#6-7/50 of my 2024 reads- The Ancient Magus’ Bride volumes 11 & 12

I’m really enjoying the college arc. That being said I do love this series but at the same time the past few volumes I’ve been wondering if my 5 stars for them is actually right. I really enjoy the volumes but when I compare it to my favourite manga series Yona of the Dawn it’s not hitting as hard which leaves me questioning my ratings.

Volume 11 checked off the prompt read a book in the dark for me for Wicked Winterween which is a readathon hosted by Gabbyreads on YouTube.

5 stars for both

P.s. sorry about all the post I’ve been reading everyday since December 31st and am trying to read 31 books in January just to see if I can.

I am on a book buying ban- have been on one since September…but my friend surprised me with this on release day. We said we could surprise each other with books during the ban; just not buy books for ourselves.

I loved this. I loved If We Were Villians; and I knew this was gonna be it for me as well. ML Rio has such an amazing writing style; and this is a short novella so I don’t want to say much.

This is about a group who are on a non-smoking campus and they end up meeting in the graveyard in the middle of the night, and it becomes a tradition.

This was so good and I love the cover, the characters were just as fleshed out as If We Were Villains- and it was multiple POV. I really loved it and was so perfect for Spooky Season. So maybe next year or Summerween or the Winterween; put this on the TBR.

A Cats’ Pearls are most often in 1200 different shades of pure color, mostly white. However, they often shift depending on the type of cat. Some end up as Silver or Golden. Though, for over half a century no one has seen a golden cat since 1864.

The last known golden cat still is known to have not disappeared, however, it will again show itself on Halloween should it feel comfortable doing so. Most of them show themselves during the Winterween or Vringo, however, the golden is the only exception where it is only once every 1200 years.
