Lunch was left over roast beef julliened and marinated in soy sauce and beef stock tossed into a ramen noodle soup with julliened red bell pepper, green bell pepper, yellow onion and broccoli florets with a cuo of hot coffee. This is what the front yard looks like here at the old Prairiefire Bushcraft Igloo up at the North Pole. This time of year we're busy shovelling and preparing whale blubber oil for our lamps for the long cold winter nights ahead. If you look close you can see the snow pile in the centre of our street left by the plows. It's already over a foot. By spring I probably won't be able to see the driveway across the street. But the snow is deep enough for snow shoeing now. We had a little plumbing related emergency I had to address yesterday that kept me n my munchkin from going out for our first winter snow shoeing hike. I'm planning a solo hike for tomorrow so long as no more faucets start to leak and freeze up ourtside! LOL #winterinsaskatchewan (at Saskatchewan)
