and I can't remember what that instrument is called, but I find it very interesting she has it. I do agree the movie should've actually included these things, instead of tossing them into the background, but it's still interesting to me. I have my own different headcanons for what her hobbies are, though, but !! it's something.

there's also a bit in the Junior Novel where Giselle is wearing a sweater that says "World's Greatest Mom" that Morgan made her, and I wish that had been left in the movie, because it's so cute 🤧

as for Andalasia Fashions, there's nothing in the movie or novel that says it closed, so I personally headcanon it's still open, Giselle was just on maternity leave, and then they moved. I imagine she still owns it, she just doesn't go in anymore? And in the novel, she tells Malvina she plans on opening a new studio in Monroeville, and at the end, Pip says she does open it right beside Robert's new firm, and it's called A Fairy-Tale Life.

I really, really wish that had been kept in the movie, and I don't understand why those specific lines were cut, but yeah, Giselle gets a new shop! that's canon :3

Disenchanted for me is like. there's ideas in there I really love and can pluck things from it, and flesh them out on my own, yk? there's just enough ingredients in there for me to cook up something fun, and I enjoy doing so. does that excuse the movie not being The Best Thing Ever? no, but I'm still having a lot fun with what they did give me 😇

i haven’t seen the movie yet but the reviews have been well as far as i’m seeing, but it definitely could’ve been a hit if it weren’t for all that mess

I’m gonna be honest I saw it and I wanted to see what all the attention was. I am saying this with no bias that the movie isn’t very good. What that person commented earlier was accurate. The script was changed for the worst, Olivia did not know what she was doing with this film and the actors took the weak material that they were given and made the best of it. Harry was absolutely a miscast and the performances by Florence, Chris, Gemma, and Kiki, the cinematography and the costuming were the best parts of this movie. Olivia Wilde‘s character had way too much screen time for absolutely no reason and what she did with the women of colour in this film was fucking terrible. Again she had no reason to do what she did with them and as a white woman it was not her place to tell the stories of women of colour and also to play into the harmful model minority meant for Asians but also the continuous disrespect and treatment of black women was ridiculous. This movie was the literal white feminist take on Get Out and it shows me that Olivia doesn’t understand What intersectional feminism means. The drama surrounding this movie was more entertaining than the actual film itself and while I do think that the audience score reflects more that the critic’s went wrong this movie just isn’t very good. I think booksmart was a huge success and Olivia try to emulate and want it don’t worry darling to be an even bigger success and reached too far for the stars and fell flat on her face. Whether or not the relationship is real or not it did not help this film at all and it put a really bad stain on the reputation of Olivia and Harry.

there’s not much i can say because i haven’t seen it yet, really. harry as a miscast makes so much sense to me though but i might be biased because i just don’t think of him as an actor because he’s not a natural but oh well🤧

makes sense to me as well that a lot of people are talking about this being a white feminist take though and miss kiki proved so by her post.

anyway, i wish years from now, they make a documentary about this movie so we can see the shit that went down 💀

i’m okay i think 🧍🏻‍♀️ the last week i’ve been way more tired than i usually am which i thought was impossible because i’m constantly exhausted but we roll. i’ve been trudging through life and don’t plan to give up yet

there’s parts of the course where i’m like, this is kinda stinky. like yesterday kinda sucked in the morning but!!! we experimented with adobe audition in the afternoon and i was actually having fun. i had a bunch of questions too so i feel like i learnt a lot because i wasn’t scared to ask any of them.

there’s been quite a few workshops and classes i’ve honestly really really loved. we recreated a scene from ‘call me by your name’ one morning and it was the first time i wanted them to keep us over the three hours because it was just so much fun. using stuff like three point lighting, and how they recreate the glow of the fire in front of the actor

i was so sad when we only had an hour in the sound studio too, we were doing the foley for a shawn the sheep episode. i got to make the noise for the bush using hay, and i wish we had longer so we could have recorded more but i’m sure we’ll get to do something like that again at some point.

i also hacked the system and got myself a second individual tutorial when we’re only supposed to have one, and i’m a little more confident about my work now. it still feels like i have a lot to do and it’s due next week so i’m kinda shitting myself, especially because i still have to edit my production design reflection and then write for one for sound design and cinematography but i’ll live 😔 i’m basically done all my cinematography stuff so i can finally start writing the boring bit

but i think if you’re considering it you should take it 🕺 and then we can become super cool film friends and make cool stuff maybe. plus it’s just fun most of the time when they’re not blabbering on about stuff you sorta learn in primary school english about stories and stuff. but other than that, i quite like it!!
